Summary
For the prompt "tired" in the Thorki discord server 5 times Loki sang to Thor and the 1 time Thor sang to him

1.)

Thor was afraid of storms.

It didn't matter that his father said he was destined to be the Góð of Thunder, or that he could spark lightening from his fingers. When the winds roared outside his window louder than a Bilgesnipe, the boy would end up scared out of his wits.

Tonight was no different.

The minute the thunder started, Thor shot up out of bed, and ran across the hall to the one person he felt would keep him safe. Quietly, he opened the door and crept over to the bed. He quickly crawled in next to the sleeping occupant and began shaking them awake.

"Loki!Loki!"

"Hmm...wha....Thor what are you doing in here?"

At the sight of his brother's tears, all tiredness vanished from Loki's frame.

"Storms again?"

"Uh-huh"

"Come here," Loki whispered as he opened his arms.

Once Thor was snuggled tightly in his embrace, Loki began to sing an old lullaby their mother had taught them.

"I stormsvarte fjell vandrer jeg alene

Over breen tar jeg vei

I eplehagen står jomfermessen

og synger: "Når kommer du hjem?"

But cranes dance and the waterfalls stop when she sings , she sings "Come home " When she sings , she sings" Come home "

When he finished the song, Loki looked down to see that Thor was fast asleep. He placed a gentle kiss on his brother's forehead and snuggled down into the bed, neither boy noticing the storm for the rest of the night.

2.)

Loki was reading one of his spell books in the garden when Thor trampled his way in and slumped down next to him.

"I am exhausted."

"Yes, I imagine it must be quite tiring acting like a lumbering oaf all day."

"Hey! Some of us have to train with weapons. We can't all be gifted with magical prowess and a silvertongue,Loki."

The mage looked up from his book with a mischievous grin.

"Did the mighty Thunder Góð finally admit I'm superior to him?"

"Haha very funny, now move that leatherbound monstrosity so I can lay down."

Loki sat the tome to the side so Thor could lean over and put his head in his lap. For awhile neither of them spoke...they simply enjoyed the soft breeze while the younger man ran his fingers through the elder one's hair.

"Loki?"

"Hmm?"

"Can you sing to me?"

"I suppose I could be obliged," he said as he continued combing Thor's golden tresses," anything in particular?"

"Something happy perhaps."

"Very well..."

He conjured a lute with his magic and began to sing along with its whimsical tune.

"Dreamed me a dream last night

About silk and honest pole,

Wore a suit so light and smooth

In the radiance of the sunset

Now the clear morning wakes up

To the group of young people I went to,

I was drawn to singing and dancing.

Comfortingly, I met his gaze

And put my hand in his

All the others on us looked,

They smiled and they laughed.

Soon the dance came to a complete halt,

Only the two of us danced there."

Thor began snoring loudly, so Loki vanished the instrument, leaned back, and closed his eyes....content to rest along with his brother.

3)

"All hail the future King of Ásgarð!"

"HUZZAH!"

Thor, Sif, and the warriors three were all jubilant as they celebrated a successful hunt at the local tavern. The Thunderer was enjoying all of the shouting and mead until he noticed Loki sitting in a corner all alone. With a somewhat unsteady gait, he sauntered over to where his brother sat and threw an arm around his shoulder.

"Come brother, sing us a song!"

"I really don't think—"

"Please Loki?"

"Oh very well," he said with a fond eyeroll," It's not as if I can ever say no to you anyway."

Thor summoned lightning outside, signaling everyone to go quiet. Loki took a deep breath, then let it out and began his song.

"See them gathered on the plains now

See an army strong and vast

As long as one of us remains here

None of them will ever pass

Here they come so raise the shields high

Like wolves they show their teeth

None of us will ever yield now

To the scavengers beneath

We're outnumbered ten to one here

Still, I love the odds

We will sacrifice them one by one

Send them off to the gods

Soon we will be gone

A free will sacrifice

As free men we are born

And free we shall die

Here they come ten thousand strong

Charging up the hill

This day will be both hard and long

They move in for the kill

Hold the line don't let it break

Use your sword and spear

A glory death, for all awaits

All who knows no fear

Hordes of men they hit the shields

Like waves they break away

We face our woven destiny

And we don't fear the grave

Soon we will be gone

A free will sacrifice

As free men we are born

And free we shall die

When he finished, the entire bar erupted in applause. Thor took the opportunity to wrap him up into a tight embrace that lasted far too long and yet not long enough....

For both of them.

4)

"I'm sorry.....for you not getting to go to the funeral. Father wouldn't allow it."

"It was to be expected I suppose," Loki sighed as he stared out at Svartlfhëim's desolated landscape," the old man wouldn't have wanted a monster in attendance."

"You're not a monster, Loki, and despite everything that's happened I still care about you."

"More than her?"

Thor looked over where Jane was laying in the boat, and realized that even with her presence, he felt the same way that he had for centuries.

"Loki...I care about you more than anything else in existence."

Silence fell over the vessel. Loki appeared to be shocked by Thor's confession. However, he quickly schooled his expression into something more neutral and looked away.

"Do you recall that song mother used to sing when we were little? The one about the bear?"

"Vaguely....maybe if you sang a few lines I might remember it."

The mage smiled at how obvious the Thunderer was being, but decided to indulge him anyway.

"Bjørnen sover,

Bjørnen sover,

i sitt lune hi.

Den er ikke farlig,

bare vi går varlig.

Men man kan jo,

men man kan jo,

aldri være TRYGG!

The bear is sleeping,

The bear is sleeping

In its cozy den.

It is not dangerous

If we just go carefully

But then one can,

But then one can

Never be quite sure!"

When the tune ended, the air between between them sizzled with electricity. Thor wanted to say something...anything....but the moment was ruined when Jane started to wake up.

Once this was over, he and Loki definitely needed to talk.

If they lived that long.

5)

"Do you think it's a good idea.....bringing me back to Earth?"

Thor saw the apprehension on Loki's face, the fear that he would once again be rejected.

He wanted that fear banished forever.

"Whether it's a good idea or not is irrelevant. You are my love, my life...the other half of my soul. Only death can force me from your side now...and even it would face a challenge in doing so."

Emerald eyes glistened with joy at his declaration. Without hesitation, they both leaned forward and captured each other's lips in a searing kiss they'd waited a lifetime to have.

After they parted, Thor turned to stare out the viewing window, while Loki leaned against him, quietly singing a song Frigga had once sang to Óðin.

"From Gymir’s house I beheld go forth

a maiden dear to me;

Her arms glittered and from their gleam

shone all the sea and sky.

To me more dear than in days of old

was ever maiden to man;

But no one of gods or elves will grant

that we both together should be."

"Loki please... "

"I'm not your Loki! I never was....."

Thor stared at the man sitting across from him. A 'variant' he called himself, a version of the mage that was ripped out of the timeline during the Avengers quest for the Infinity Stones.

A version that didn't die.

"It doesn't matter where or when you come from, you will always be Loki. You will always be the person I love more than anything else in the universe ...You'll always be mine."

Loki stepped forward just a little, then stopped and shook his head as the tears flowed down his face.

"This was a mistake....I...I never should have come here..."

He turned his back and headed towards the orange doorway he'd come out of prior. Thor knew that if he didn't do something now, he might never get this chance again.

So he started to sing.

"I stormsvarte fjell vandrer jeg alene

Over breen tar jeg vei

I eplehagen står jomfermessen

og synger: "Når kommer du hjem?"

Loki stopped and turned to face him. Approaching slowly, Thor kept up singing until he was close enough to grasp the other's face in his hands.

"Please, elskan mín, won't you come home to me?"

He froze....and for a moment the Thunderer thought he'd failed, when the mage leaned forward and crashed their lips together in a searing kiss. The broke apart for air, and Loki took the opportunity to wrap his arms around his waist and bury his face into his neck.

Things weren't quite the same as before, but that was alright.

His heart was home, and the sun would shine on both of them once again.

But cranes dance and the waterfalls stop when she sings , she sings " Come home " When she sings , she sings " Come home"
