*The Going Merry arrives at Janjira, Japan.*
Morbius: Remember this place is radioactive so we'll need these suits.
*They put on some hazmat suits.*
Usopp: Can't some of us stay here?
Morbius: What? It's just an abandoned city of radioactive waste.
Usopp: That's exactly why I don't want to go!
Morbius: Fine, stay here if you'll like. But the rest of us fun guys will go.
Luffy: Let's find this giant animal!
*Morbius uses a small analysis device to track the animal call frequency to its original source. Morbius, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji get on a small boat to go into the abandoned city.*
Sanji: It's like a ghost town.
Zoro: It's creepy.
Morbius: To think civilians used to live here.
*They land on the shore and head into the city.*
Luffy: It's very dusty. And wet. Ew!
*He steps on some waste.*
Morbius: Man, this must've been a really big thriving city. It's worse than Chernobyl.
*Some dogs run past them.*
Sanji: What spook them?
Zoro: I thought this place was supposed to be toxic?
*Morbius checks the analysis machine for radiation and sees zero traces. He then proceeds to take off his suit.*
Luffy: Woah woah! What are you doing!? I thought you said it was dangerous!?
Morbius: It's clean… the radiation in this place should be lethal but there's nothing…
Sanji: Is that weird?
Morbius: Yes. A nuclear fall out happens and now suddenly there's no radiation? Not one trace?
Luffy: Maybe it went away.
Morbius: Radiation doesn't just go away like that in such a short amount of time. Nami said the incident happened 15 years ago. It takes thousands, possibly millions of years just for radiation to disappear. So it should still be a wasteland and yet… nothing.
Zoro: So where did it go?
Morbius: I don't know… but we should keep going. The call is leading to there.
*A helicopter then flies above them.*
Zoro: Military?
Morbius: Get down!
*The four of them hide. They then come out and see something is happening at the old power plant.*
Luffy: Are they rebuilding the plant?
Morbius: Why would they do that?
*Suddenly some Japanese soldiers come out and shout at them. They capture them. And start driving to the destroyed Janjira plant now an outpost of some kind.*

*Japanese workers surround a gigantic cocoon-like structure. Taking out radiation measuring equipment and other scientific probes. It starts lighting up in a heart pulse pattern. Sending small EMPs. On top of is a viewing platform, overseeing the cocoon *
Scientist 1: Seven point two seconds and getting stronger. We're trending exponentially. That's our new curve.
Scientist 2: Jesus it's worse then we thought.
Guard: Excuse me, Dr Serizawa, 4 men were just arrested in the Q zone.

*Morbius, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are being held in an interrogation room.*
Morbius: Look, I built a machine to help detect different sound frequencies.
Interrogator: Why?
Morbius: In case we ever need to track down a whale or something- I don't know. It would come in handy! And it did. We found a call! Of a giant animal!
Luffy: Yeah and I heard it!
Zoro: This again?
Sanji: Luffy, no one heard an animal call.
Morbius: Yeah, it was a different frequency! Can you stop joking around?
Luffy: But I'm not! I really did hear an animal!
*Dr. Serizawa and Dr. Graham meet up on the other side of the room, viewing Luffy and the others through 2 way glass.*
Dr. Graham: They had this equipment with them.
Dr. Serizawa: I see.
Luffy: I swear I heard a voice! It said “I'm almost ready” or something like that! Why would I make it up!?
Morbius: That is true. You're a shit liar… but it's also possible you misheard something.
Interrogator: Excuse me, what are you talking about?
Morbius: Look, my friend here just might've heard something or not. But what we do know is we detected the call of a large animal.
*Dr. Serizawa’s interests are peaked.*
Zoro: This place is supposed to be like a death zone. But's it not. You're hiding something out there.
Sanji: I don't usually agree with him, but he's probably on to something.
Morbius: So this power plant collapses, then suddenly radiation on the levels of Chernobyl just disappears 15 years later? Then me with an amateur sound detecting technology detects what appears to be the call of a large animal? AND then we arrive here and see all these government looking people at the very power plant that caused the meltdown!? This is all suspicious!
Dr. Serizawa: They are much more perceptive then I would expect for pirates…
Dr. Graham: He had this analysis device. It looks advanced. Sir, I think that might be Dr. Mitchel Morbius.
Dr. Serizawa: The scientist who got kidnapped by pirates?
*She shows him a picture of his bounty poster.*
Dr. Graham: And became one and more. His captain is Monkey D. Luffy.
Dr. Serizawa: And they managed to detect a call from the cocoon…
Dr. Graham: They made a breakthrough before we did.
*The lights in the room start to flicker.*
Morbius: That's an electromagnetic pulse.
Interrogator: I'm sure it was just faulty wiring.
Morbius: No! That was most definitely an EMP. The animal call i detected has traces of an electrical pattern! It has to be the EMP.
*Luffy once again hears a voice.*
???: After a long time, I'm ready. I've grown..
Luffy: He's grown!
Morbius: Huh?
Sanji: What are you talking about?
*Dr. Serizawa looks at Luffy intently.*
Luffy: I just heard the voice again! He said he's grown!
???: I'm hatching now. I'll be on the hunt soon.
Luffy: He's hatching! He's gonna be on the hunt soon!
Zoro: Hunt? Have you lost your mind?
Dr. Serizawa: … Wait a minute.
*He starts to notice the EMP patterns and the ground shaking. And it's matching.*
Dr. Serizawa: We have to go.
Dr. Graham: What is it?
Dr. Serizawa: They know something we don't.

*Serizawa and Graham run back to the observation deck.*
Scientist 1: The pulses are seconds apart!
Scientist 2: They are getting stronger, it's affecting the power grid!
Scientist 3: Any radiation leakage?
Scientist 4: Gamma levels are still 0. It sucked all 3 reactors dry.
*The cocoon lights pulsates faster, and pieces of it start to shed.*
Dr. Serizawa: It's done feeding. 15 years ago, it's what caused the meltdown!
Scientist 3: What?
Dr. Serizawa: It fed on the radiation now it's done.
Dr. Graham: It's using an electric magnetic pulse. That's what it's building to. Converting all that radiation until it hatches.
Dr. Serizawa: We have to shut down!
Scientist 1: Secure the grid! Wildfire Protocols!
Scientist 2: All personal! Clear the first perimeter Immediately!
*The Japanese men clear out as the cocoon begins to react much more compulsively. The wildfire Protocols are now activated.*
Scientist 1: Grid’s secure.
Dr. Serizawa: Kill it
*They activate a button that activates the wired to electrocute the cocoon.*

???: OOOOOWWW!!!

Luffy: Agh! He yelled!?
Morbius: What!?

*The readings flatline as the cocoon seemingly dies.*
Scientist 2: Get a visual.

*A worker uses a flashlight and sees the inside of the cocoon. He then spots a… small organic bump. It moves slowly.*
Worker: Huh?
*It then pushes forward. And out pops out a large insectoid creature that releases an EMP.*
Scientist 1: Check the grid! We're losing power!

*The power goes out. Morbius, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji see the door locking them lose power. Allowing them to escape.*

*Meanwhile the scientists are trying to get the power back up.*
Scientist 1: Hit the back up generators, get everything back up online!
Scientist 2: We're working on it! That pulse fried every circuit!
Scientist 3: Hang on, their going up now
*As soon as the lights come back on, the giant creature is breaking free from its cocoon.*
???: RRRRRAAAWWRRR

???: Damn Small creatures!

Luffy: It's angry!
Morbius: Did you guys hear that!?
Zoro: It's large.

Scientist 2: Everybody out! Now!
*Everyone evacuates. The workers all get away from the perimeter. Luffy, Morbius, Zoro and Sanji make it out and see the large creature.*
Sanji: What the hell is that…
Morbius: It's… it's a monster.
Zoro: Look at the size of it!
*Luffy stares eye wide and sees the large creature move it's arms up and grab the wires with it's mantis-like hooks. Making the wires connecting to the tower collapse and cutting all the other wires… effectively destroying the “cage” it was in.*

???: Now I'm free

???: Rrrrrroooooo…. Rrrroooo!!! Mmoooouuuu…
*The large creature exits the pit and steps on several workers.*
Morbius: We have to get out of here!
Luffy: That's it, I don't care if you're eatable anymore! Take this! Gum Gum, Pistol!
*Luffy punches the large creature in the eye. But all that does is mildly irritate it.*

???: Ggrr, pesky fleshing.

???: Gggrrrraaa!!!
*The creature flicks Luffy away. Sending him crashing through the walls.*
Morbius: You Idiot!
*The monster then spreads its large wings. And flies up in the air. Leaving away into the dark night.*
