Chapter 28
Hours have passed by and you and the others are all laying on the ground watching the stars as the pass, You felt really drunk and was just enjoying the moment. Sif was to your right, Loki to your left and everyone else was all around you. You felt completely at peace
"Guys I think I'm off to bed. The stars are spinning" You let out a laugh as you sit up slowly. Loki looks over at you and sits up with you.
"Oh come on Lady y/n! The nights still young!" Fandral sat up pouting.
"Oh leave her alone Fandral. She needs to rest more then we do." Laughed Sif who took another swig of her drink. Thor grunted and covered his eyes with his arm nearly passed out. Loki stood up and swayed alittle bit but helped you stand up and tucked you under his arm. You nuzzled up to him and smiled.
"Goodnight guys Thanks for letting us join you." You waved as you and Loki walked away back into the castle. Everyone waved back as you guys walked off. "That was a lot of fun. Why cant we just teleport back.. Im dizzy." You pouted and let out a small shiver.
"My love I am not sober myself and using magic while intoxicated can be extremely dangerous" He looked down at you noticing you shiver and pulled you closer "lets hurry and get you to bed my love your freezing."
"Mm okay" You took a deep breath and sighed in relief smelling him. Loki loved feeling you so close and it was driving him mad knowing how he felt about you but being unsure if the feelings were mutual or not. Early that evening he could have sworn they were but he didn't want to risk ruining everything. As the two of you reached Lokis room he opened the door and walked you in and laid you down in bed. You let out a content sigh and started snuggling his pillow "You're amazing Loki." He smiled softly at you and tucked some of your hair behind your ear.
"You have no idea what you do to me y/n.." softly Loki placed a kiss on the top of your head as he waved his hand changing your clothes into your favorite pjs.
"No magic mischief." You mumbled as you started to grow sleepy.
"Small magic is okay. I am a god after all." He chuckled softly as he climbed into bed next to you and pulled you close without thinking
"Loki.. Why did we rush here?" You were Half asleep but this crossed your mind suddenly and being drunk you had no filtered. This threw Loki off as he tried to think of what to say. He decided to be truthful
"Im keeping you safe from people who aren't thinking clearly." He let out a sigh concerned how you would take that information. Turning in Lokis arms you looked at him, your faced extremely close to one another.
"Who?"
"Stark.."
"Why?"
"He's worried about thanos and wanted to keep you far away from the battle if it comes by any means he deems necessary." Loki was really hoping you wouldn't pry for details. You thought about it for a moment and closed your eyes sighing
"I guess I understand that, but he isn't my father he cant stop me." Opening your eyes you looked at Loki with a serious look "No one really can." Lokis expression softened as he cupped your face.
"Y/n.. Please rest. We can talk about this another time. I cant think of anything happening when I'm in this state" your expression softened at Loki's admission and you nodded and closed your eyes
"Im sorry.." Loki hushed you and kissed your forehead pushing his magic forward nudging you to feel more sleepy. "Hey .. Loki?" you whisper almost asleep.
"Yes my love?" he whispered back kissing your forehead again running his fingers through your hair as he admired your beauty.
"You..win.. however I think you.. always have." your breathing leveled out and soft snores began indicating you had fallen asleep. This caught Loki completely off guard. He wasn't sure what you meant by what you said but he had hope. he felt a prick in his eyes again as he hoped he wasn't dreaming. Closing his eyes he pulled you a bit closer and rested his head on yours
"Damnit Y/n I love you. Completely." Kissing you on the top of your head he let out of last sigh falling to sleep rather quickly.

Opening your eyes the sun was bright and high in the sky. You had a major headache as you sat up slowly you let out a groan. "Never again drinking that stuff.. Ugh." rubbing your head you looked around and saw you were alone in the room. Standing you went into the bathroom and began washing your face, looking into the mirror you noticed your eyes were much brighter than usual. You thought about last night and smiled it was a really good night, with a lot of laughs, making friends and spending time with Loki. Then you started thinking about how the two of you almost kissed and felt a blush start to creep into your cheeks.
"Y/n?" Lokis voice was soft from the other room. Peaking around the door you smiled as you caught sight of Loki holding a tray of food.
"Well good morning handsome. Please tell me Asgard has coffee? My heads killing me.." Walking out of the bathroom you held onto your head trying to stop the pulsing. Loki set down the tray and walked up to you placing his hands on both of your temples
"Well we do but I think I can help." Winking he used his magic to take away your headache. His touch caused your heart to speed up and a blush to spread in your cheeks. Looking at you he smiled "How's that love?"
"Much better thank you." Taking his hand into yours you glanced at the tray "So.. what's to eat?" Loki lead you back to bed then grabbed the tray and brought it over.
"Well darling I brought some eggs, bacon, toast, just some basics" smiling he placed the tray next to you and handed you a cup of coffee. You smiled wide and took the cup into your hands and took a long drink
"I didn't realize Asgard had so many midgardian basics.." looking over the tray to looked at Loki suspiciously "Interesting."
"Well only the best for you my dear."
"Loki.." You pressed as you took another drink.
"I may of conjured some of the food..." He looked to the side sheepishly. You let out a laugh and took a piece of bacon and smiled.
"Thank you Loki. I would have been fine trying your homes food too you know." Taking a bite you groaned in joy. You didn't realize you forgot to eat yesterday then it dawned on you Loki must not of eaten either. "join me please." Patting the bed next to you Loki smiled and sat down next to you summoning his own plate. The two of you sat there eating your food in peace. "So when do we plan on going back?"
"Honestly we can go back whenever you'd like but I wanted to give stark some time to think before he did something stupid."
"Oh yea.." You thought for a moment. "I need to talk to him about that too."
"Maybe you can help him see but I highly doubt it. Stark is convinced he can protect you. He's almost obsessed.." Loki growled that last part. Sitting down his plate he stood and walked over to his balcony "I don't like how him and Strange are with you but I cant stop them." surprised by his honesty you placed your plate down and walked over to Loki
"no you're right you cant stop them."Loki looked down at you frustrated but with an emotion you couldn't quite pick up "However I will be speaking to them.. A lot of things have become clear to me since being here and I don't want others getting in the way of it." You stepped in front of Loki and looked out onto Asgard taking in the beauty but being lost in your thoughts as well.
"What exactly has become clear to you? I cant imagine much since we've really only been here a day." he let out a soft laugh
"well that's the thing It only took a certain moment for it to become clear to me" Feeling nervous you let out a sigh and turned to Loki locking eyes with him as he watched you with interest. You felt a lump form in your throat again "oh don't make me say it Loki..." He raised his brow and took a step towards her
"I wasn't going to but now you've peaked my interest." He smirked as he caged her against the balcony. She felt her heart rate pick up pace as she took a gulp and looked up at Loki as he towered over her "tell me darling, what has become clear to you?" The tension between you two was so thick it was difficult to breathe. However it wasn't a bad tension. Loki was equally as nervous but was feeling a bit mischievous and he wanted to test some boundaries. He felt comfortable with you and you looked so adorable when you were nervous.
"I..uh.. damnit.. Its you Loki.." You closed your eyes scared of what his expression would be. "its you I want, its you I think of all the time, its you that I dream of, and I know its stupid because I am just a mortal I have nothing to offer you but.. I cant help it.. " You opened your eyes and saw Loki wide eyed and shocked he had not expected you to say that. he let out a chuckle of disbelief causing you to feel your heart begin to hammer again and embarrassment fill you as you went to step away but Loki still had you caged. He wasn't letting this moment slip by again. Suddenly, he yanks you against him and bends his head to kiss you. You melt into him as his fingers tangle in your hair. Your mouth opens to his hungrily, and your tongues meet. molding together, fitting against one another with stunning perfection. You had never felt as you did in that moment, exploring the taste of him. Feeling the strength of his arms around you. Inhaling pine and leather. His scents. You felt as though you found a moment of forever. Like this was how they should've always been. Loki slowly pulled away and smiled gently at you placing his forehead to hers you let out a sigh of relief and bliss.
"You have no idea how long I craved to hear those words y/n I just hope one day this can grow to you loving me the way I love and adore you. I swear to you I will do everything I can to win your heart the rest of the way" Loki cupped your face as he planted another short gentle kiss on your lips just before you could say anything else there was there was a tapping on the door causing you and Loki to both be pulled from this moment of heaven and brought back to reality.
