neil is genderfluid and has mentioned it, they just keep forgetting
mike's brother killed himself when mike was 11 and harry (his brother) was 17, since then he's been very protective of his friends and always taken a leadership role to make sure nobody got hurt. he avoids neil because the topic of suicide is so casual to him and it's really serious to mike
