"Mr. Stark, do you think this equation is right?"
Tony looked away from the suit he was working and glanced at the screen that Peter was showing him, and hummed.
"Yep. Seems like you've definitely spent some time trying to figure that out" he teased, ruffling his hair. Peter tried to duck away, with no success.
"Mr. Staarrkkkk" he whined. Tony laughed and started closing up the workshop.
"Come on kiddo, let's go send you home, before Happy becomes entirely unhappy." He paused on his way to the door, looking fondly at Peter.
"Good job today Underoos."
Peter beamed back at him.
"So, how's the pad thai? You like it? Need some more?"
"It tastes awesome Aunt May! And naah, I'm full!" Peter exclaimed happily. Aunt May smiled back at him fondly.
"So how was your day?" May watched as Peter started narrating his whole day to her.
"So Ned found this new lego set yesterday, and get this, it was a Spider-man one! May, they have legos of me! And we both started building it together today too! We're planning on finishing it this Saturday! Oh and there was this adorable kitty that I saw today, it was just so fluffy!" Peter kept on rambling excitedly and told her about his day with Mr. Stark and how MJ had sketched Flash when the teacher gave him detention.
May leaned forward when he finished with his narration. "Seems like you had an exciting day today!"
"Yep, and how was yours?"
"Same old. There was this kid today who was terrified of needles, and it was a bit funny."
The evening was spent trading stories and laughter.
"Good night Peter."
"Good night Aunt May, I larb you!'
"I larb you too"
"Bro, that's so cool." Ned exclaims, watching the latest spider-man video on youtube.
"Dude, you just went thwip thwip to their faces!"
"Yeah! They won't shut up about how good Subway Haven was and i take offense to that!" Peter laughed at the way how Ned seemed entranced with the fight on the screen.
"Woah, what web combo is that?" Ned asked, pointing at the screen where Peter seemed to be able to sense everything in the vicity of his webs.
"Thread webs. They just let me know where everything is through the vibrations? Best for setting traps honestly."
"That's awesome! Have I told you how happy I am that-"
"-I gave you the chance to be part of this journey? Yep." Peter smiled fondly at Ned who was waxing poetry about how great his best friend was.
"You coming, loser?"
Peter glanced up from the book he was doodling in and noticed that the classroom was empty.
"The bell rang?" he asked, as he started to walk along with MJ. Ned was sick, so it was just the two of them today.
"Yeah."
"Cool. So, any new sketches today? Any new distress that you captured?" Peter asked, adjusting the straps of his bag, looking at MJ curiously.
"You. Mr. Harrington calling on you gave me a really good one today." MJ smirked slightly at Peter's pouting face.
"It was not my fault! He just drones on and on, i can't help falling asleep!"
"Sure, loser. Do hope you heard the anouncement of the field trip." MJ walked away smiling slightly from the confused Peter.
"Wait what?! Where to?!" he yelled, running to catch up.
"MoMa."
Peter startled awake to the sound of thunder. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and stared out the window.
I miss you.
He walked around the single bedroom apartment, looking for something to eat. He glanced upon the photos on the wall, all of him with his loved ones. Except, he wasn't in them. Not anymore.
His eyes welled up, thinking of everything he lost. He was all alone, no one knew him anymore.
No more lab days Mr. Stark was dead. No more dinners with May Aunt May's dead too. No more lego nights with Ned or lunches and sketching class with MJ They didn't remember him. Maybe no one will suffer anymore. Nobody needed Peter Parker.
After all, Peter Parker didn't exist.
