Natasha was dead and her best friend had killed her, thoughts swirled around Yelena's head as she laced up her pumps, stretched and then went back and forth across the floor doing spins, flys, birds until her calves ached and she collapsed onto the floor.

Today she was angry, how dare Clint Barton kill her sister, she trusted him, she angrily taped up her hard shoes and set to work stomping and drumming and clicking to make the whole world feel her anger and pain, tears splashed onto the floor as she danced washing away the scuff marks on the floor.

Yelena remembers when she and Natasha were little and Natasha would show her the things she learnt in her ballet classes. Leaping across the floor in her soft shoes, Yelena remembers her sister and how she will never see her again.

Today the red room haunts her and she has classical music and ballet positions stuck in her head. She turns on a heavy jig and drowns out her thoughts with the loudness of the hard shoes and the music.

Kate Bishop, another person being used and manipulated by Clint Barton just like Natasha. Yelena angrily flies around the room nearly kicking herself in the head when doing a scissor click. Her turns make her nearly fall and when she does a bird she doesn't point her toes or even make it very far into the air. Her technique is bad but it doesn't matter, she's angry.

Clint Barton didn't kill Natasha, Yelena knew deep down that he didn't but it still hurts. It's Christmas day and Yelena is dancing. The music flows around her as she flies about in her sparkly vest tipping and clicking. In her mind her big sister is dancing right alongside her.
