Chapter 2

"Our that's boring!"

"What's wrong Mary, why are you in a bad mood?"

"Nothing Yumeko, it's just that Ririka had to travel for a Momobami clan meeting, and that idiot said she would call me, but it's been 2 days and I haven't spoken to her."

"So that's it, our beloved Mary is suffering from love," Itsuki joked.

"Stop it Itsuki, who said I'm suffering? I'm fine, I can't even complain by myself without you two interfering."

"Relax Mary, Itsuki and Yumeko were just concerned, you've been quiet in all the classes and we're just worried since we're your friends," said Ryota.

"Shut up Ryota!"

"I know Ryota, Mary needs a hug, come here, friend." Yumeko walked towards the girl with her arms open and a wide smile on her face.

Mary put her arm between the two so that Yumeko wouldn't hug her. "Stay away from me Yumeko! I'm fine, I can't even miss my fiancée."

"Hey guys, look at Mary, a few weeks ago she couldn't even say that the vice-president was her girlfriend, and now she's smiling and saying she's engaged. What a change, right?"

"Itsuki, stop being sarcastic."

"Sorry, sorry... Mary Senpai. I was just kidding."

"By the way, has anyone seen the president? I want to talk to her."

"Why do you want to talk to Kirari?"

"She said she would consider letting me back into the student council, you know my future as my father's heir depends on it."

"Kirari went on a trip with Ririka, so forget about it. The president isn't at school, and I don't know when they'll be back."

"That's too bad," said Itsuki.

"Mary, be honest. How did you convince Ririka's grandmother to let her get engaged to you? You never explained that very well," Itsuki asked, very curious.

"It was my irresistible charm. No one can say no to me," said the blonde girl, crossing her arms and smiling.

"Stop being silly, I heard a rumor that you broke off Ririka's engagement with Rin, and they almost decapitated you, is it true?"

"People make up stories a lot, Itsuki. I already told you that Matriarch Momobami loved me. She accepted my marriage proposal. She understood that I would be a great match for her granddaughter," Mary said, avoiding the subject.

Mary didn't want to tell her friends that Momobami-sama scared the shit out of her, and that the old lady only agreed to this engagement because Mary promised to have children with Ririka. Since the only thing that woman wants is for her granddaughters to have heirs to perpetuate the family name.

"Guys, I'm leaving now. See you next week." Mary was leaving when she felt a hand grab her from behind and give her a tight hug. "Let go, Yumeko," the blonde girl shouted.

"I'll miss you so much, Mary. Let's go out this weekend since Ririka won't be with you. What do you say?"

"Give it up, Yumeko. I have a lot of subjects to study, and exams are coming up. I need to get good grades, or have you forgotten that I'm a scholarship student."

"Stop that, Mary. Now that you're engaged and a future wife of a Momobami, you practically hit the jackpot. You don't need to worry so much."

Mary looked at Itsuki indignantly. "I'm not with her to pull off a scam. I like her, and I need to be up to the standards of that crazy family. That means getting good grades and getting into a great college."

"See you next week," Mary hurried off.

"Wow... Mary got so angry over such a silly comment."

"You know her, Itsuki. She doesn't like people joking about it. When the other students found out about the two of them dating, they were saying that Mary was scamming the vice president just because she's a scholarship student. Mary pretends not to care about those comments, but knowing her, it hurts her."

"I know, Yumeko, but I was just kidding, and I just said the obvious. She's going to marry a Momobami, who are filthy rich. Shouldn't she be happy?"

"Mary would never be engaged to someone she doesn't love, let alone for money. She's in love with Ririka," Yumeko defended her friend.

"Stop making that face, Yumeko. You should forget about her," Itsuki joked, touching her friend's shoulder. "Ryota is always by your side, why don't you date him? I support it 100%."

"Ryota is not my type," the black-haired girl finished with a sad look as she watched Mary walk away.

.........

"Ririka, where are you? You said you would call me every day, and today is Saturday, and I haven't heard from you," said the girl lying in her bed with a sad expression, without any news from her fiancée.

"Mary, come here!"

"Why are you shouting like a crazy person, Mom!?"

"Stop being disrespectful to your mother, young lady!" her father scolded.

"Sorry, Mom. But what do you want with me? I was sleeping."

"Stop lying, Mary. You've been wearing that unfriendly face for days. Did something happen at school?"

"Nothing happened, Mom. Why did you and Dad call me?"

"Your father and I are going to travel. He got a few days off from work to go to a spa with thermal waters, and we decided to go just the two of us. It's been a long time since we spent some alone time together."

"Are you okay with that, my daughter?"

"Of course, dad. I'm not a child anymore. I can stay alone at home for a few days. When are you both coming back?"

"We'll be back on Wednesday. There's food in the fridge, and I'm leaving some money for you in case of an emergency. Just call us if it's a matter of life or death, understood?"

"Don't worry, mom. You can go without any concerns. I'll be fine."

"We trust you. When we get there, we'll send you a message. Now come here and hug your mom."

"You're so grown up and beautiful."

"Stop it, mom. I'm not a baby anymore, treat me like an adult." Mary's parents started laughing. "You, an adult?! With that frown that appears for anything that bothers you."

"Let's go, my love. Mary will be fine. We need to catch a train."

"Goodbye, mom. Goodbye, dad. Have a good trip," the girl said goodbye.

............

"Damn it! Just this week when I'm without Ririka, I'm alone at home."

Mary was making dinner when she heard the doorbell ring. "Who could it be at this time? I hope it's not some annoying salesman."

When the girl opened the door, "Ririka, what are you doing here?" After the surprise, before the white-haired girl could say anything, the other girl jumped to hug her. "Why didn't you call me? I've been waiting for your calls all these days."

Ririka looked at Mary with the kindest eyes in the world. "I'm sorry, I ran out of battery on my phone. The family property we were at is in a mountainous region, where there's nothing nearby. My sister forgot to bring our chargers, so we were cut off from communication these days," said the girl hugging her fiancée.

"I think we better go inside, Mary. A neighbor might see us. I haven't introduced myself to your parents yet, and I don't want to cause any problems for you."

"You're right. Come in, make yourself at home. There's no one home today. Sit here on the couch."

The two girls stared at each other for a while. "Mary, am I bothering you? If I am, I can come another day." The other girl took a while to process what her fiancée was saying.

"No, of course not, Ririka. You would never bother me. I was worried about you. We had agreed to talk these days on the phone, but you never called me, and I couldn't get in touch with you. I thought something had happened, or your grandmother had forbidden you from seeing me." The girl was surprised by her own words, showing insecurity about the future of their relationship.

"My grandmother is a woman who commands respect and seems scary most of the time, but she keeps her word, she won't cancel our engagement," Ririka said, holding her fiancée's hand to comfort her.

"Okay," Mary replied, holding the cold hand of her fiancée. "Did you just arrive in Tokyo? You seem out of breath."

"Yes, Kirari and I arrived not long ago. I asked our driver to drop me off here. I knew you would be upset since we didn't talk as we had planned."

Without giving any signal, Mary approached Ririka and kissed her. The twin was surprised by the spontaneous display of affection from the girl.

"I've been wanting to kiss you for three days," the blonde girl whispered in the other girl's ear.

Ririka gazed at her lover's lips. "Do I look like a shrimp, I'm so red?" she joked to lighten the mood.

"Do you want to help me finish dinner? I was preparing the food. Have you eaten?"

"I haven't had dinner yet. I would love to eat with you."

The two girls finished preparing the food. Mary was sure that the twin had never entered a kitchen before. She asked Ririka to cut some carrots, and the twin seemed like she was going to cut off her own fingers. "Ririka, leave that to me. Go stir the soup until it thickens a bit."

"What does 'thicken' mean?"

Mary smiled at her. "You've never cooked before, have you?"

"Never," confirmed the girl.

"Stir this for ten minutes, and then let me know when to turn off the heat. Can you do that?"

"Yes, I can."

When dinner was ready, Mary set the table for the two of them to eat.

The atmosphere at dinner was great. Mary felt very happy to share the food with her fiancée. She couldn't stop smiling and hoped the twin wouldn't comment on it.

"Ririka, how was the meeting with the clan?"

"The twin recounted what she and Kirari went to do at the Momobami estate at the insistence of the curious bride.

"This meeting was to resolve some disputes that arose between the families of the clan, I cannot go into details with you. But our meetings are not in person, each family stays on their own property, our property is outside Tokyo. Normally only Kirari would go as the leader of the Momobami family and clan, but this time our grandmother sent me along with her, saying that I should participate in the meeting too. I didn't really understand her request, why I should be there, but I didn't want to disobey her and didn't question her decision."

"Did Kirari get angry that you were at the meeting?"

"No, she doesn't like going to these clan meetings, she finds them all very boring. Actually, for the past two years, I've been pretending to be her and going to the meetings." The girl said. "They never noticed."

"I can't believe it, so your sister had to go to this meeting." Mary commented, laughing at her sister-in-law.

The other girl confirmed, "That's right, this time Kirari couldn't get out of it."

"Let's stop talking about these boring family meetings. How did you manage without me these past few days? Did you miss me a lot?" The twin said with the look of an abandoned puppy that Mary loved so much.

"What do you think?" the blonde girl said, approaching the bride to kiss her. "I believe that's a yes," the twin replied.

The blonde girl looked into the other girl's eyes. "Stop being silly, Ririka, you know I missed you very much. My days were gray without you."

Mary sat on the lap of the other girl, who blushed immediately at the bold action of the bride. Ririka turned her face, which was now hot, an automatic movement that Mary already knew and loved. Ririka would lower her head or turn her face to the side when she became too embarrassed or nervous.

"I love it when you get shy around me," Mary said, close to the bride's lips.

Ririka looked at her with a red face and leaned in to seal a kiss between them. "I'm not as shy as you think. You just caught me off guard."

At that moment, it was Mary who felt shy with her beloved's daring words.

"I love you, Mary," the white-haired girl hugged her tightly and they stayed like that for a long time. "I love you too."

.............

"Mary, I'm leaving now, I think it's going to rain, the sky is really dark."

"Before you go, let me check the weather app to see if it's really going to rain. The traffic here is terrible when it rains a lot. Are you going to call your driver?"

"Yes, I'll call him."

When Mary opened the app, it was indicating that it was going to rain heavily in Tokyo, there would be a big storm.

"Ririka, it's better if you stay here and sleep. They're saying a typhoon is going to form tonight."

"What! Is that serious?"

"Yes, turn on the TV and put on a weather channel." When Ririka heard the news about the weather, they were recommending that people not go out at night or find shelter because it would be the biggest storm of the year.

"I can't believe it, I'll call Kirari and let her know I'll be staying here tonight."

............

"Did you call your sister?"

"Yes, she said to be careful."

"Careful with what?! I don't live in a mansion, but this neighborhood is pretty safe."

"Don't be angry, Mary, she just asked me not to do anything stupid that I might regret." After Ririka said that, Mary understood the underlying message from Kirari.

"She's being silly. What would we do here? We're just going to sleep," said the girl, leaving the room. "I'll brush my teeth. When I come out of the bathroom, take a shower and brush your teeth too."

"Mary, I don't have a towel or toothbrush here."

"Don't worry, I had bought some things for you in case you came to sleep here, you know, we're girlfriends, I mean fiancées. I don't see any problem with you spending a night here with me and my parents if you want to. I'll leave your toothbrush and towel in the bathroom, they're pink."

"You thought of that," the twin said softly, all happy.

.............

The girls went to bed in Mary's room. The blonde lent Ririka a shirt and pants, and the twin wore the clothes that were a little small for her."

"Don't you want me to sleep on the floor? I'm the guest here."

"Lie down here, Ririka, my bed is big, I won't let my fiancée sleep on the floor."

"Can I sleep on the couch?"

"Shut up! I already said you're going to sleep in my bed. It's big enough for both of us."

The girls lay down next to each other, and an uncomfortable silence fell over them. "Aren't you going to say anything, Ririka?"

"What do you mean? It's better if we just go to sleep, it's late."

Ririka couldn't sleep, she had never been so close to Mary before. Being in the same bed as her love made her nervous. She tried to sleep, but it wouldn't come.

After some time, she felt Mary move in the bed, as if she wanted to say something but didn't have the courage. The twin felt the bed shake as Mary got up to drink some water.

But suddenly, Mary climbed on top of the older girl, catching Ririka off guard. "I felt lonely without you, my friends even said I was in a bad mood because of you."

The twin listened to her beloved's confession, not understanding why she was saying all of this now.

"I didn't want to confess to them, but I was really annoyed that we hadn't talked or heard each other's voices in these past few days."

"You must think I'm crazy, it's only been three days and I'm complaining as if we haven't seen each other in months."

"I would never have thought that of you," said Ririka.

"Without you, it feels like nothing makes sense. I've never felt this way before, how can I explain... I think 'empty' would be the right word," Mary declares as she watches the rainy Tokyo weather from her bedroom window.

"I've never missed anyone in my life, but I miss you every time you're away from me."

Ririka pulls her close and kisses her gently and lovingly. "I missed you too."

Ririka's kisses are so chaste and sincere. When the girls' lips touched, Mary felt like electricity was passing through her body. She felt dominated by the twin. Ririka's lips were so sweet and delicious, it was like being drunk. The blonde couldn't think, she just followed the rhythm of her beloved.

Mary opened her lips, allowing Ririka's tongue to explore her mouth. At first, the two of them always seemed awkward with the kiss, but then the rhythm came, and it was a nice and precise rhythm.

Mary felt her breath become labored, her heart beating very hard. She needed air, but didn't want to let go of her passion's lips.
"I need to breathe," Mary distanced herself a little from her fiancee, but still looking into her eyes. The blonde slowly took off her shirt and was left in her bra, leaving Ririka completely shocked by her action.

Mary delicately took Ririka's hand and made her hold one of her breasts. She felt the twin's hesitant touch, and she herself was very nervous.

When Ririka touched one of Mary's breasts, the two girls blushed. "Mary, are you sure about this?" The blonde didn't say anything, no words, just nodded her head to confirm.

In a quick move, Ririka pulled Mary close and put her back on the bed, with the twin on top of the blonde.

Ririka began to kiss her again, but now with more intensity, as if her life depended on it. The girls forgot about time, the rain, the thunder. It seemed like the two of them were alone in the world.

"I love you, Ririka." Mary felt hot, but what hotness. She boiled over. She wanted to convey all these feelings to her beloved (passion, desire, love). She wanted to take care of Ririka and be taken care of by her.

If her friends could hear her thoughts, they would probably laugh at her. She liked to demonstrate her self-confidence to them, but in reality, she felt lonely. Boys were afraid of her and thought she was violent, while girls saw her as a prince, a savior on a white horse. Mary didn't identify with either of these two characteristics.

She just wished they could see her for who she really is - a girl who often felt insecure. She unconsciously desired love and being in love was a wonderful feeling that she had never experienced before. When she was with Ririka, she felt like she was in heaven.

Ririka saw her for who she was - the twin wasn't intimidated by Mary's aggressive personality, bad moods that came out of nowhere, or the fact that Mary didn't shy away from a good fight and would curse in moments of anger.

The twin saw her as sweet and gentle, like no one else had before. Ririka said that Mary had a good heart, and that was what the twin liked most about her - Mary was always ready to help her friends. Ririka loved her even with her flaws, and she didn't care that Mary wasn't from a rich and traditional family.

You won me over by being yourself, without masks, and I love that about you, the twin said when confessing her love for Mary.

Finally, Mary felt lucky in life. She found love in the most unlikely place - a school full of spoiled rich kids.

"Mary?"

"Yes."

"Are you okay? You seem distant. Are you sure you want to continue?" Mary immediately kissed her.

Ririka looked at her beloved with a fondness in her eyes that always melted Mary's heart. "Are you comfortable? I'm not hurting you, right? Because if I am..."

The blonde girl silenced her fiancé with another passionate kiss. "Keep going."

.............

"What time is it?" The morning light reflected on Mary's face. "Damn, I forgot to close the window with the curtain." The girl looked at the clock on the wall. "It's 6:15 in the morning. It's still too early," she complained softly.

The blonde turned around and saw her naked fiancée covered with the sheet.

Mary blushed, remembering the previous night - the passionate kisses, the deep touches, the taste of her beloved, the caresses. She covered her face, feeling a mix of embarrassment and joy. "My God, we made love last night... I'm not a virgin anymore," she spoke to herself.

"It's still early, let me sleep a little longer," the clearly drowsy girl said.

Mary didn't say anything, but tried not to move to avoid waking the sleeping girl. "You're so beautiful, Ririka," she whispered to herself.

"I heard that," the white-haired girl opened her eyes and caressed Mary's cheek, who was visibly blushing.

"I think you're the most beautiful girl in the world," the twin said with a smile, embracing her fiancée.

"What are we going to do today?" Ririka asked, looking at Mary.

"Let's start by having a good breakfast. What do you think?" Mary kissed Ririka's forehead and stroked her silky hair.

"As long as I'm with you, that's perfect for me," Ririka replied.
