Season 2 first episode idea
SEASON TWO EPISODE ONE IDEA
We open on steven waking up, mirroring S1E1, with Lonely is a Man Without Love playing.
"'G'mornin' Marc"
"'Mornin, Steven"
We see Marc in a mirror that has been set up on their nightstand, when Steven walks away the reflection is slightly off, like, barely noticeable.
Steven and Marc go through their normal morning routine, until they eventually sit down with a bowl of cereal in front of the TV. Marc turns on the news and it's talking about something in a spanish speaking country (doesn't matter which) and a person is speaking spanish.
We hear jake say something like, "hijo de puta," and Steven looks suprised.
"Marc, did you say something?"
"No... I thought that was you?"
"Must've been the tele."
"Don't call it a 'tele.'"
Banter.
Stuff like this continues to happen throughout the episode, the sounds must include Jake wooping, screeching tires, the sounds at a boxing match, and the creaking of floorboards, but we never see anything, just hear it.
Eventually Steven and Marc return home from their day out and step on a creaky floorboard, at this time, whoever is fronting dissociates (not an eye-rolling switch, like normal dissociation).
We hear the FWOOWOOWOOWOOSH sound that the show plays when they have a dramatic switch, but there isn't a switch.
We watch through Jake's eyes as he puts his leather gloves and flat cap under the floorboards.
Marc rips the floorboard up to see Jake's hat and gloves, and when he picks them up he dissociates again.
We see flashes that tell a story, from jake's POV
We see him wake up, get his hat and gloves, get dressed then head out the door. We watch through his eyes as we see a flash of him recklessly driving and hear tires screech. Then we see a flash of him cheering at a boxing match, then we see him walking out of the match with Crawly as he whoops. Then we see him walking down the street and someone bumps into him, he says "hijo de puta." Then we see him putting away his hat and gloves then going to bed.
Throughout this whole sequence, we never see Jake's face.
Marc runs to their weird triple mirror thing and tears it open. His face takes up two reflections, Steven's takes up one.
Marc starts yelling at Jake to show himself, and Steven is calmer since he's been through this before.
He's still freaked out, but not nearly as much as Marc.
"COME OUT HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT! SHOW YOURSELF OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL BASH OUR HEAD THROUGH THIS GOD DAMN MIRROR YOU HEAR ME?"
"Marc! calm down! We've known this was a possibility since Cairo right? I know you're freaked out, trust me I've literally been here before. I mean, I didn't know about you for a long time!"
"YEAH WELL THAT SHIT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN TO ME! IM SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!"
Steven's hurt by this, but Marc is too pissed to really notice, and he keeps yelling at the mirror.
"YOU ASSHOLE COME OUT HERE!"
"Marc just calm down!"
"COME OUT HERE YOU SON OF A-"
"Hola."
When Jake appears, Steven tries to be polite and greet him and Marc jumps back from the mirror, when the camera cuts to his front we see Khonshu's bottom half behind him.
"You weren't supposed to let them find out about you."
Marc whips around to look at Khonshu, but before he can say anything, Jake responds.
"Ay, mierda pasa. Lo siento pajaro" (Ah, shit happens, sorry bird).
Marc whips back to Jake, Steven is standing there in a mix between akward and angry. Akward because of the new guy, and angry because Khonshu is back.
"Well, worm, It seems we need to have a talk."
