I blame Pedro for this, in that video where he was laughing because Oscar had said that Moon knigth was stronger than Din. I couldn't get that idea out of my head and here it is.As always, I remind you that I am not an English-based author, so there will be spelling and grammar errors, I am not a specialist in Egypt either so you're warned and the characters belong to their own authors, I don't receive income for this and I only write it for have fun and entertain others.

The lady of the night

Grogu smiled as he raised his face and met his Master's gaze.

Ever since that day he had chosen his Mandalorian father over the kind Jedi who had rescued them both from the ship the Moff had imprisoned him in, the kid had always feared for the pale-haired young human, who had stayed alone in the new temple he was founding.

“Grogu?” Luke asked, inspecting the boy with his eyes “Are you okay?”

The little green child widened his smile when he thought that his Master had never been able to hear him speak, since he had only been able to perceive him in the Force, like Mrs. Ahsoka. So, what was going to happen was probably going to be just as shocking as what had happened when his Buir first heard him talk

“Grogu, be well” said the boy, holding back his laughter when he saw how he had succeeded since the blonde Jedi opened his eyes wide “Master well too?”

“I... Grogu...” the young Master got confused when answering “Grogu?”

“That's not nice ad'ika” his father's voice demanded, although also with some humor in the tone “You're going to make your Master faint”

“Din? Did you know about this?” the Jedi asked his Buir.

“It isn’t my responsibility” answered his Mandalorian father “but that of your grandfather, cyar'ika”

“Luke, Din” the Master sighed “that my name is Luke”

“Do you tell him or do I tell him?”

Commented a man next to a pretty lady with braids, who, laughing, gave him a gentle elbow bump, while next to both of them, another man covered in white cloth also held his laughter.

“Anubis” commented the man who had been trapped in the sculpture “Tell me this is not your descendant”

The dog-headed gentleman laughed low while nodding.

“It runs in the family, Khonshu” commented Anubis, shaking his head at the other god “If you saw what it took for his grandmother that I understood certain hints. Although… Mandalorian friend, this isn’t something we had talked and you should have”

Din raised an eyebrow inside the helmet as he heard the god complain about not having spoken to him about… he supposed his relationship with the Jedi.

Let's see.

It's not like the silver-armored warrior had intended to enter in such a relationship.

It was something that had happened.

And for the record, the Mandalorian had made it crystal clear to Skywalker that it wasn't a good idea.

But the blond hadn't taken no for an answer and…well, here they were.

Din turned his face to find himself looking into Luke's light blue eyes and a little lower down into Grogu's dark brown eyes. His two Jedi watching him curiously. One because he was obviously waiting for a response from him and the other because he didn't understand what was really going on.

“No, we didn't talk about it” the warrior in silver armor recognized then “but...”

“Wait” the Princess intervened pointing to Anubis “Excuse me for interrupting, but… are you sure you can claim something like that?”

“Honey…”

“No, Han. He isn’t a person we know. Neither Luke nor the Manda'lor owe him an explanation if they want to start a relationship. And to be honest, if half of what the dreams told us is true, the truth is that with the divine companions he has, none of us need to be around him”

A deep silence fell in the chamber, while the gods present turned to see Anubis, whose smile, as expected, had completely disappeared from his face.

Din sighed.

He felt sorry for the guy.

From what the god had told them on the way to this new world, his life had been quite hard and what had happened to him had been the responsibility of the other gods, not his.

“Master” Grogu said to Luke “Lower Grogu?”

The Mandalorian smiled again when he saw how his blond partner lowered his son to the floor, where the little boy began a calm walk with his little feet, until he stopped in front of the Princess.

“Me Grogu”

He told the woman who, as expected, smiled at his child.

“Hello Grogu, my name is Leia”

“Leia always able to speak?”

“Yes… yes, I have always been able to do it”

“Not Grogu. Cannot. Recently can”

“Oh, darling, I'm sorry, but you have a beautiful voice now that you can”

“Sir Anubis help. Help Grogu and Buir. Help. No one before help. Good sir. Not treat bad. Sir not harm Leia. Leia not treat bad Sir”

Han Solo wasn't a man that usually tell his wife: I told you.

At least not after the Rebellion and the fact that she had lowered herself from the pedestal on which she had always been to be the person who had ended up conquering him.

But if there was an occasion in which an: I told you, was necessary, it was precisely this one.

Leia had pulled the rope too far and earned herself a proper scolding from a dwarf who was basically a Jedi lump on the floor.

And to add insult to injury, the little guy was right.

This Anubis hadn't hurt them. Quite the contrary, from what dreams will announce to the brothers, that god had been protecting them for a long time. And he had had a really rough time before he could be directly involved in his grandchildren's lives.

In other words, Han didn't know what he would have done if, like that dog-headed being, he had been forbidden to be with the woman he loved and his own son, only to discover later that the latter had been mistreated to the point that he had lost his sanity, while his wife had been murdered.

The guy had endured too much.

It wasn't that Leia had no reason to be a little angry. The truth is that, something of reason assisted her. Neither Luke nor she should have paid the consequences for the problems between the gods. But her anger really had nothing to do with the presence of Anubis, but with the fear that everything related to that new world caused her. His wife had had enough of having to get used to the whole Jedi subject, even training with Luke, to have tools in the future with which to power their son Ben, to add others of that size.

Sadly, as beautiful as she was, his wife was human, and she was taking it out on a person who didn't deserve it, for circumstances that had been totally out of Anubis' control.

“Very well” said the Corellian smuggler adjusting his belt as he stepped forward patting the Mandalorian on the back “It seems that you and I, Beskar's covered friend, have an authorization to request”

Thoth, god of magic, gazed intently at the young egyptian at his feet.

The woman was evidently a skilled warrior. Young, sure, but his warriors had always been young resilient ladies.

Unlike his partner in the domain of the moon, Khonshu, his approach to combat and divine intervention on earth had been more linked to women than to men.

The females were a better channel for Thoth’s qualities, more receptive, capable of recovering and organizing more easily.

For something, through the years, his presence had been a constant in the pagan altars. Since, precisely like Khonshu, Thoth had chosen not to abandon humanity, although his way of intervening lacked the flair that the other god had.

“Layla El-Faouly” he said to the woman leaning down to rest on one of his knees “I believe that you know my name”

“Thoth” whispered the admiring Egyptian, which caused the god to smile “Lord of magic and…”

“Many other things” recognized the divinity “Time is running out, my dear. And I think you know not only what, but why I'm here in front of you”

“Ammit is free and as soon as he finishes reviving and amassing power... she'll come here” the woman sighed “And you need an avatar to fight with her because you can't do it directly”

“Ammit is an intelligent goddess. Earth is the only place she aspires to rule for now. She ins’t directly interested in the Overvoid because, among the gods, she is the only one who has never visited that place and seen from there the innumerable worlds that could supply her insatiable hunger. For this reason, she isn’t willing to make use of her full capacity to fight the gods, since, if she did, the Earth would more than likely end up so devastated that it wouldn’t be able to give her the food she craves”

“Our souls…”

“Exactly”

“But if she succeeds, she would reach that Overvoid and from there...”

“All known universes”

Thoth confirmed to Layla, causing the Egyptian to take a deep breath.

The god understood. The insanity of the goddess was something difficult for anyone to process.

“I agree” the woman finally told him “I agree to be your avatar. Although… I think you put too much trust in me, but we can't let any of that happen”

“Believe me, young Layla” answered the god of Magic, getting up while his power slid from within him to surround the woman in violet circles “You are more valuable than you think”

The voice of the god was heard in the desert night and the intense violet circles were transformed into bandage-shaped coverings as black as night.

Thoth's avatar's ceremonial costume was very similar to Khonshu's, but dispensed with the unnecessary effect of the cloak and didn’t hide the hair of any of his avatars.

“Welcome my champion” the god greeted the woman, who now stood proudly watching him “My Lady of the Night. Your fellow warriors await”
