Peter was thinking
‘How could this be possible?’
As he looked down at his red stained underwear and pants, he had some idea of what it was, his mother had mentioned it a little but not enough to know for sure, lost in confusing and not know what to do he jumped slightly when he heard a bang on the door
“What’d ya do boy, fall in?”
It was yondu, Peter panicked
“No!-i- um be out ina secon’”
He said, he didn’t know what do do so he shoved a wad of toilet paper down his underwear and hope it would stop it and wrapped his flannel around his waist
When he stepped out yondu was standing outside of the bathroom and looked at Peter with a questioning look
“What’d were ya’ doin’ in there for so lon’?”
Yondu asked, his arms crossed
“I- um”
Peter throat closed up and tears threaten to pull into his eyes, he had no idea what to do, he was scared
“Calm down boy, whas got ya so rounded up?”
He bent down to peters level and put his hand on his shoulder, fear waved off Peter like a thick aroma
“I’m bleedin’”
He said, tears finally spilling down his cheeks
“Bleedin’?”
He replied, confused, he didn’t see no blood in the boy
“Down there”
Peter said with a hiccuped whine, he covered his face with his hands
Yondu threaded his eyebrows, confused, he looked down to where Peter was indicating and saw the mass of red that was spreading past the flannel
“Oh Pete this here is normal for ya terrans”
Yondu said, relieved it was nothing life threatening was happing
Peter looked up with water eyes
“It’s..normal?”
He said, wiping away his tears, yondu nodded and stood up
“Yes, I don’ know much bout’ it but I know it’s normal, is just because of the parts ya got, nothin’ ya can do ta stop it nether”
He said, Peter looked at him with wide, scared eyes
“But there stuff to keep it for ruinin’ your clothes an’ it only lasts up toa week”
Peter relaxed, yondu took his hand and began to walk out of the master captains room
“I’ll take you to doc so we can sort through this, arigh’?”
Peter nodded

“See not all bad? You just wear these tel’ its overs with”
Yondu said, the doc handing Peter a box of pads, he took them
“Why are they so flowery?”
Peter asked, that made yondu and the doc laugh
“Don’t know kid, stole’m off some planet while back”
Doc said
“Now go on I has to talk to the doc”
Yondu said, Peter gave him a smile, thanked the doctor and ran out of the med bay
“Whas up cap’n”
Doc said
“Your gonna need to tell me about these damn terrans I don’t need him runnin’ around scared to hell about his own damn bodily functions”
He said, doc chuckled and started walking over the the book shelf
