Chapter 25
Cold clamped around her wrists as she struggled awake, bleary eyes as she felt a sharp pang in her neck rendering her useless when she watched her ankles being bound together. No point fighting now, they were going to kill her she was very sure of it.
Trying to keep every hallway in mind as they passed through many doors became very familiar. Of course, they brought her here. The easiest place that she remembered was each corner. It dawned on her that they were planning to wipe her mind if not kill her. But then why wipe her mind if they can control her so easily?
Trying to listen to the conversation the guards were talking about proved a hard task as they spoke in a foreign language that she hasn't learnt yet despite knowing thirty. All she was able to make out was a hand full of words such as 'Stone, Whitehall, Shield, Power, funny.'
They dragged her around until being thrown into a stolen room. Pressure in the neck was and a very small amount of vibrations rushed towards her. The room held a violet light that had drawn her eyes to the source of it.
Her breath caught in her mouth as she looked transfixed at the stone. It was ethereal as it stood powerful against the bleak greys of the new cell. Instantly feeling drawn into the power of the stone made her stand with a thought as she moved closer to it.
"Beautiful isn't it," Whitehall's cold voice broke her out of the trance-like state as he came through the speakers. "Go on touch it, Touch it, Daisy." He was demanding her now.
She remembered everything that happened when Wanda touched a similar thing, she passed out and then was sent straight to experimentation so no doubt it would happen to her. It almost made her not want to touch it.
Even so, every cell seems to move her till she was eye to eye with this stone. Reaching a tentative finger to brush against the shining surface of the stone before being interrupted she felt surges of power erupt into her. The feeling of her body being tossed out of her body and thrown into space was so surreal that made her feel like maybe this was death. Everything was in an endless hole of ebony with no feelings as nothing seemed to be everything.
Her eyes seems to be watching everything at ten times speed as space rushed through her vision. The multiple colours of the cosmos seemed so close yet so far away. Two figures that seemed to be made of the universe stood in the midst of it all, surrounded by chaos as shouts and screams erupted around her and them. A never-ending pit of cosmic fire was swirling around, ghost-like before morphing into a shape of an animal.
Darkness swept over them as she spectated everything turning into pits of lava and an undead figure with moulting features walked around. There were very few peeling faces of zombie-like creatures that were shown to her like Tony, Pietro, and Phil. It deeply disturbed her by seeing some of the people she deeply cared about in the shapes of lifeless beings, yet she wasn't so sure where she stood with Tony now.
The rush of colour and starts against the ink black made her feel a sense of completion, no one has seen what she had before no one except Wanda. It was truly fascinating how much power one person can feel while in so much pain.
It was like being shot back into her body when feeling like her life was being ripped out of her. Her breathing was slow and ragged as she tried to breathe. Blacks clouded her vision which looked like the space she had just seen. Feeling like her whole body was on fire as every cell seemed to rearrange. She screamed in pain as she collapsed against the solid floor. Yet even a single fall echoed through her like a voice in an open room as waves of vibrations shocked her like nothing else.
Just as she thought she was on the brink of death power surrounded her like a cloud. The world around her felt amplified, she could feel everything. It was like everything at once. The rushing waters of the sea, trembling of the earth, dark lava deep down, raging storms and the heat of summer. The collar around her turned to dust at a mere thought she stood with the loud blaring of an alarm.
Focusing on where the sound emoted from and turned it off. Taking a Deep breath as she slowed herself and fell to her hands and knees. She hadn't died yet made it though with great pain and lived. Everything around her was louder than ever as she heard the rushing of blood in her ears.
Shouts sounded from outside the cell before a large amount of Hydra busted in to see what had just happened. They shouted in Chinese at her which she took to waste in translating. Letting the newfound power into the floor of the cell and each agent. Smiling as she watched as each one's life was being stolen and given to her. Absorbing each vibration at a time caused no amount of exhaustion.
Standing up among the dead bodies as more people raged closer with fast-beating hearts. Everything felt clear like she was free. It was now that this is what it felt like to not be controlled anymore. Her thoughts were loud now that they weren't blocked anymore. Lifting a hand the first person that rushed in with a gun had turned to dust among the rest.
Letting out a controlled ball of power proved harder now that she didn't know what had happened to her yet it came out as a shock. Instead of the usually invisible nature of her powers or the red intertwined with a sort of force, it was now a deep violet with small flicks of crimson that looked like fire against a night sky. Now she was inspired to once and for all break free of Hydra's grasp as more agents flooded the room to be shot back and hit the floor as each bone shattered with each step. Heads and hearts exploding underneath the heavy armour or being flung at a wall with incredible strength that it killed on impact.
Stepping over the body while wiping her hands on the same suit she was kidnapped in. Sneering at the bloody train down the front. Her socked feet her cold blood seeped through the material making it uncomfortable to walk in.
Spreading out her power around her base she noticed everything and anyone In it was now dead. Letting out a shot of anger after Whitehall had left when pouring agents her way. It wasn't hard to find the opening to the door swing it was her place, to begin with.
As soon as she was outside though she was met with a tremendous amount of noise. It pained her as she could hear everything louder now and feel everything. Falling to the ground with her hands over her ears to try and get the lasting sound out but not only still hear it but also feel it in her hand and brain.
Her powers were recklessly let loose as she broke down the heavy weight of sensory overload filling each of her senses of sound and feel. Letting out a pained scream ignoring everything around her as she let loose.
After a minute she stood up on shaking legs only to collapse a second later. Everything around her was rubble as she lay in the midst of it all. Blood coated her hands and clothes as the broken bodies lay underneath heavy rocks. The world was spinning as she tried to focus on the singular beats of her heart. Taking deep breaths as she found the will in her to finally stand up.
Stumbling forward on each upturned rock and onto the wet grass that surrounded her. All she just wanted to do was be back in the safety of Wanda's arms, warm and with no worries. But yet unknown powers surged through her veins as everything around her seemed to draw her attention making her believe that she had fully gone made.
Her gave was purely focused on the deep energy that intertwined with her fingers as she pumped more out. She hadn't noticed people were behind her until they started to talk.
"Daisy Johnson, what has happened to you has never been done before. You have touched an ancient stone capable of ripping apart plants and we require you to come with us for your and others' safety."
The world around her began to feel more dimmed out as she put her hands to protect herself from the new arrivals. The speaker she presumed was the tallest male wearing an odd-looking cloak with navy robes that looked like something out of a comic book. Next to him was a shorter man with muted brown clothes who looked at her with a side-eye.
"Look, I dunno who you are but I know for sure I'm not letting you kidnap me. I've just been kidnapped and destroyed the base after a small breakdown. The Avengers should be here soon enough and I'm can leave. I don't even know who you are." Even if her reason wasn't the most convincing and these men appeared out of nowhere and knew what she touched and her name which was enough for her to be concerned for her well-being.
"Doctor Stephen Strange and Wong. Sorcerers of Kama Taj and keeper of the Time stone stationed at the New York Santorum."
Daisy tilted her head as she looked towards the one who called himself Stephen, but not at him but rather at the necklace that he wore. She could feel it like a strong heartbeat yet unlike the stone she had just encouraged it felt like it was in reverse was any way to describe it.
"The thing around your neck, I feel it. Why is that?" Daisy felt as though she needed to hold it in her hands and finds the missing parts that they were so desperately reaching out for.
"You can feel it?" Wing asked as he took a slightly defensive stance which made her step back not wanting to hurt the people but she will if they attack. She was too tired be messing with some wizards that asked questions.
"This is why we need to take you in, it wouldn't be kidnapping if you willingly come with us. Wong will stay here and bring in one of the Avengers if you like. You want to find out more and you are hurt." Stephen looked at her with dark blue eyes as he rubbed his beard which was similar to Tony's. She chuckled as she thought about the two getting along, she knew a narcissist when she sees one.
"We are breaking the rules by letting an insider in but two. We can't allow it Strange." Wong whispered loudly while he kept looking at her like she was something far more dangerous than she is. The two shared a conversation that she was too wary to try and make out. She was struggling to stand and her leg didn't make it much better.
Reaching a hand around her side a small cramp crept around to reveal her hand being slicked with silken crimson. Panic buried deep inside her if she hadn't died yet then this was the perfect time to do so. The doctor 'was he even a doctor?' Daisy asked herself was walking closer to her which put her guard up despite losing blood.
"We're not here to hurt you, just to keep you safe until we find out why you caused a ruckus around multiple countries and everyone will want you locked up. It's better that you come with us for now until it has died down." Stephen ran a hand through his black and white streaked hair before waving his hand in a circular motion.
Her eyes widened slightly when a Portal that looked to be made out of orange sparks showed a courtyard on the opposite side. 'They could easily kidnap her and take advantage of her weakened state' came the paranoid part of her mind. With a rash decision to step forward as she limped forward toward the man. She had changed, going willingly to people she didn't know and can create portals but then she did gain something out of a stone.
Daisy could feel Strange grip her shoulders when she reached him, "You need to get checked out." Before leading her into the portal. After one last look at the bloody rocks of the first place, she could never really call home as she signed her fate with the sorcerers.

Wanda despite having nothing wrong with her could feel her life being dragged out of her and knew from that feeling that Daisy was dying of sorts. Yet argued against Clint and her Twin to let her on the jets to collect Daisy. After a while, I felt Ill but glad as Daisy is intact, not dead but in tons of pain.
She watched Vision as he reached up to the stone that powered him and brushed his fingers against it. He was assessing something concluded Wanda as the android looked deep in thought for a thing that was only semi-conciseness.
It was only the bond between them that kept her on stable ground, it was enough to tell her that Daisy was Alive but now agitated with something. Tapping her boot against the floor creating a ripple in the silence that was too tense not to. Energy brimmed at the surface of her fingers as she tried to concentrate on the passing crystal blues of the sea below them.
“I can feel it, the stone.” Vision sat next to her with the same ridged posture as always, “When it came to earth at least and left after the power surge. I haven’t felt anything like that before. Being connected to one of these for a split second was any over words, Strange.” Visions side on gaze looked at her as she remained quiet.
“I can sense you and your twin because you were unlocked by the very same thing that powers me. You are scared and worried. No need to be Ms Johnson is in safe hands now.”
Wanda hadn’t noticed they had arrived only to see Vision clipping her back up as they started to descend. Maybe Wanda needed to calm down but she couldn’t stop fidgeting in the plastic seats itching to leave the jet already.
She had practically jumped out of her seat after unknowingly undid the buckle with her powers as the cargo hold opened to the small smell of fire. She spotted Coulson soon after standing informs on his jet with S.H.I.E.L.D. She gave the man a small smile but went her way towards a pile of rubble and an unknown man in brown clothing that looks decades out of fashion.
The rest of the Avengers came behind her as they all spoke to the guy at once, bombarding him with questions.
“Listen, your girl is with my partner at Kamar Taj, a place for sorcerers. We noticed the huge power surge like you must have done and took her in willingly for her safety. Strange did allow one over the person to join her for reasons I don’t understand and let’s slide for now. Who is it, we need to get back.?”
This guy was impatient and quite angry. It was possibly because this man had been out here since everything that took place an hour ago. All eyes seemed to lay on Wanda giving knowing looks. It would be quite obvious who Daisy would want around.
“Feel free to take advantage of the time slot, I can only keep the government at bay for so long. Let’s hope you have a good excuse,” The man turned from the Avengers and to her. Assessing her with dark judging eyes, “Hurry up, you won’t need anything. Kamar Taj will provide you.” And just in a flicker of golden sparks was what looked like to be a portal to an ancient library.
After one long bone-crushing hug with Pietro and short bidding with Avengers, she was off into a whole different world.
