Bathroom
Сarina had been sick for two hours and that was only while she was in the hotel, and for about half an hour she was sick in Grey Sloan. She didn't even take off her scrub, but rather put on a sweatshirt because she was cold and needed to feel at least some warmth.
She had just come back from the bathroom, and after another vomit, Сarina lay down on the edge of the bed so that she could quickly get back to the bathroom if something happened. As soon as she more or less calmed down, someone knocked on the door. She was ready to scream and chase this person away, whoever he was, but the brunette didn't have the strength to do this, so she got up and staggered to the door and opened it. In front of her was her wife, whom she had not seen since the day she came to their apartment to take the shampoo :) She hesitated for a second and just wanted to tell Maya to go away, but she didn't have time because another attack happened and she ran to the toilet, closing the door behind her.
Сarina heard the footsteps and was expecting to see the blonde next to her, but realized that Maya hadn't entered her room, which made her happy. She told Maya to leave, but the blonde was determined to stay and help the brunette. Сarina was angry, offended, and spilled her guts. Maya, in turn, remained silent and listened attentively. The firefighter asked to let her in, but DeLuca refused. After that Carina vomited again and barely managed to run to the toilet. Maya heard everything perfectly well and was so hurt for her wife, but she respected her boundaries. Сarina almost cried and told Maya that she didn't want to be a doll, that everyone would play with her and she was already tired of it.
Сarina moved from the toilet to the floor and tried to warm herself and collect herself. But with every breath she took, she began to feel that it was harder to breathe and her vision began to blur. She tried to focus, but she couldn't do it, she didn't say anything, she didn't have the strength to do it anymore. Maya realized that she hadn't heard the brunette for quite some time and began to worry. She called her once, then immediately a second time, and then a third, but there was no response.
For her part, Сarina could hardly hear or see anything. She could only hear Maya calling her name, but the sound was as if in water. Сarina wanted to call Maya, to tell her that she was feeling very bad and was going to collapse, Carina is a doctor and of course knows how it feels , but her strength had completely left her and all she could say was: "Maya...". She realized that it was very quiet and her wife did not hear it. Maya was about to open the door when she heard her name. It felt as if she had knocked it down with the force with which she opened it. The firefighter immediately ran to Сarina, who was almost unconscious, her face was white as a wall and her eyes were closed.
Сarina mumbled something else, but Maya couldn't understand it. As soon as the blonde woman was distracted for a second to hook up her wife's IV, the brunette felt her last strength completely leave her and the last thing she remembered was hitting the floor hard and hearing her Maya's screams. It was her wife, the same Maya who was there six months ago. When Maya saw Сarina falling, her whole life flashed before her eyes, all their happy moments. She shouted her wife's name, but no one answered her
There was fear in Maya's eyes, for the first time in her career as a firefighter and paramedic she did not know what to do, tears began to appear in her eyes, but she had to gather herself and put aside her fear. At first she tried to bring Сarina to consciousness herself, but after 5 minutes of unsuccessful attempts, she dialed Jack's number and quickly told him to come up to the room.
Maya sat with Сarina in her arms and held her like a mother holds her child. Now she was crying full-fledgedly and asked Andrea not to take Carina to him. Seeing Сarina like this, Maya realized how wrong she had been. Сarina is the meaning of her life, not her job, but her wife.
A second later, Jack appeared with a gurney. The scene he saw brought back memories of a month ago, when he saw Maya lying on the floor in the same way. When Maya raised her head, he could see her teary eyes, and he could almost see them in his own, but he knew he had to do something. He ran up to Сarina and began checking her vital signs, while Maya, in turn, held her wife even tighter, afraid to let her go again.
After a few minutes, they realized that Сarina had been unconscious for a very long time, which was bad. Without saying a word, they lifted her up and put her on a stretcher and took her to an ambulance. Jack drove as fast as he could and at the same called Miranda Bailey to get the best doctors for Carina. At first, the doctor was scared, she thought something had happened with her husbahusband, but when she heard from Gibson that he was fine, she calmed down for a second, but then she heard that it was Carina. She promised to prepare the best doctors and said they were waiting for their arrival. Jack realized that so far, so good, considering their situation, but as soon as he thought about it, he immediately heard the blonde hysterically calling for her wife and in the background was the worst sound any rescuer had ever heard in his life - a straight line
Maya heard Jack talking to Miranda, but her attention was on Carina, who still hadn't woken up, but was lying so peacefully on the gurney. Maya couldn't understand how her wife could look so beautiful, even when she was unconscious. The blonde began to punish herself for treating the love of her life so terribly, she knew exactly what she had to do to fix it. Maya was snatched away by Carina, who began to convulse and her whole body was shaking. Tears began to form in Maya`s eyes, she could do nothing but hold her wife`s head, she was prepared for the vessels to last at least 20 seconds, but they ended literally immediately and a real nightmare began, a straight line. Maya was screaming her wife`s name again, she could see Jack`s worries, but she quickly turned on the paramedic mode and said one phrase with waterfall of tears in her eyes: "STARTING DOING COMPRESSION"
