Curtis slammed the door of the garage as he went to work on a couple cars he needed to finish . Images of you sitting at the table not looking at anyone or the zoned out express on your face bothered him. He remembered how his mother had the same look on her face as his fathers would pretend she wasn’t even at the table . They always smelled of other women you wouldn’t have known his father was mated by their actions .

The older the boys got the more it would drive the boys crazy on how disrespectful they were to their mother . Curtis chuckled under his breath since his brothers were no different so it was a contradiction. Throwing a tool on the ground as he finished installing the in part for the car. Then lowered it to the ground as he opened the big doors as he walked back and drove the car out of the garage to park outside .

Curtis hung the keys for the owner to get the car tomorrow and now he moved on to the next car . He didn't want to be home for a while so Curtis made the decision to stay at the shop . He could hear his phone dinging with text messages knowing it was his brothers but just ignored them.
Ari was cleaning off the counter as Steve put up the leftovers and Ransom did the dishes . The atmosphere was thick with tension since Curtis' words hit a cord with his brothers . Steve and Ransom have been in deep thought as they relayed their actions and how dinner went . “ Do you think it’s too late ?” Steve laid his forehead against the refrigerator. “ You won’t know till you truly try “, Ari spoke as he left the kitchen. Ransom looked over and continued doing the dishes .

Ransom didn’t technically cheat on Y/N. He slept with that nurse before they turned her. Once Y/N wore his mark no other woman would be able to compare to his mate . He just didn’t like there would still be any remaining signs when the two clashed . Now all the female staff keep an arm's length away from him which doesn’t bother him that much . Ransom knew they would need to properly bond with Y/N and show their pack they are a united front.

You sat in the now empty tub thinking about how this idea was not thought out well . The last thing you wanted was to be an advertisement for one of those life alert commercials. Plus to top it off she didn’t want to be found naked on the cold floor for those idiots to see . Slowly getting on your knees, careful not to hit your foot or put pressure on it .
Slowly stand on one foot as you sit on the edge of the tube then swing each leg over . Sighing in frustration as you forgot to grab a towel beforehand. Hoping to the counter grabbing a rag then dry your injured leg then placing the boot back on. Grabbing a towel to dry the rest of yourself then wrapping it around your body .
Opening the bathroom door to see the clothes Andy left as you grabbed them and went back into the bathroom to get dressed . Returning the bedroom to release there has to be a bed to consider it a bedroom . You were so annoyed that you didn’t take in the fact they removed your bed . Flopping in the chair deciding you rather sleep in a chair then share a bed with them.
Ari walked past Y/N room stopping to see her in a chair then remembered they took away her bed . The alpha ran a hand down his face sighing as he went into the room . “ Your bed was taken along with some privacy like the missing door “, Ari stood behind the chair thinking for a moment . “ You can sleep in Curtis' room since he will most likely be staying at the shop . Come on sweetheart I will show you his room since if you stay here one of my brothers will drag into there “, Ari tried to reason with you.

Sitting there thinking of your options decides you rather take a chance of sleeping alone than being dragged into someone else's room. “ How do I know you're being honest with me ? How do I know you're leading me to Curtis' room instead of your own?”, you looked up at Ari as his eyes softened then smiled . “ We have done some bad things to you and you have every right to be cautious of us . So considering this as an olive branch “, Ari started to walk away looking back, giving her the signal to follow him .
Standing up to follow Ari as he opened a door two rooms down from hers . “ An how you know this is Curtis room… the oil and grease stain clothes “, Ari turned the light on to the room . Right on the floor was a shirt with oil/ grease on it and the room had that smell to the room . '' Go on if anyone asks I’ll tell them you choose to be in here and they should leave you alone for the night “, Ari kissed the top of your head then left for the room across the hall.
Hearing the sound of someone coming up the stairs decided to get into Curtis room before anyone could question. Shutting the door quietly, walking to the bed, removing the boot as you got comfortable in the king size bed . Taking a deep breath as the faint smell of Curtis garage mixed with his own smell of mahogany and mint .

It was weird when a purr left your chest which made you freeze forgetting about the wolf inside of you . A hard pill to swallow was that the wolf craved to be close to be with them . You knew that eventually the need to be close to them would wear you down faster than anything . Taking another deep breath feeling how your body just naturally relaxed and fell into a deep sleep.
Steve came up the stairs and stopped at your room to find it empty, continuing down the hallway but stopped in front of Curtis' room. “ Leave her be Steve she chose to sleep in Curtis room “, Ari spoke with his door open as he sat in a chair with a book in hand. Steve just nodded his head and continued to his own room .

Curtis walked back into the house a little past two in the morning. The house was dark and quiet , guessing everyone was asleep as he made his way upstairs. Curtis stood outside his bedroom door confused for a moment trying to figure out why your scent was coming from his room . Slowly opening the door as he slipped into the room seeing you in his bed .
Curtis went into the bathroom to take a shower since he didn’t want to touch you with his dirty grease hands . The man has never scrubbed himself so hard to make sure all of the oil and grease was off his body . He groaned when he thought of his sheet since there was a chance there was some on it . But made a note that he would buy new sleepwear if it was ruined .
Drying off, turning the light off as he left the bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist . Opening a dresser drawer pulling out some boxers to put on then throwing the towel in the laundry basket. Slowly Curtis slips into the bed trying not to wake you as he snuggled up to Y/N . A light rumble left his body as she unknowingly moved closer to him .
You hand woken from a dreamless sleep but felt fully rested as she felt a heavy arm around her body . Looking over to find a slightly snoring Curtis behind you and tried to slowly get out of the bed without waking him. A grunt left his full lips when you moved a little bit trying hard not to wake him . “ If you keep moving kitten we are going to have an issue “, Curtis sighed as he pulled you closer kissing his mark .
A chill went down your body when his lips touched that of your body and made your heart race . “ Curtis I need to pee …. So you will have to let me go “, You pleaded to him as he opened one eye. “ Well for starters I will never leave you but I will temporarily let you go to the bathroom . Only if you return afterwards do we have a deal ?”Curtis' voice was low and husky .

“ Fine I’ll meet you in the middle but you will have to give me my boot. It's on your side “, You sat up waiting for him to give it to you . Curtis looked over on the floor to give the boot to you . Quickly placing the boot on your foot then off the bed to the bathroom. Curtis watched you walk around the bed in a silk lace top and shorts heading to the bathroom.
Closing the door as you want to do your busy but a shiver came over your body . Noticing how cold the bathroom was, you hurried to do your business and get back into a warm bed . Leaving the bathroom noticing the sun is starting to come up and the sound of someone clearing their throat. “ Come on Kitten you look cold “ Curtis padded the bed breaking your chain of thoughts.

Sitting on the bed removing the boot before sliding back in bed keeping a space between you and Curtis. “ That is not what was agreed upon “ Curtis signals to the space between you too. “ Well sir you didn’t say anything about cuddling… your request was for me to return to bed “, You smiled at the grumpy looking man that glared at you. It was obvious the alpha was not a morning person and was a grump bear.
“ Kitten, if I have to come get you, we are going to have an issue . Now be a good little mate, slide that cute butt over here so I can hold you a little longer “, Curtis was giving ou the option of the easy way or the hard way . Weighing out your options since it was too early in the morning for a spanking and with the boot you couldn’t run . Rolling your eyes as you stayed on your back sliding over to him while he hummed in approval .

Curtis looked at you since you didn’t roll over to the side so he could hold you properly. Smiled to himself as laid his heavy body on you at an angle placing his face in the crook of your neck as sighed , taking in your scent. You didn’t release how this made you relax having Curtis so close to you knowing it was a creature inside of you . A deep rumble left his body as a soft purr left yours making wanting to look at Curtis as he chuckled . “ Your wolf is happy to have her alpha so close “ Curtis looked up at your confused face .
“ kitten you are tied to us for life but there are a couple of us that need to find our way . So let us make things up in only with time and patients can heal the things we have done . We know you will never forget it but maybe one day forgive “, Curtis spoke softly as he ran his fingers through your hair . It didn’t take you long to fall back to sleep, little did you know someone was watching.

Andy peaked his head in Curtis' room feeling a ping of jealousy seeing you letting Curtis hold you . He felt it in the bond how content you felt being in with Curtis . Silently closing the door as he walked to his office since he had meetings about upcoming pack events . They had a fall festival coming up that brings a lot of outsiders to their small town but makes a lot of money for the town .
Then they needed to plan your Luna ceremony but everyone decided it should be done in the spring . It will give them time to educate you on what being a Luna is and what duties will fall there mate . Ransom had to see patients at the hospital then had to run to the clinic . Ari was needed at the station due to some illegal poaching that was found . As for Steve he was working from home doing conference calls from their kitchen.

Andy figured Curtis would be home today since he finished the cars at the shop and his help was back. A knock on the door broke his chain of thought looking up to see Brock. “ The council is here and waiting in the conference room . I checked with the patrol and everything was good on the morning sweep . Sharon Carter has kept a low profile but I know she can be cunning.” Brock gave his report to Andy .
“ Well Sharon Carter was informed she would be a dead woman if she tried something . I might have to marry her off to one of our sister packs if she can’t be trusted . And I will be down in a few for the meeting just gathering my things .” Andy told Brock as he left without another word going back to his duties .
Andy walked into the conference room seeing the mixture of men and women seated at the round table. “ Good Morning everyone let’s begin “, Andy announced as he walked to an empty seat placing his folder on the table. Sitting down waiting for one of the counsel to speak to start the meeting but a scent caught his attention. It was one he hadn’t smelled in years.

Andy did not remember signing off on Laurie being part of the council; he looked around the room thinking of who was missing . He thought it was fishy to have her here, especially not long after they had acquired their mate . It still boils Andy’s blood remembering how she tried to trap him with a child which didn’t end well for her .
The atmosphere in the room changed but he decided to not say anything to see how this would play out . Andy knew you were safe with Curtis plus Steve was not far away if someone was trying to play a trick or hurt there mate . “ Well all the hotels are booked and sold for the festival . Plus all the shops have organized little inside events to keep guests interested “, Kendra told the alpha to get the meeting over with .

“ All preparations for entertainment have been finalized with a different entertainment is book every weekend of the festival “, Theo told Andy as he was writing notes . “ We have 10 new pack members that have reached age and have been placed in their new roles . A new registry of unmated omegas has been made and was given to Alpha Ransom this morning “, David told the council.

More announcements were said that failed on Andy’s deaf ears and was thinking about other things . “ When will our Luna have her ceremony and make her presence known?”, Laurie spoke boldly which broke Andy of his thoughts . That was interesting since Andy made the connection on how Laurie found herself in the meeting . Laurie had weasled her way into the ceremony planning which she wouldn’t have been able to do without a certain blonde's help.

“ Our Luna will get to enjoy her first festival with us and she will meet the pack gradually. We don’t want to overwhelm her in any way but a date hasn’t been set yet . Once we think she is ready then a date will be scheduled “, Andy spoke briefly not even bothered to look at Laurie since he rather watch paint dry then look at her .
A few more meaningless announcements were talked about but after two hours the meeting was over . Everyone left as one of the assistants escorted everyone out of the house smiling telling them it was a pleasure. Andy sat in the conference room knowing full well Laurie was still seated looking at him . “ Laurie you are either stupid or suicidal to show up in my house . Say whatever nonsense you have on your mind and leave “, Andy leaned back in his chair looking at her .

Laurie knew Andy too well since it was obvious he had zero interest in her . When Sharon told her that the alphas had found their mate it tore her heart out . But both women knew they weren’t the only ones to be burned by the five handsome alphas. “ Well I came to give my respects to our future Luna and meet her properly. Since I will most likely be planning her Luna ceremony “, Laurie announced to Andy as sweetly as she could .

Andy laughed wholeheartedly at the reason for her to be here . “ Sharon and yourself must be dumber than a box of rocks . Do you think we would let either of you plan our mates' ceremony? You’ll be lucky to be invited let alone plan”, Andy stood up still chuckling at the nerves these women had . He will never understand how their father had so many mistresses.

“ You will get the fuck out of my house and the next time I see your face …. I promise to take your last breath “, Andy darkly whispered into Laurie’s ear as he left the conference room . Steve was in the living room when he noticed a tense Andy and a very startled Laurie . The blonde was shocked to see her since he hadn’t seen her in years .
Things were becoming more interesting but he looked at Brock as he handed a folder to him . Steve just laughed to himself since a storm was coming ….
