Treehouse

"Do not enter" it's written on the doorway
Why can't everyone just go away?
Except you, you can stay
What do you think of my treehouse?
It's where I sit, and talk really loud
Usually, I'm all by myself”

Peter Parker is alone. Not only mentally but also physically. After Dr Stranges spell, everyone forgot who he was. Including Ned, who he had been best friends with since kindergarten after Peter had watched from afar as bed played with his Lego set until Ned had asked him if he wanted to join, which Peter had blushed bright red and enthusiastically stumbled his way over to him. Who he had spent every waking moment with (with the exception of him “Spider-Maning” his way through the city.

MJ, who he had had a crush on for years. In the past year she had opened up so much, sharing her conspiracy theories (including things like how the moon landing was fake but not limited things like the Bermuda Triangle). He missed how every morning she’d tell him a new theory or fact she had learnt.

Missing Aunt May was the worst of everything. The reason being that he couldn’t see her walking it her favourite coffee shop, or seeing her help out at the shelter. Because she had died in his arms.

“Peter” May breather raggedly “Peter, you must listen. Please! Use your powers for good. With great power become great responsibility.” Mays breathing slowed down. “Hey, Hey. Aunt May look at me, look at me. I promise,ok? It’s just you and me.” He chuckles wetly. Holding her bleeding body, he tries to stop the red oozing out of her. “SOMEBODY! SOMEBODY HELP!! PLEASE, SHES DYING SHES-“

Looking down he realises she stopped moving. “Aunt May? Aunt May!” Peters breathing quickens. Pulling her lifeless body closer he sobs into her chest, quietly begging her to stay.

“Stay with me, please Aunt May!” Clutching at her hand he kisses herknuckles.

“Get out of here Peter quickly!” Happy shouts trying to stop the officers and everyone from getting in he-

Gasping, Peters heart beats erratically out of his chest. Trying to slow his breathing down he quickly counts down from 10.

Stupid Parker, always getting pulled into the past

Getting up from his squeaky mattress in his crappy apartment, he crosses to the other side of the room to grab some clean clothes to get changed into after his shower.

Finding something decent, he heads to the dingy bathroom and shuts the door.

Stepping out of his clothes he hops into the shower and turns the head to the coldest setting.

Shivering, he lathers himself in the cheap soap that he could barely afford.

The cold seemed to always help him after a nightmare or a flashback, Peter never seems to mind, especially if he doesn’t have to pay for extra hot water.

Once he was finished with his ice cold shower, Peter drys himself with the scratchy towel and pulls on his cleaner clothes. Leaving the bathroom he falls on his squeaky mattress and curls up on his side, praying that he sleeps a dreamless night. Soon after, he falls asleep.
