You laid down on the grass, it was a pretty cold night. You decided you could sleep, it was 2am after all. It was Sunday today- er- yesterday its past midnight. You know what that ment? School tomorrow- today? Anyway, yay. Another day of being a social outcast! And you preferred it that way, but there was a certain girl that tired harder then the others. Of course she gave up about two weeks ago, it was almost the end of the year.

You woke, stretching for a second... Thennnnn getting up and walking inside, you got ready and rushed out the door skipping breakfast. You walked inside the classroom and sat down, you saw Mina walk in as energetic as always. You sighed putting your head down when you noticed the flash of determination in her eye.

'looks like she hasn't given up just yet..' 

She looked over at you her short pink hair bouncing, "Y/N! What did you do over the weekend?" You looked up from your arm pillow and at the pink skinned, yellow horned girl, Mina. She had her hands on your desk as she slightly leaned onto it. "Trained" she smiled "are you trying to get into UA? If we both get in we could train together!" Her smile beamed down on you "not sure I'll try for UA"

Mina looked down "well if you do, I did give you my number!" She walked over to her desk as your guy's teacher walked in looking as teachery as ever.

The last class of the day finally! Your teacher walked in.

"Alright class! I just got back your career quiz, so here you all go!" He walked around and passed them out. When he got to you he smiled "I was shocked!" He walked away passing it to the others as you looked down at yours, how?

"alright class! Today I'll be handing out some career tests! They help determine what you should set your mind to after the year is over. But of course these won't be accurate, and of course its hard to say 100%. So we'll also tell you a percentage of how much of it you are! Anyway, I'll pass them out!"

No way... Your teacher looked down at your test, he'd only seen an actual 100% a few times... But never this! It was as if your future was set in stone!

No way...

100% police officer?! Jeez you really weren't cut out to be a hero, huh?... Well, that sucks, but at least you weren't like Kumi, the girl who sits next to you. She was 78% dog walker, that must suck. You sorta wondered what Mina got, but honestly, you didn't care that much.

You looked over at your teacher, some students looked excited, some disappointed. "Remember! This is just a suggestion! Even the 100% aren't really 100%" he looked over at you.  You sighed, really... maybe you weren't cut out to be a hero...

"Alright! You guys can have free time for the rest of the day!" He smiled and sat down at his desk opening his laptop. Mina ran over to you, so quickly you thought she'd ram into you. "Look!" She smiled brightly "53% hero.." You mumbled. "What did you get?" She looked at your paper, "oh.. Well! That doesn't mean you won't be a hero!" You smiled, that's actually what you needed to hear after this.

"Thanks Mina..", " yup!" The two of you talked for the rest of the day, Mina was pretty shocked by this... I mean, this was the first time you didn't try to trick your way out of a conversation. It was exciting for her!

But finally the final bell rung and you went home. You walked in and walked over to your mother and sister, UA signups opened today so you wanted to apply. "hey mom? Can I signup for UA?.." She looked at you in shock "no! Your sisters already going, and you shouldn't bother the Pros with... That thing of a quirk..." You looked down.

Your sister gave you a smug look "no mom! Let her try its not like she'll get in! Then we can finally prove how much better I am~" you looked at your mom "great idea! We'll finally prove to your dunce of a sister just how worthless she is" they talked as if you weren't standing right in front of them.

"Alright Y/N! You get to try but we both know your sisters going to make it, hm?" You rolled your eyes, at least you get to go, right? Maybe you could make it in! If you did... Then you'd be able to help people! You could also show your mom that you aren't weak! "ok" is all you responded with.

You went up into your room and texted Mina.

Really?! We can study together then! Meet at *******!

You put your shoes on and climbed into the tree out the window and walked to the small cafe. It was a peaceful place and she looked over at you "Y/N! We can study for the written exam here!" You sat down with her, you weren't good at math, or history- but you studied enough you got decent scores.

"Ok, so- if Y • T = 1218, then is it true if Y = 87, if so, what times 87 = 1218?" You worked it out on a small piece of paper Mina handed you. Two minutes passed "Done" she looked up "with both?!" You nodded, "wow! This is why you were no. 1 in math huh?" You shook your head "I just studied, a lot" 

You always studied the moment you learned something new. I mean, until now you didn't have a social life. So you kinda just always studied. Or trained with your quirk. You helped her with the problem and corrected any errors, she got it right, "ok! So it's true, and its 14 times 87?" You nodded "yup!"

She flipped over the answer, the two of you got it correct! 

After the study session you walked home climbing into your room from the tree and falling asleep, the days repeated like this. You woke up, went to school, snuck out, studied for a few hours with Mina, came home and trained with your quirk (Except for today). 

Finally, tomorrow was the entrance exam.
