*Morbius heads down the elevator and is heading through the main lobby of Oscorp.*
Scientist 1: Did you hear what happened to the nurse at the top floor?
Scientist 2: Yeah, it's awful.
*He passes by the crowd, just as Agent Stroud and Agent Rodriguez arrive at the Oscorp lobby as well.*
A.I announcer: Welcome to Oscorp! From the mind of our founder, Norman Osborn, the Oscorp tower and main headquarters houses 108 floors of innovation. Our scientific minds are pushing the boundaries of all kinds fields, including robotics, defense, biomedical and biochemical technologies! The future lies within!
Rodriguez: Does every visitor get this message?
Stroud: Unfortunately.
Rodriguez: Well, if we're looking for Dr. Morbius we should star- wait a minute is that him?
*They see Morbius trying to act discreetly, but it just makes him more suspicious.*
Stroud: Dr. Morbius! A word.
Morbius: … Yes?
Stroud: Agent Stroud.
Rodriguez: Agent Rodriguez, can we have a minute?
Morbius: Of course, how can I help you?
Stroud: Well first and foremost, I just wanna say thank you. Cuz your chimera cells actually saved my arm. It's a dangerous world out there, especially in the seas, with the great pirate era and all.
Morbius: Oh yes. Very true. I'm glad I could be of service.
Stroud: But I must admit Doc. You don't look anything like you do on the news.
Rodriguez: Yeah, you look downright robust.
Morbius: Well I have good days and bad days. Pilates helps.
Rodriguez: How are you on boats? Particularly ships?
Morbius: In the sea? Don't have very good sea legs. Why do you ask?
Stroud: I mean we heard news you've been kidnapped by pirates. But you've declined to interview or give anyone answers from what we've gathered
Rodriguez: Yeah must've been traumatic.
Morbius: Well, it would be, but I'd never go out to sea.
Stroud: But you've been looking for a cute for your condition your whole life right? You pretty much tried everything.
Rodriguez: Crazy experiments? Maybe on a boat? Maybe in a lab?
Morbius: "Crazy" isn't a term that I would use, detective. Unorthodox maybe, but I'd do just about anything to save a life. I'm sure you can understand that. Anything else I can help you two with?
*He secretly listens to their radio headpieces.*
Operator: All units at Oscorp labs, female body drained of its blood. Initiate lockdown.
Stroud: Copy that. Doc, we got a couple more questions for you
Rodriguez: Yeah you're coming with us.
*Morbius then surprise attacks them. He drops Rodriguez down and hits Stroud off.*
Marine 1: Hey! Freeze!
Marine 2: Stop him!
*Morbius runs away to the backrooms of Oscorp. Just when it looks he's got no escape he jumps up the tower across several floors. The marines try to shoot him, but he dodges the bullets*
Stroud: Hold your fire! Get back up and meet me up top!
*Morbius then reaches the roof of Oscorp. Drops his backpack and tries to fly but the magnetic field surrounding the roof make him dizzy and loose control. Nearly falling off the building.*
Morbius: What the!?
*He notices the solar panels are on. Their power must be causing magnetic interference.*
Morbius: You've got to be kidding me.
*Stroud points a gun at Morbius.*
Stroud: Enough. Doctor.

*At the New York detention complex, Morbius writes in his journal.*
Morbius: It's worse than I first thought. It seems like I lose control even when I fall asleep, becoming unaware that I've gone vampire until it's too late. I don't know why this behavior is just now showing up. Maybe perhaps as a side effect of my attempted vaccine? Whatever the reason, my condition is becoming a danger to everyone I know…
Police: Hey, Doctor, you're up.
*Morbius gets taken to an interrogation room, where he's handcuffed to the table. Stroud and Rodriguez enter the room. Rodriguez has a bottle of holy water.*
Stroud: … Holy water? Really?
Rodriguez: What? I'm not taking any chances. It's triple blessed. Have you ever seen The Lost Boys?
Morbius: … Story of my life.
Stroud: Well. We've gotten evidence that you've been doing an illegal experiment. Down in Puerto Rico, where you've attacked several of our agents. And killed one of them. Agent Victor Slaughter.
Rodriguez: And then after that you've traveled with pirates. Specifically this newcomer with a straw hat. Monkey D. Luffy. Huh, "Luffy" is a weird name. Sounds like an anime protagonist or something. Ever watch anime as well?
Morbius: I read a Bleach manga volume once.
Stroud: Off topic. We know what you've been up to. So start talking.
Rodriguez: You know, aside from our agents, attacking pirates is… well, we at SHIELD don't really care that much. It doesn't ruffle our feathers and I'm pretty sure they were all guilty of something and happy to have them off the waters.
Stroud: But Nurse Sutton… single mother with twin girls, that's something else.
Morbius: Yes I know. Her name was Kristen, we worked together ever since the blood diseased children came into my care. For 2 years. She was a good person.
Stroud: So why did you do it?
Morbius: I can't answer that.
Stroud: Well. What did you do to yourself at Hawaii Doctor? Make us understand.
Morbius: I wish I knew.
*Morbius starts getting bloodthirsty.*
Rodriguez: Okay, great stuff, really informative, thank you.
Morbius: I dropped a bag. There's something inside that I need.
Rodriguez: A bag of blood?
Morbius: Yes.
Rodriguez: It's in evidence I'm sorry
*Morbius growls at him.*
Morbius: I'm sorry… I'm starting to get hungry, and you don't wanna see me when I'm hungry…
*He growls more, Stroud makes a startled defense stand. Before he realizes it's time to go.*
Stroud: We're done here. Let's go.

*Meanwhile the Strawhats arrive in New York City.*
Luffy: WOOOOAH! This place is so big! These buildings are taller than San Francisco!
Usopp: They look the same size to me.
Zoro: Finding Morbius here would be like finding a needle in a haystack.
Nami: Focus guys, we need to look for Morbius. We're not here to sight see or anything-
*But Luffy immediately drops down on the docks and runs towards the city*
Luffy: NEW YORK CIIIIITTTYYY!!!!
Nami: Godamnit…

*Luffy sees the tall buildings, the busy streets, the smelly homeless guy, and the large crowds of people all throughout the city. He's very mesmerized.*
Luffy: No wonder Morbius likes it here! WOAH
*He spots a Ray's Original Pizza.*
Luffy: YUMMY!
*But then his attention shifts to the glowing and very eye catching billboards of Times Square.*
Luffy: WOAH! SO MANY LIGHTS!
Civilian: Cool hat, dude!
Luffy: Wow thanks!
*A guy in an Elmo suit checks him out and just… stares.*
Luffy: I remember you! You were in the Sesame Street show I watched!
Elmo Suit Guy: …
Luffy: … Stop staring it's creepy
*The Elmo Suit Guy then does a breakdance move.*
Luffy: WOAH! HE NEVER DID THAT IN THE SHOW!
*Luffy then notices on one of the billboards, a breaking news segment.*
J. Jonah Jameson: Dr. Mitchel Morbius, a young prodigy scientist working at Oscorp, has been arrested for "Vampire Murder". Among other charges, such as piracy, illegal genetic experiments, etc. One should ask how a promising young man who had it all could fall so low?
Luffy: It's Morbius! He's been captured! I gotta save him!
*The Elmo Suit Guy nods as if he's agreeing with him.*

*Nami and the others are looking at the news as well.*
Zoro: He did not…
Nami: He… he couldn't have…
Usopp: Well, he's definitely gone rogue.
Sanji: How could he kill an innocent nurse…

*Someone gets out of their car, carrying bags of groceries, and enters their apartment building. They put get out of everything and starts placing the groceries in the pantry and refrigerator. They turn on the news and see the Morbius segment. They look in shock, confusion, and even a bit of discomfort. But despite that, there was only one thing they had in their mind…*
Martine: Morbius… welcome back.
