Drunk Confessions
After successfully avoiding the man who was most likely still held up in the lab I knock on the door of Natasha’s room awaiting a response to come in..no reply. I hear a certain voice walk up behind me “hey, you looking for Nat” I let out a sigh of relief as I turn around and see Sam stood there, I nodded in response, “she's talking with Tony right now, but Ithink I saw Wanda heading to your room” I felt the colour drain from my face as I realised Nat must have asked Tony about the lab with Bruce, I thanked sam quickly walking to try and find Wanda as i bump right in to her “oh hi i was looking for you’ she lets out a laugh as i pull her to the side explaining that it was Loki not Tony. “Wait so the conversation did happen..it just wasn't Tony Tony” i nodded my head to the brunette as we both see Natasha coming towards us, she goes to speak but i quickly cut her off saying “i know” she looks at me in confused “Loki came to me not long after you guys left and told me, said i wasnt to tell Tony but bit late for that” she nods as we continue making our way to the red hairs room, i spin around to the woman “Is Tony pissed?” i question not wanting Loki to get in to trouble about this, she shakes her head “not as much as he should be, we all agree watching you is…painful” I huff “why is everyone saying that” I exclaim as the two women laugh, “Tony's going to talk to Loki about it, I was scared to ask what he was going to say”.
We sat chatting on Nats bed for quite a while until it hit 6 o’clock and we were interrupted by the AI’s voice “Mr.Stark would like everyone in the common room” i hear Wanda thank FRIDAY as we started to get up, the two of them had already gotten dressed, Nat was wearing a long velvet maroon dress while Wanda was wearing a plain black satin dress with some knee high black socks, courtesy of yours truly, then a green cardigan on top. We began making our way down stairs as i seen Bruce also exiting his room, he was wearing a dark grey suit and his glasses which were the cherry on top, i shot him a small smile turning back to the two girls they look at me “go talk to him you idiot” i shook my head violently as Nat pushes me backwards, sighing to myself i turn around walking up to the scientist “did you need something” he looks at me, i put my hand over my heart and scoff “what can i not walk with my favourite doctor?” he chuckles fixing his glasses, of course i get giddy over that, smiling to myself i put my arm up for him to hold on to “am i not the one that’s supposed to do that” i feel his eyes on me as he holds out his arm “well Dr.Banner lead the way then” i smirk linking our arms as we began to walk towards the elevator.
The two of us caught up to Wanda and Natasha at the elevator, seeing at the corner of my eye Nat give Bruce a small wink while Wanda was smirking at us, i subtly roll my eyes at the pair as we all reach the end of the elevator, we all step out heading to the common room where the other avengers were, i looked around for Loki seeing him in the corner with Thor attempting to have a conversation with him, Loki obviously ignoring him as usual. “Hello you four, ready for an amazing night” i sigh rolling my eyes at the billionaire, realisation hit that mine and Bruce’s arms were still interlocked as i feel a certain archer tap my back while Bruce is talking to the two girls, i spin around letting go of Bruce's hand to talk to Clint.
“Are you finally getting somewhere?” he laughs at me, rolling my eyes i shrug my shoulders, “this is the most attention i've got from him in months” i chuckle “Well lets hope luck is on your side tonight, i heard what Loki did to Bruce” he lets out a small laugh, me doing the same as everyone starts to go downstairs to the massive bar, i look around noticing that Bruce had already left, i huff turning to clint. “I've been abandoned” me and him began to walk and join everyone in the hall. I spot Nat leaving Clint to go talk to her, “Hey you” i say walking towards her “Bruce saw Thor and wanted to go talk to him, incase you wanted to know” she said giving me a sympathetic look, “you want anything to drink” she asks me “yes please i need to forget about tonight as quickly as possible” she laughs at me walking to the bar grabbing us drinks, i search the room looking for people i know. I spot Loki, Thor and Bruce in a corner of the room, Nat comes up behind me handing me my drink, she nudges me telling me to go obviously noticing that i was looking at the men in the corner, i began to walk over there “i'm here to save you” i say to the ravenette before he could reply the blonde tall god spoke up “Loki and i were about to go and get some of your midgardian fun juice” he nudges Loki as they both walk off, i let out a sigh of frustration “why is everyone walking away from me tonight” i let out a small giggle as Bruce speaks up “sorry about that” his hand rubbing against his neck (something i've realised he does when he’s nervous), not realising i had accidentally dragged him about earlier, i gasp “oh no i wasn't meaning you i'm sorry, it was my fault i walked away first” i start to laugh reassuring the doctor. We stood talking for a while before we noticed the two gods coming back towards us, “Would you like to try this?” Thor pulled out what looked like some sort of golden flask, “what is it?” I tilt my head, “asgards finest beverage” The tall god explains “Will it get me drunk?” Thor nods his head “Do not drink too much, since you are a human it will affect you a lot more” Loki tells me, i shrug my shoulders pouring some of it into my cup that i had already finished beforehand.
I definitely should’ve listened to the two gods as here i was laying on the couch in the hall with the team, mainly everyone had left leaving the Avengers and I, everyone was talking as i laid up against the red haired assassin, “i need to definitely go to bed” i announce slurring a few of my words, attempting to stand up, my leg giving away as i fell back down on the sofa, Bruce placed his hand on my back as he pushed me upwards with him “It's alright, i've got you” he assures me as i take his hand and start to walk towards the exit alongside him. As the two of us were walking down the hall towards my bedroom, I stopped abruptly looking at the scientist “you know you’re like really hot” dragging out the really while almost mastering not slurring, “you are drunk, we need to get you to bed” he shakes his head “No! Why do you always do this? I've made it so obvious that i like you and you keep pushing me away” obviously slurring and stumbling over my words as the alcohol hit me hard, “listen to me, you aren't in the right mindset right now, just let me take you to bed” i grumbled annoyed as i let the doctor take me to my room. “you want me to take it from here” the sokovian suggests from the door to Bruce as he nodded his head leaving the room, “hey you need to get changed” i mumble a small no lying down on my bed, “that was not an option, get up” she says in a very motherly tone, even though she was younger than me. The witch had managed to get me into pajamas causing me to soon fall into a deep slumber.
