Lee Private School 9-12 Boarding House

Mama and Papa left last night, so I drive to the Boarders with Yelena.
I recognize Makkari Lovatt and Druig Sheridan standing by the doors. Makkari’s signing something as Druig laughs. I’ve seen them around school and I’ve had a few classes with them over the years. I know they keep to themselves a lot, I’ve only ever seen them talk to a few of the kids I know are in DSU+A and the other exchange students. I’m 90% sure he’s Irish and she’s from somewhere in Europe. She doesn’t talk and Druig has translated for her for years.
Someone else is standing next to them, they look vaguely familiar(bright red hair is hard to forget), but I don’t know who they are.
I get my answer when I get out of the car and walk up to them. Druig introduces them as Sprite Thomas, Sersi Thomas’ little sibling. Apparently, they’ve been charged with “babysitting” while Sersi is off doing something.
“I’m fourteen, I don’t need a babysitter,” Sprite mutters, arms crossed.
Makkari signs something and Druig says, “sorry, kiddo, boss’ orders.”
“Sesri is not the boss of anything.”
“Uh huh, Ajack left her in charge of making sure we all do things so I think you’re wrong,” Druig pats the top of their head.
“Well, I think you should shut the fuck up.”
Makkari hits Druig’s arm lightly so he looks at her as she signs something.
“Right, we gotta do the tour thing.” He waves his hand for us to follow. “Come on then. We’ll get your bags and shit later.”
We follow him inside where he shows us the common room- a kitchen and a living room, plus a table. There’s two people on the couch, in the middle of a wrestling match, while someone else watches from the armchair, face seemingly interested in the fight.
“That’s Katy and Shang-Chi. They do this a lot,” the person watching says, waving. “I’m Xialing, by the way.”
We introduce ourselves before being led down a hallway of rooms. Druig translates for Makkari, “you’ll learn who lives in each room pretty quickly.”
We’re shown the bathrooms, and to our own rooms(which are right next to each other). Then, they help us bring all of our stuff upstairs and set up our beds.
