Peter Parker Pov
"Mr Stark!! Mr Stark!! Happy!! anyone? cmon someone open up its me Peter you know one of you guys?" I kept frantically calling knocking at the entrance to Stark towers , keep being met with the same "Access Denied" response from Jarvis , no one on the ground floor I sighed pulling out my phone about to call Tony he warned before only to call if it was an emergency which this was , I hadn't heard from Y/N in days , she hasn't answered any of my calls or texts I can't stop worrying so I had to come here , just as I dialed , muttering repeated "come on's" as I did so I heard the chime of the elevator ringing in my ear before hearing the rasp tone of Tony Stark speak up "Awfully loud kid a simple text would've sufficed" I gasped hanging up running over "Mr Stark Mr Stark , oh my gosh I'm so sorry to barge in and come unannounced but I didn't know what else to do or where else to go and I couldn't get a hold of anyone so I panicked and just-" he quickly cut across me "Woah Woah Woah slow down kid , I get it you needed to see me , come on , follow me" with that he briskly led me to the elevator and we headed up , I spoke up after a brief moment of silence "Mr Stark about why I came where is Y/N , is she okay I haven't heard from her in days is she here?" for once he didn't cut me off from my rambling instead he remained silent for a moment before letting out a sigh just as the doors opened to the top floor he exited walking over to the bar , "We were attacked. Few days ago." he said bluntly whilst pouring himself a drink "A Attacked? was anyone hurt , Y/n , Y/n is she alright who attacked!?" he once again sighed "Kid you remember last year what happened in New York." I thought about it for a second "Thor's brother attacked the city and took control of hawkeye" , he nodded and continued "Well Loki blames me mostly for his defeat and attacked out of nowhere , he must've been planning his move a long time to be able to pull it off , he almost killed me , Jarvis was offline I had no tricks to pull but" for the first time I saw Mr Stark hesitate my stomach sank my head flooding with thoughts of what must've happened , "Y/n.. stepped in , I told her to run I told her to get away but she.. she takes after me too much , she bargained with Loki to let me live and in return , he took her."
My Jaw hit the floor hearing him finish , a moment of silence as my eyes welled up with tears "no no no no no no Y/n.. why didn't you tell me!!? this this was days ago a and you didn't think to tell me I'm her best friend! , o oh god oh god what if she's dead , hurt scared , we have to save her!! , where are the others are they looking please I have to know!" I never have lashed out like this before at M Stark but I couldn't help it she's my best friend her Ned and MJ they're my world , expecting Stark to snap at me I backed up a bit , he didn't , he didn't yell he didn't move he looked down "Honestly kid , I was hoping to have her back by now , and telling you wasn't top priority , I'm.. sorry I know how close you both are but there isn't anything you can do she's on another planet."
My eyes widened for a second "A Another planet ? how do you know that" he rolled his eyes in response knocking back a shot before muttering "Thor , Parker , he knows exactly where she is and before you say it he can't just magic her back ,some crap bout deals with gods and preventing a war , Loki has an army that right now we can't bet fighting if we interfere with the arrangement , it'll be fair game he could hurt her , Thor was given Loki's word he won't hurt her but even you should be smart enough to know Loki and honesty don't often go together , so far Thor managed to get a compromise from him , he will allow Thor to see her once a week to ensure she's safe , but thats as far as we got , everyone else has been staying here for the time being gathering resources incase this ends in war , which I will resort to if I have to , but right now we're waiting on Thor to come back from Jotunheim , planet Loki is on with her , now you're up to speed"
It took a moment for me to process all of that , I was shocked , scared , upset but right now I have to hold that in and work with the avengers for Y/ns sake , "The others , Captain , Romanoff , Banner-" he cut me off "All here" he gestured to another room where through the glass doors I could see them congregating around a table talking , I followed Mr Stark into the room looking at everyone , I instantly felt intimidated seeing everyone all much stronger then me "um hi , everyone" , at that moment they all turned to me Banner was the first to speak up "Peter hey long time no see" I smiled softly "Hey Dr Banner" after a quick greeting with the others , everyone returned to each their conversations , I struggled to try join any of them everyone speaking over each other , during my futile attempts to get someone's attention to add anything or ideas , a load bang suddenly silenced everyone , Mr Stark immediately recognized the sound and rushed to the balcony Ms Potts soon joining him , no one said anything for a long moment.
Suddenly the booming voice of Thor broke the silence as he strutted in hammer in hand "Hello my friends!" admittedly I have never met Thor so meeting him under these circumstances definitely wasn't ideal but still , Stark was already shooting questions "How is she Pointbreak, is she okay , what happened" , Thor backed up placing a hand on Tony's shoulder "Stark , she is alright , Loki has not hurt her , she's completely fine , well fed , comfortable , for once my brother has kept his word her conditions are that of royalty " Pepper let out a sigh of relief hugging Tony , he returned , relishing the moment of slight relief , Thor smiled at them both before pulling out a letter from his pocket "She wrote this for you both , both of them looked at it with expressions of fear , relief , happiness and wariness , after a moment they both left the room to read it in private , Thor watched as they left returning to the rest of us I built up the nerve to speak up "H Hi Mr Thor god er , I'm Peter Parker Spiderman nice to meet you , um y/n is my friend so uh you've seen her she's definitely okay she isn't scared" he chuckled hearing me before patting my shoulder which kinda hurt to be honest "Hello Peter Tony mentioned you, It is a pleasure to meet you my friend , as for lady y/n I assure you she is safe , my brother has not hurt her however I fear she isn't telling me something , I asked did she know of his intentions with her and she said she didn't but she paused , does she usually do that ? you would know her better then I" I smiled at the acknowledgment before thinking about the question "Well now that you mention it she usually doesn't hesitate and sometimes does when she's thinking about something" he nodded in response unsure of what to add "At the very least now we have confirmation she is safe , honestly I barely recognized her at first , Asgardian clothing is quite different then Midgardian." I heard Y/n mention Asgard before , from what she told me she heard , it sounds amazing.
Captain America soon spoke up "As good as it is to know she is safe we still can't rest idly by while he has her , she is safe for now but we still need to get her home as soon as possible". I frowned at that , a major damper on the reassurance Thor just gave , Thor responded sharply "Now Rogers we all know getting her home is of the upmost importance but I assure you he wont hurt her , for one I saw the way he looked at her , It's hard to explain but he is my brother , he won't harm her , my hunch aside its not in his benefit to lay a hand on her" Steve didn't respond instead remained arms folded , frustrated by the situation.
After a few minutes of debate among the group everyone taking sides about how to approach the situation some agreeing with Thor to stick with the current arrangement such as Thor and Banner and others suck as Steve and Clint who wish to attack as soon as possible while Natasha remained in between agreeing with neither , coming in to break the squabbling Mr Stark came in letter in hand Pepper following with a look of worry , Mr Stark gripping the letter tightly broke the newly found silence , but what he said made my stomach sink.
"I have a plan , we kill Loki"

Y/N pov
Meanwhile on Jotunheim , I stayed alone in my room surrounded by books , weeping looking down at the letter my parents wrote to me , my hands trembling , tear drops gracefully landing on the paper , the thoughts once again creeping into my mind , the thought of never seeing them again , never feeling the warmth of my mother and fathers embrace again , I tried to stay quiet as not to alert Elise or heavens forbid Loki , I've been trying so hard to hold it in , to stay strong , to not be afraid of what lies ahead but I just can't , I wanna go home.. , I clutched the toy Thor gave me from my childhood years close as I wept , unbeknownst to me , my cries weren't as quiet as I forethought.

Just outside the room Loki could hear her tears , a feeling foreign to him set in , guilt? maybe but he didn't regret his choice to take her , this company has been so strange to him , its made him feel almost happy like he no longer was isolated on this planet , hearing her tears caused something to stur in him , he wanted to make her stop , he wanted to see her smile , in his mind his reasoning is slowly changing , his plan initially to destroy Tony , to hurt him but now , he doesn't entirely want solely Starks daughter as vengence he wants her for himself , for her to want to stay with him , were his intentions good , not quite his motive was still selfish , he could care less of Stark and the avengers worry for her , he wants her happiness solely for his own personal gain , yet still , these emotions were so new to him , a step in a good or bad direction he didn't know yet but for now he just wants to see her smile. He sighed not knowing what to do with this , he thought for a moment before deciding to intervene.

Hearing the knock at the door snapped me out of my intrusive thoughts I quickly stuffed the letter under my pillow for the time being and brushed the tears away in vain , and muttered a quiet "come in" , I saw him walk in shutting the door behind him he looked unsure for a moment before speaking up "Pardon the sudden intrusion my dear but I came to ask would you join me for a short while , nothing malice I assure you." I looked back at him with uncertainty momentarily his faint smile wavered slightly "I promise nothing sinister" he then reached out his hand to me, I looked him over for a moment before hesitantly taking it rising from the bed he gave a faint smile before leading me out of the room , he led me through sets of halls throughout the palace , passing numerous paintings and regal architecture that up till now I barely took notice of , I gazed up at the blazing candles that lit the halls , Loki soon interrupted my admiration of the interior by clearing his throat I turned to him waiting to hear his response "Now what I'm about to show you may seem rather .. strange it might be startling but all I ask of you is to trust me for just a moment." That description had me worried in all honesty but hesitantly I nodded and watched as he opened the door peeking behind him before following his lead inside.
As we walked in we were greeted to a completely empty rooms a the walls a light colour , the room had four pillars surrounding a few dim candles lighting the room I looked around in confusion before turning back to Loki with a confused expression "Loki.. what is this?" he let go of my hand and looked around for a moment , "Please trust me darling , now please don't be afraid you're safe here with me , I ask that you close your eyes for just a second , I promise I won't hurt you" I looked at him with concern for a second , he noticed and took a step back "I swear , I just wish to show you something" I thought about it for a second before turning away looking at the room before shutting my eyes , from behind me I felt him place his hand on my shoulder.
Loki rom behind me suddenly extended his other arm out his hand being surrounded in a emerald green mist as he channeled his power , he took a breath before closing his own eyes , and after a short moment the room began to change , slowly the room morphed into a beautiful scenic garden filled with flowers blue skies , a gazebo in the center , a waterfall running down into a lake , the sounds of birds chirping rung in my ears , after a moment he whispered to me "Open your eyes.." with that I opened my eyes before letting out a gasp seeing the once empty room now this bright beautiful place so different to the dark icy landscape of Jotunheim all I could do was muster a incoherent sentence "H How , it's not possible , w where " he chuckled from behind me walking around "As well as being a god of mischief , I also am quite skilled in illusions , I use this place to channel my power , I can make this place into whatever I desire , or whatever you desire" he smiled lightly , I was awestruck "So none of this is real ?" I walked around looking at my surroundings , I knelt down touching the flowers on the ground lightly "But I can fee it" his smile was shaky for a moment "Well manifesting physical objects to touch takes a fair amount of power but yes this is all ana illusion , I had hoped a place like this may remind you of your home on Midgard , I do hope you like it" I was shocked it took a moment to adjust it had been been a while since I saw anything resembling home "You.. made all this for me? why?" I turned to him in confusion he frowned for a moment "Well Jotunheim is far from picturesque , and I can only imagine you must be feeling home sick so I had hoped this may cheer you up" , he wanted to cheer me up? , does that mean he cares? , it was beginning to click , he might not be all bad , he wants to go out of his way to make me feel happy , but why? I couldn't figure it out but regardless of why this gesture made me feel happy , Loki.. why are you going out of your way for me? , I turned to him with a small smile "Thank you..." , the look he gave me was a look he neve showed me before it wasn't mischievous , wasn't anger , it was this look of genuine surprise at my own expression along with a smile , he honestly had the look of a child who had just gotten the highest praise imaginable , that look , how was this the same person who attacked New York , he seemed so kind , nothing like the Loki I met initially.
He continued "I can also make this place appear as anywhere in Midgard if you desire .. so if you ever want to spend some time here , I would only be happy to." I smiled at that , warming up to this side of Loki. "I'd like that I .. really miss home" I looked away before walking over to the lake looking down at the water , he followed behind me a hesitant expression unsure of how to respond to that , "Darling I promise you I will do everything in my power to make your stay here pleasant , I understand you " he chuckled momentarily "must despise me" , not tearing my gaze away from the water I paused "I don't .. despise you Loki" , even though I should.. , he almost killed my dad why don't I hate him ? , he looked at me with a confused gaze "You truly are a intriguing Midgardian Ms Stark." , I smiled slightly slightly at that , he soon extended his hand to me and turned to me "You know Darling you truly are rather enchanting to the eye , would you perhaps care for a dance?" he grinned at me , "Dance? I don't think your version of dance and mine are the same" he laughed at that "It's simple.. let me show you" after hesitating I took his hand he smiled in response before raising his free hand snapping his fingers and the garden faded away only to reform as a picturesque ballroom candle lit , a chandelier hanging above us both , music being played behind us , he looked down at me placing a hand on my waist whilst he gently held my raised hand , unsure how to approach this I placed my other hand on his shoulder , he smiled in response before whispering "Follow my lead.." with that we both began to move about the room his movements slow and gentle , funnily enough it was easy , it came rather easy , I don't know why but for some strange reason I felt safe here , safe with him, this moment was peaceful , for the first time in a while I felt at ease , during all this I ended up subconsciously drifting my head onto his shoulder , he smiled above , it was moments like this that I wished could last forever.

After our dance came to a finish we exited the room Loki looking ever so slightly tired after using a fair amount of his power to conjure the ballroom and garden , I glanced at him unsure what to say I hesitated "This was.. nice , really" he seemed a little surprised by that but he brushed it off with a laugh "Glad you thought so , I suppose it was quite nice I'm glad you're finding things a bit more comfortable here , I nodded , that statement getting me thinking a little , he really isn't that bad , when I thought of New York's attack from his perspective it wasn't nearly as frightening and malice as it seemed initially , he turned to me after a moment a look of hesitance on his face he looked almost fearful "I'm afraid I must go for awhile my dear , I look forward to seeing you later for dinner." he smiled before leaning down planting a gentle kiss on my lips , for a blind fleeting second emotions took over and I felt myself kiss him back , before my senses returned screaming at me that what I was doing was wrong that I was betraying family before I could pull away he broke the kiss a slight grin on his face , "Well you are full of surprises aren't you Darling.. see you tonight.." with that he snapped his fingers and was gone.
Following the entire encounter I stood in shock , unsure what to make of everything that just happened , one thought screaming in my mind.
