‘Darling,’ Tony Stark croaked, shivering because of the violent cold that held him in its grip. ‘What’s that?’

‘A sponge, water, and clean pyjamas’ Loki answered, frowning. The fact that even the soothing honey drink Tony loved so much didn’t help was worrying.

Loki had little patience with Midgardian ailments in general, but when Tony kept complaining about being a sweaty mess, he jumped into action and asked JARVIS for advice.

‘A sponge bath? Seriously?’

‘Yes,’ replied Loki. ‘To clean you up and reduce the fever.’

Happily, Tony smiled; he was already feeling better for being cared for so well.
