Worried.
— A week later —
Blue and Yellow diamond sat down in their respective chairs, blue for Blue Diamond and yellow for Yellow Diamond. They sat across from each other, the table inbetween them was square table that had the diamond symbol on it. White called both diamonds to a meeting, no reason stated for it. Although, it was painly obvious what the reason for what the meeting was for. After ten minutes of waiting, White finally showed up, in person too. Usually it would just be her talking through her pearl when they had meetings. Presumably, it must be an important situation to discuss if White was actually making an appearance in person for once. “Blue, Yellow.” She sat down in her respective white chair, her chair opposite to the empty pink chair. “I’m sure you've both figured out on what this meeting is about?”
Blue nodded slightly, Yellow sighing before crossing her legs. “How? How is she back, White?” This whole situation just felt so unreal. For both Blue and Yellow, although Yellow is processing it slower than Blue. White knew "Pink" would have returned sooner or later. “Well, Blue can answer that.” Blue turned to White, a confused look morphing onto her face. “Pardon?” “The sphere. The sphere that just so happned to hit me in the face that came out of.. whatever that specimen is.” “A human?” Yellow chimed. “Yes, that. Don’t think I didn't see you, Blue. You should've brought her to me as soon as she reformed. And that form?” Blue stayed silent for a moment. “Her form is.. pretty? I didn't think of coming to you when she reformed. I never even knew that she was in the human at all.” Yellow maintained a blank expression throughout all of this. “Blue, you do realize how much trouble Pink has put us through, correct?”
“Yellow, believe me I know.” She sighed, slouching in her chair a bit, she looked at the ceiling prior to closing her eyes. “Its just... I missed her, so much. I'm aware of all pain she's caused me— that's she's caused us all, but we shouldn't just.. punish her for doing what she did.” Yellow slammed her hands on the table to Blue's words. “Blue, are you getting fooled by her shenanigans? She caused a whole war! She needs to learn her lesson for all the trouble shes caused us. All the gems we've lost for her little fun. This is exactly what we get for giving into her begging– we should have never granted her a colony in the first place.” Yellow crossed her arms. Blue was bewildered at how Yellow was acting. She had thought Steven had gotten through to her, and it couldn't have been an act.
“Yellow.. why are you acting like this? I thought Steven had gotten through to you? You have to understand–” White cut her off before Blue could even finish her sentence. “That’s enough out of the both of you. If you think bickering is going to get us anywhere, your sorely mistaken. We're gonna look the other way... For now. And by look the other way, we're gonna forgive her for this little.. ‘episode’ of hers. We'll release her, assign her a new colony. Pink will only oversee her colony in administration of either of you to make sure she gets no funny ideas. Are we clear?” They both nodded, Yellow rolling her eyes shortly after. “White. With all due respect, after her behavior.. she couldn't get another colony. It's too risky.”
White blinked at Yellow, thinking for a slight minute. “And we already spent so many resources on that miserable planet..” Blue kept quiet, unsure of any of this. Then, a lightblub came into her head. “I suppose we could collect any resources that we can salvage from the kindergartens on the planet. Then destroy it so that Pink can't go back. Easy.” If Blue can supervise "Pink" and help her get back to Earth, she can protect her from the other two and save Earth. “White, I can supervise Pink while shes looking after her colony. I figure that Yellow could have too little time to make sure Pink doesn't do anything..” Blue glanced over at Yellow, who was already staring at her. They shared a moment of eye contact before looking up at the taller diamond. “I.. suppose so. I hope you don't try anything either, Blue.”
Blues lips curled into a smile, she didn't exactly want Yellow watching over Pink. Especially with the way shes acting all of a sudden. “Well, that's all I summoned you both for. We shall throw a gala celebrating the return of Pink. That will be all, you both are dismissed.” Yellow got up first, then Blue. “White, is it alright if I go to free Pink now?” White was already up, about to bubble herself back to her ship. She stood there for a short minute, deciding on if she was certain Pink would have herself controlled by now. “I suppose so. The second she starts trouble- don't be afraid to lock her up again.” White then enveloped herself in a bubble and went back to her ship.

Blue walked to the prison tower, memories of the thousands of times she walked these halls to scold the shorter diamond of her wrongdoings surfaced. It only made her more guilty for how she and the other diamonds treated her. She opened the prison door to Pink slumped against the wall, her head in her knees. Tremendous amounts of guilt washed over her. It wasn't until Blue walked in the room when she finally raised her head up to see who was there. “Blue?” A part of "Pink" was relieved to see the tall diamond. “Listen, Pink-” “Rose. Not Pink.” Being called Pink was just excruciating to Rose. It was like a plague that was everywhere. It was only a matter of time before the Crystal Gems knew that she was Pink Diamond- if they don't know already.
“Right- Rose. Listen, we need to talk. Come.” She gestured Rose to come with her. Rose didn't know about following Blue, but she didn't think that Blue would have done anything to her, considering her behavior towards her since shes been back. It couldn't have gotten any worse than what she had to go through in the cell. It felt like eons being in that cell– she hated it. They entered the room that Blue uses to oversee her colonies. Navy blue with her own personal throne completed with blue bubbled gems floating around the space. There was also a chair with a floating screen, set to show the statueses of her colonies. “White has chosen to forgive you, Pin- Rose. She says that she's salvaging resources from Earth and after doing so- she's going to destroy it.”
Rose's heart dropped. If they're going to destroy Earth; what does that mean for the crystal gems? Greg? Steven? Vidalia? Blue could tell how horrifed Rose was to hear this. “This can't be happening- Didn't you try to change her mind?” “Rose.. I wanted to help you escape to Earth. I just felt.. guilty about-” Rose put her hand up, cutting blue off. “I know- That's a different conversation to have later though. We need to focus on a plan to save Earth.” Blue nodded, wiping a tear away that happened to slip away from her eye. The taller diamond made her way to her chair and sat down, tapping the he diamond password to the screen and looked over all her colonies. “Yellow was acting.. strange. Originally, she was on our side. Steven had helped us realize how cruel we were being..” A small smile appeared on her face. Roses eyes widened. “Really..? I always knew he was gonna turn into something extraordinary.” She looked down at her gem prior to closing her eyes.
Blue looked down at Roses gem- The cutout. “Wait- Rose? Your form.” Rose stared up at Blue, confused. “What about it..? Isn't this fine? You said you liked it before.” Blue pointed to her stomach; the star cutout. The star would have made people think that "Pink Diamond" defied homeworld. Rose just now realized this, hence why Yellow pointed out her form. “Oh- stars.. had I realized that before..” A chuckle escaped her lips. She poofed, but only for a second before reforming. This time, the star cutout wasn't present. It was her new form, just without the cut out. “Better?” Blue smiled, patting her head gently.
