Note
~Daisy/Skye was raised as Hydra ~everything is still the same till s1 which I will write about in the prologue.~Daisy/Skye does have her powers and had them the whole time.~ I have seen AoS once and half times so I remember the basics but as much a I like canon which will be for the basic 'plot' but i will be making up stuff.~ all ages the same but Skye/Daisy will be a bit younger then her age in the film(25-26) at the being of the show.~ I'm basing Skye/Daisy by her looks in the comics, like the with the pixie cut.~don't expect much, plus the story will probably move quickly as I can't write any filler chapters for life.

Chapter 18

Pale pinks and yellows peaked through the lazy shit curtains as dawn made its way over New York City. Early risers all around awoke ready for the day ahead. The same could be said for one particular individual that lay still unable to move almost scared to wake the sleeping woman next to her.

Daisy didn't believe it when she woke, a heaviness resting on her shoulder and the long dark hair tickling her cheek. The smell of alcohol and the perfume of both ladies lingered around them. Wanda's soft breath removed the silence from the room which would often hang in the air.

The clock next to her read six in the morning. Rubbing her free hand over her face after realizing she woke up earlier than she ever had. Even so, it seemed she had one of the best periods of sleep she had gotten in a while. Knowing she had to move sooner or later Daisy removed her left arm that was hugging Wanda's waist.

Like always she has never gotten the hangover like most but the horrible aftertaste of the alcohol still was there almost like a reminder. Each day was the same as it had been for years no matter where she was. Unless you count being kidnapped a few times but they don't last longer than a few days at least.

When brushing her teeth movement in the next room was the only signal she needed to tell her that Wanda was awake. After Finishing up Daisy went to see what Wanda was up to. She was lying in the bed tho looking directly at Daisy.

"I never thought I would sleep with someone who has a gun and a knife under their pillow."

She swift pulled out the fully loaded pistol with a simple dagger eyeing the weapons with a small annoyance. That is when Daisy remembered that Wanda had slept on the side that she normally sleeps on and wasn't used to the shapes under the pillow. Even with the train, Wanda has received from Natasha she was still weary with weapons.

Just as Daisy was about to ask Wanda about the night before a small alarm went off throughout the compound signifying that they had a mission. Every Avenger that was scattered around or even sleeping walked towards the conference room to Nick Fury and Maria Hill.

The first thing Daisy noticed was that Maria had gotten a haircut, how had she not noticed this last night. Only it was styled not much shorter than her hair. She gave it a nod of approval while walking to the small snack table.

Clint, much to her annoyance, had decided not to pour a cup of coffee he decided to drink it straight from the pot instead. When she snatched it out of his hands Clint gave her the fakest puppy dog eyes she'd ever seen.

"I was drinking that." He wined. It was still unbelievable to her that this man has three children and a wife. 'His poor wife's, was internally said to herself. Once everybody had arrived the meeting started with Tony moaning.

"Why do we have to wake up so early?" He was dramatic clutching his forehead and wearing a pair of sunglass. Not the best day to be hungover.

Ignoring Tony, Fury started, "We have been recently Tracking the movements of Brock Rumlow. He wants to steal a vial that contains a deadly, highly infectious virus."

"And where would we find Rumlow?" Daisy asked. She remembered the guy from her Hydra days and each meeting made her even less keen on the guy. There was even one time he had tried to hit on her, it didn't end well for him.

"Lagos, Nigeria. I want Rogers, Agents Johnson and Romanoff to be accompanied by the female Maximoff and the Falcon on this mission. we need to move in silently and fast. I do not want to find out what will happen if this virus is let loose."

Wanda looked at Fury in a wired expression very obvious to not likely the nickname ‘The female Maximoff’ not like Fury cared.

The five went off the suit up it appeared to be some want in their favour to hold a party last night as Sam Wilson had joined but ended up slumped limply over a sofa in the early morning. He seemed to have sobered up as soon as he was told he was on a mission.

The plan was easy enough. Natasha and Wanda are disguised at a nearby cafe, surveilling the area for dangers. Sam would take the higher ground using his tech to look in on suspicious-looking vehicles. Lastly, Daisy was with Steve in the building readying for an attack and to come in easily.

This was Wanda’s first ever big mission she played with her fingers when the jet was being prepped. Her eyes did not focus on a select point and the butting of her lip could easily be recognised by anyone.

“You’ll be alright.” Daisy slid up behind her as she draped her arms around her shoulders. Her fingers ran through Wanda’s impossibly soft curly hair twirling a few strands around her slender fingers.

“But what if I accidentally hurt an innocent civilians with my powers. I don’t think it’s safe.” Wanda’s green eyes grew big with worry. Wanda had great confidence when hurting anyone she deemed bad, that was Hydra's fault. Wanda was easy to read despite everything she had been through, and Daisy was glad she didn’t crack under the pressure as she had before. She was uncertain as she looked down at the red energy that woven itself around each finger like wild vines.

“I’m not great a reassuring people but you’ll be fine all you need to do is the focus. Like your yoga but without the poses and calm surroundings.”

She laughed at the odd way of attempting to calm Wanda’s nerves and it seemed to work as her painted lips cracked into a small smile.

With one last goodbye to the group, they were off to the sunny heat of Lagos. And hopes not to destroy the area like what happens on every Avengers mission.
