WOO it had been a hot minute. Things got busy - I got a promotion at work! - and then the general state of the world is just pretty rough right now, but isn't that the best time for fanfic? Just a brief respite and a bit of a fictional escape, that's what I tend to go for when things get rough IRL. So, just a heads up, as mentioned in the tags this fic does contain some scenes of violence. Nothing outrageous or gory, but scenes of physical and gun violence.
