The first client at the new and improved office was a Mexican man in his 70's, who couldn't speak English very well and came in one morning looking for the lawyer who once helped his friend Elena, so Karen assisted Foggy translating back and forth everything that needed to be said and understood by both parties.
Matt went in just as the man was almost leaving, heard the end of the meeting, smiled when the old man complimented Karen's language skills, quickly went back out and bought avocados so they could have guacamole as a celebratory lunch. Foggy wondered if that was considered cannibalism. Matt shook his head at Foggy for the terrible joke while Karen laughed loudly.
It became a ritual for every new latino client they'd get and a private joke now shared by the three of them.
