Note
~Daisy/Skye was raised as Hydra ~everything is still the same till s1 which I will write about in the prologue.~Daisy/Skye does have her powers and had them the whole time.~ I have seen AoS once and half times so I remember the basics but as much a I like canon which will be for the basic 'plot' but i will be making up stuff.~ all ages the same but Skye/Daisy will be a bit younger then her age in the film(25-26) at the being of the show.~ I'm basing Skye/Daisy by her looks in the comics, like the with the pixie cut.~don't expect much, plus the story will probably move quickly as I can't write any filler chapters for life.

Chapter 31

Dreams were nice, Daisy liked dreams. They made her feel less than the monster she felt every day. Running smoke with Wanda doing the things they can't without the lingering fear of the past or present that loomed with tight grip on them. Yet she almost embraced it with familiarity as she realized they are both one of the same.

And being shaken awake as she lay under the heavy duvets because she don't think she would ever want to get out of bed and face the harsh reality of the present day which she'd chosen for herself. Groaning as she blinked her bleary eyes open to be bet with a straight face Wanda looked at her determining that she should have at three in the morning.

"Daisy get up. Now." Wanda didn't want to take no as an answer as she shoved an empty bag at a half-awake Daisy before running around the shares room like a mad woman pilling stuff into her duffle bag.

"Wha-Wanda, it's three in the morning." Daisy could have turned around and closed her eyes but Wanda seeming pulled her out of the bed and being greeted by the colder air in the room woke her up with a jolt. Blinking to adjust to the current situation as Wanda was now on to drafting through the draws and placing what seemed to be necessary clothing items that as if-

"Nope, absolutely not. Your thinking of running away? Aren't you? I can't do that you know I can't. If I leave before everything then I'll be much more of a wanted criminal than I am now."

Wanda turned to her, eyes tinted red in the moonlit darkness, anger buried deep, "You think I'm so thick, Daisy." Each word was like a flame, burning away at Wanda's usually light voice, "I know what you want. The others they don't know, there Nat who highly suspects it. I'm not so naive though. You wanted to be locked up and changed like an animal. Liked you've been your whole life."

"Wanda I dese-"

"DO-Dont you ever say you deserve it." she looked almost calm now, ethereal with the moon catching her skin making it glow, bringing a soft hand to cup her cheek which Daisy leaned into, "You were just a kid, young. You still are now despite your birthdate. Don't say you weren't manipulated because you were. Training a child to kill from birth is manipulation and your choose to let them get away by throwing your life away."

Her green eyes were mournful, glistening with tears that threatened to fall, "Wanda I can't leave not now, you know that." Daisy moved away from Wnadas warm touch as she turned to face the window that overlooked the training grounds.

"But you can leave with me. Somewhere where no one can find us. Settle down." Wanda's padded feet were the only thing that broke the silence as she came behind her and hugged her, arms wrapped around Daisy's waist with her chin resting on the short woman's shoulders.

"Adopt two little boys maybe a dog on the side to keep entertainment. Well attended the little community meeting, and take part in magic shows. Oh, I'll have become friends with the nosey neighbour who's filled with the gossip around the town. Live the dream." Wanda chatted nonstop in her ear about the perfect little life she'd like to live. Daisy couldn't disagree but she can't see herself as a stalled-down family type of person, nine with five jobs at the local bank each day a repetitive of the first.

It was like she was destined to keep fighting till her last breath on earth or where ever she'll be at that point, dying on an obscure planet in space looking at a stunning view as she went sounded like the dream way to go. Plastering on simply as she turned around to Wanda.

"We can't so if I'm locked up can we." Her voice remained strong at the looks of enthusiasm that Wamda gave off, it was truly intoxicating. Kneeling and ruching under the bed Daisy pulled out a duffle bag full of weapons she kept stashed away. Riffling through the lot, the guns and knives clashing echoed through the room but she didn't stop until she found her old set of daggers. Strategically placing each shaped blade in-between her layers of fabric and newly slipped-on combat books.

Wanda reminded sceptical about the weapons yet she didn't even know where to go, "Wanda, who else knows about this?" Digging throw the draws pocking out the most practical pieces of clothing and omitting, how we've sadly her mission suit and gauntlets. Too recognisable to be travelling across the world even with her wanted level.

Wanda looked nervous as she shifted a photo of the team in her hand before shoving it to her rucksack, "Me, Pietro and...Vision." Daisy whipped her head around to face Wanda because she was quite profusely confused, Sure Pietro was understandable but Starks robot who seems to be more sentient than a lot of people was joining them. Daisy assumed it could be with the connection they all share with these mystic stones.

Running as hand down her face as she got rid of the sleep that still lay in her, "...Ok, well Wanda do you even have any idea where we are going." Wanda who liked to do things day by day and didn't plan anything was planning an escape plan without any idea how to do it.

"No..." she looked sheepishly at Daisy but apologetically as she took a last look around their shared bedroom. Flowing in tow, as she shut the door, Daisy hoisted the bag over her shoulder as they soundlessly navigated through the dark hallways of the compound.

Sighing as she ran a hand down her face to let herself think for a few consecutive moments"Fine...I have a place, a safe house. It's been a few years since I've been there. Seeing as it's in Scotland I'm sure your fine with it?" Daisy asked to which Wanda just nodded, "Cheer up, I'll give you all rights to decorate. I'm sure you'll make it better with your amazing decor taste." Binning shoulders with Wanda to make her crack a smile, which she did.

When the couple arrived in the garage meeting with Pietro and Vision who seemed to be restless, well more Pietro than Vision who was just standing there creepily. The small group of four debated what car to take, Pietro wanted to take Tony's faster sports car which was shut down for a simple-looking SUV which still wasn't the most hidden but it was that or the ones with the S.H.I.E.L.Ds Logo branded in the metal.

With a last look at the compound before they boarded into the car with nothing but a bag full of the basic utensils and the false identities that Stark created and Natasha insisted everyone have just in case. And well it paid off a moment like this. Running from the authorities was thrilling till it wasn't.

——————

Tapping a tune to the radio as they were an hour into the drive to an airfield with her contact. Wanda was asleep in the passenger seat, face pressed up against the window, brown curls messy as she slept peacefully. Pietro was the opposite of his twin, playing games on his phone or bugging Vision to tell him wired facts. Gladly that the robot was sentient and not fully robot as the android avoided him to look curiously out at the countryside.

The radio wasn't much better to listen to, the news was a bore and the station's music wasn't the greatest. Deciding to go with Tony's song as it was better than Pietro's current music taste which was just an earache to even think about.

Another hour and a gas stop later they had finally pulled into the airspace where she was due to meet her contact. Shaking Wanda awake as the brunette blinked bleary and yawned, "What time is it?" Her voice was groggy with sleep as she stretched like a cat to get rid of the stiffness of her position.

"Half past time to get the hell up," Pietro shouted as he shoved passed Daisy, which she returned with a rather pissed-off huff. Wanda however skilled brightly at her twin sensing Daisy's annoyance seemed to wake her up just fine. Letting Pietro drag her out of the car and into the crisp morning air of the country that they needed up in.

Talking it upon herself to load out the bags, each had one except vision who seems to wear the same shirt, jumper, and slacks outfit each day looking neatly pressed and clean every day.

"Ms Johnson, do you require my assistance." Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. At this point, she wouldn't even be surprised if the Android could read minds. Seems to not be a limit to what he knows, hopefully, he takes after Ultron and lives in a city. London seems to need a make-other maybe she should push him to do it; itching for action.

"Are you alright Ms Johnson, you seem a little agitated?" Yes, London, British accents are annoying.

Exibxit A-Vision.

"I'm just tired, take the twin's bags will you then follow me? No wondering off."

"Affirmative." It made her Ill think about how Vision just obeyed her commands just like her or many others but not willingly, Vision was built to obey just like she had been but he was metal parts and she was blood and bone. Sure maybe her blood was a dangerous mix of chemical cocktails and magic and her bones liked to break whenever they felt like it. In any other way, she was still human.

Breathing in the fresh air after what seemed to be tainted city air felt like a cup of ice water, refreshing. Walking for ten minutes just as Wanda began moaning that she had feet pains then Pietro joined in. In classic sibling behaviour, they synced up their whinings to become unbearable.

That was until it was broken by a tall, dark-skinned man who strolled toward them, Daisy, with a beckoning gesture, "Pay up Johnson, or I'm selling you out."

Not knowing the man Wanda tensed up at that, death gripping Daisy's jacket and glaring green at him. Brushing it off Daisy knowing who her contact was pulled out a stack of cash and handed it over.

"For someone who is supposed to be generous, you are very patient, Wayne."

"It pays to be as good and patient as me, Johnson. I don't just give plane rides to all my favourite spies. Plus you pay the best better get the money, double-crossing. Heard your known for that or just killing straight off." Another reason to persuade Vision to target London, the British are aggravating.

Exhibit B-Wayne.

Sure not all British act the same but the ones she's met are worse than she'd expected, and well she is wanted by the British government. All to say is Hydra doesn't like the current Queen of England and a job 'well done' caused a rip that is now a wanted target on her back. But she would die at a bottom of a cliff before she admits to thanking Stark to get rid of the blinking red target on her back.

“But…I’m gonna need the cash love.”

Exhibit C-Very fucking annoying

“Ugh, fine.” Rolling her eyes as she made her way up the tarmac heading towards the plane, “My bag of weapons is stored on the plane, each fully loaded and new. Top of the rage and fully sharped knives plus I’ll pay for a night in any hotel you want in Scotland within the space we arrive in. Deal?” The weather picked up making her pull her coast around her more, waiting for Wayne to pick was becoming the bane of her life ever since she picked him for business. Younger yet older than her, he was still a ‘Teen’ in her eyes.

Taking an obscenely long time to agree with her, not like she would have made it a choice he could back from, “Well I guess new weapons sell for a lot, especially among our people And any hotel sounds great sooooo, deal.” He clasped his hand in her own, signifying that the deal was done.

As they walked up the tar, Pietro had taken to talk aimlessly to Wayne who was just as happy to ramble straight back. Bitting down on her cheek as she steadied herself because she woke up and was dragged from her bed intending to leave the country but she would have had different plans that didn’t consist of paying a British man to get them out of America in a few hours.

“Are you alright, Love?” Wanda looked at her, green doe eyes that pulled her in. Wrapping an arm around her waist Wanda leaned in, “I don’t want you to leave. I can’t lose you.”

Daisy pitied Wanda less than she loved her, but Wanda made sure that anyone that was even nice to her wouldn’t leave. She fed off the kindness like a drug, and Daisy knew the feeling all too well. Unlike her twin, who was more arrogant and social, she depends on people and tries to make them like her so she wouldn’t be hurt again.

Stopping in their tracks letting her cold air nip at their features, Daisy looked at Wanda with remorse, “I won’t leave you, Wanda, I never will. Not now.” Daisy counted herself not to be the best reassurance but even Still wanda wrapped her arms around her neck as Daisy nuzzled into Wanda's mass of curls.

Maybe finally they can live a life together, away from violence and Heros. Be the better person than who they once were.
