Feelings
Loki Laufeyson was in love, or at least he thought he was. It was something he had never really experienced before.
Every day he saw this person, interacted with him, but he would never talk to him about his feelings. Why do you ask? Well there were a couple of reasons. One of them being that his feelings were for his older brother, Thor. There were plenty of times Loki found himself watching Thor when he would spar with other soldiers, watching his movements, watching the sweat trickle down his face. It was hard to not watch him when he washed his arms off in the small basin of water kept in the training area.
The other reason was because Loki never talked about his feelings. To anybody. It was easier to keep his feelings inside than to be judged. Also if word got out about him crushing on a male Loki would be shunned or judged. Being attracted to both men and women wasn't really talked about on Asgard. Loki had a feeling that if word got out about his feelings for his brother he would be banished from Asgard. So as of right now it was easier to just ignore it.
That worked out for about two weeks but then the dreams started. At first they were simple dreams, Loki and Thor just talking to each other, but a few days later they started to turn sexual. Every dream was the same Thor would come into his room, wake him up and slowly start to place kisses against his pale skin. The slow, sensual kisses quickly turn into rough, hungry ones. Clothes were tossed across the room and when Thor would start to kiss his way down Loki always woke up.
The lustful dreams easily started to affect Loki. He started to avoid Thor and their friends, after sparring sessions he would quickly exit, if he was enjoying dinner he'd come up with an excuse to leave if Thor walked in. In Loki's mind there was no reason for Thor to return his love. Hell there wasn't even a real reason Thor had to hang out with him. Most of the time Loki felt like he was an annoying object that they couldn't get rid of.
When he had no choice and had to see Thor he was careful about what he was doing. If he caught himself looking he quickly looked away. If he was in the middle of something, whether it be magic or something else, it was easier but it still made him scared. If Sif or anybody noticed Loki checking out Thor then he would be in big trouble. Of course if she brought it up he could easily displace those rumors as Sif was known to cling to certain males. Everybody knew Sif had been crushing on Thor for years.
Every day after he did his things on Asgard he always ended up going back up to his room. Some days it was easier to avoid everybody but he always found an excuse when people asked why he was in his room. He had to be careful though because there were only so many times one could claim migraines. He knew people were talking about his constant disappearances but he didn’t care. All he knew was that he needed to get these feelings under control if he ever wanted to face his brother again.
