"He once told me, he'd rather be a good man, than a great king" Loki said solemnly
"While you were disguised as Odin of course" Heimdall snarked
"Do you really need to bring this up again right now? We have all eternity" Loki said annoyed
"While I am concerned that he is running away from his feelings. Asgard isn't a place, it’s a people. And like you, I want him to be happy" Heimdall smiled. Loki rolled his eyes ever so slightly, but didn’t deny what Heimdall said.
"The talking rabbit bugs me though" Loki said irritatedly
"Yeah he's strange" Heimdall agreed “Since when do animals talk?”
"He also amuses me" Loki added thoughtful
Their bodies are translucent. Invisible to thor standing right before them. But they were here for him nonetheless, and always would be. Loki's spirit shifted and went to his brother's left side, and heimdall on his right.
"If this is what you want brother." Loki said quietly
"Whatever you decide" Heimdall added
"We will be with you" Loki finished as he put his hand as if to rest it on Thor's shoulder. Heimdall did the same.
