"Aiight...Imma head out..."
White was awkwardly keeping to the side of the situation displayed in front of him. Where Violet and Red, two of his supposed acquaintances in life, were busy tustling with one another after a...rather one sided reunion...
Violet was trying best she could to at least leave some imprint of her spite on Red for getting too personal for their liking meer minutes ago, but the Scarlet Sniper was able to read her swings like an open book.
It left White to do nothing but watch on. Until he decided it was probably best to leave the girls to their madness. It was probably some girl stuff he didn't even want to try and understand, especially with his memory loss.. At best Violet was just going to tire herself out and find him through the ruins of Lower Heaven. Worst? Some Demons find them..
So with that, he got back into the swing of his speed and darted off to his next objective. In his mind, hoping that Red manages with a girl like Violet trying to bother her...
Well little did he know...
The two kept at the hopeless tustling. Violet almost tiring herself with how hard it was to actually land a hit on the taller woman in front of them. But with a turn to the side and a few seconds of no response, Red finally responded to the swings.
Red took Violet's wrist while they went in for one more throw, and without hesitation pulled the girl to the floor.
Violet wasn't expecting the sudden reaction, squeaking in shock before colliding with the stone beneath them. It didn't even give them the time to process that Red was now up close and personal. She kept Violet down by holding her wrist above their head, and kneeling over her to have them be face to face...or...er....mask to mask... The fangs of Red's Kitsune were almost more menacing up close... But luckily, Violet didn't have to worry. She knew she didn't have to. For the tension in the air turned to that of stifled giggles from Red.
"Fufufufu... Sorry, I'm sorry. I thought it would be funny catching you off like that."
Violet huffed, though less of hatred from Red's teasing she shown not so long ago and more flustered annoyance. "Well ha ha. You got me."
"Oh come on, I know you like it when I'm rough~" Red hummed back to her bothered partner, before immediately getting pushed away by Violet's free hand, them starting to choke on things to say in reply, leaving nothing to come out but a "Hw-Khhh-Di...SHUT UPP!!"
They both laughed at the sappiness of the flirting before Red decided this probably wasn't comfortable for Violet. So she pulled them upright, picking the smaller rabbit up and holding her carefully by the hips. Red was always more stronger of the two. With Violet being so scrawny it was not really a hassle. Also, gives the reward from being carried by White so much in the past. She can now let Violet understand its benefits.
Violet finally caught her tounge again, looking at Red with a more serious tone in her voice, but one more caring than cruel. "So...White... Are you doing okay seeing him again?.."
She knew Red had a bad mindset regarding White once they were in Heaven. Hell, they were the only person Red could really tell. And despite wanting to win the competition and prove herself, they decided being there as a support for Red was another requirement. They were together, after all. In life and in death. But I don't think White's ready to remember that. At least not yet.
"It's fine." Red responded carefully to Violets worry. "I think I'm finally getting to forgive him.. Even if he doesn't remember anything." Her tone ran cold for a second, but was able to be brought back with Violet's arms wrapping around her neck. She was always one to adore the touch of her lovers.
"Well I hope this facade doesnt last long.. I'm tired of acting dumb in front of that bozo." Violet retorted jokingly, "I know it's going to work out with you two again.. Guess I'm just a bit-"
"Jealous you won't have me to yourself again?"
Violet caught themself with Red's quick response. Just nodding to it in embarrassment. Red took Violet closer and let her mask rest on their own. A Rabbit and a Kitsune... what a ridiculous pair.
"Oh Violet.. You already know I share my love with you the same as I do White. Nothing's going to change~"
The reassurance almost made Violet melt in Red's arms. She pulled tighter to the embrace and just wished they could stay like that until the ten days ended. These masks were the one thing keeping them from more passionate ways to show her gratitude for having such a love. Red chuckled at their obvious reaction. Letting them both enjoy the silence and warmth of one another in the clouded ruin.
"I missed you too, Vi."
"Mmmmhh...." was all Violet could mumble in reply. Already lost in the moment. Sadly, it couldn't last forever. So Red had to let them down...literally... finally letting the masks breathe and dropping her partner carefully to the floor. "I think it's about time you catch up to White now.. Don't want him thinking you got lost in our 'fighting,' now, would you?"
They huffed at the thought, "Hmph! if I HAVE to... Why can't we just stay here? It sounds better than following that slug."
Red kept a laugh in, taking Violet's chin in her hand and pulling it up to look at her. "I promise tonight we can meet at the Neon Bar and continue our business. As long as White comes back with you that's all I need for it to happen." Violet tried to say something in reply, but once again caught her tounge in their throat by Red's mere look at her.
Red took her hand off Violet's chin and pushed them to the arches where White dashed off. Violet tried turning back, but stopped and knew what was waiting when she finished the mission. They took a head start and finally leapt from the building, cards in hand to soar from the rooftops. Red watched her leave and sighed.
Let's hope they can keep this charade up as long as they could..
