
Tony gently held a scarred, shakey hand in his own. He beamed a smile at the man who’s hand he held so carefully as he bent down to kiss it softly.
“May I have this dance, Stephen Stark?”
He smiled. “I’m all yours.”
He intertwined his fingers with his lover’s, pulling him close to his chest.
The song played in the background.
‘We’ll meet again.. don’t know where.. don’t know when.. but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day..’
They swayed back and forth rhythmically as the lyrics of the song descended in to instrumentals, leaning against each other. The two moved majestically, in perfect harmony. No words needed to be said to show their love from one another.
The music faded.
In the blink of an eye, Tony was gone.
He was no longer in their living room, but instead, in his own bedroom, alone.
The multiverse can be so cruel.
