Failure as a father..
Pacing , Pacing around the room is all he could do , thoughts racing , his inner monologue screaming at him how he failed as a father , failed to protect her , he was useless. He heard Pepper enter room and he couldn't even look her in the eye , he lost their daughter , she frowned "Tony , you shouldn't be pacing you need to heal and calm down so we can think , you can't do anything in the state you're in , the others will be here soon , Nat even found out Jane is in contact with Thor with him on our side we will get her back , you need rest."
Tony sighed her words not able to soothe his worry , "Pep you don't get it I failed her , he ripped her away from me and I did nothing , who knows what he could be doing to her , he could have even killed her she could be dead now and I'm here doing nothing". Pepper approached him gently wrapping her arms around him hugging him comfortingly , she was just as scared as Tony was if not more so , her eyes welled up with tears , "Tony s she is strong she gets that from you , smarter then we both give her credit for , a and surely if he took her with him then he plans to keep her alive."
Tony sighed holding Pepper close to his chest , "He's using her to get to me , rather then kill me , he's taken one of the most precious things in my life.. who knows how far he's willing to go to get back at me , Pep for years I've protected the world but the moment it really mattered I Failed" . Pepper responded trying to stay calm "Tony no man can be ready to protect the world at any given moment , you didn't fail her , she wanted to protect you " she had a saddened smile "She's so brave , just as noble as you risking it all to protect you" Tony stepped back slamming his fist in the wall "IT WAS MY JOB TO KEEP HER SAFE" he yelled in anguish "She was kept on a low profile her whole life , I took every precaution , but .. it wasn't enough , face it Pepper I've failed her as more then a hero I've failed her as her father"

The Avengers have assembled for a emergency meeting in Stark tower , everyone present being briefed on the situation. Natasha Romanov , Bruce Banner , Steve Rogers , Jane Foster , Clint Barton all present , Jane told them she is still awaiting Thor's arrival.
Everyone was in shock at what had happened , Natasha being your Aunt was enraged , the Avengers all being like family so for a while everyone stood in silence. Tony spoke up breaking the silence , "Let me just say what you're all thinking , I'm a fucking disgrace of a father letting this happen under my watch." Nat introjected with a simple "No. This could've happened to any one of us , Loki had this planned very carefully he doesn't have the strength of Thor but he makes up for it in intelligence." she spoke calmly. "With all do respect Stark you are emotional and not thinking straight , we need to come up with a plan once Thor gets here" before snapping back Tony bit his tongue for once accepting she was right. He sighed walking out whilst leaving stating "I need to think , call me the second Thor arrives." with that he was gone.
Clint frowned nodding before looking at the group , "I've never seen him like this , I can't imagine it" , Steve spoke up his hands on the table , "I hate to be the one to say it but all odds are stacked against us , how are we going to get her back , Loki is banished from Asgard so we have no idea where he could have taken her ." Jane interrupted "Now hang on we can't say anything for certain until we hear from Thor , he knows Loki better then any of us , he is our best chance here" she spoke with hope in he voice
Nat nodded in agreement along with Dr Banner . Suddenly from behind the group a gruff voice cleared their throat and low and behold there stood the god of thunder himself , Thor. He grinned at the group similarly to that of a young child ,
"Someone summoned me?"
