Morbius: They don't even have a McDonald's. This is definitely a rural village.
*searches around a bit. And soon realizes*
Morbius: Huh, Where's Nami? …
*He takes a deep breath*
Morbius: Breath… breath…
*He concentrates on his hearing. Isolating it*
Morbius: How to control it?
*He concentrates really hard… and then he hears everything*
Morbius: Just need to isolate the noise…
*Click click click click*
Morbius: Hey…
*He discovers he can use echolocation to track down a specific noise*
Morbius: Where are you?
*He eventually hears. Her heartbeat*
Morbius: Found you.

*At Nojiko’s house, Nami looks at a nearby framed picture of Nojiko.*

*Flashback*
Nami: Wow, what’s up with all the food?
Bellemere: Do you 2 know what today is? It’s the anniversary… of the day we met! We’re celebrating the day you became my daughters.

*Bellemere comforts a crying Nami and Nojiko during a rainstorm.*
Bellemere: Hey, don’t cry. It’s just a storm. So what if it ruins our crops? You need to learn how to be strong girls who can smile even during hard times. Do that, and nothing will ever stipe you. Now show me those smiles.

*In the present, Nami feels as if Bellemere is behind her.*
Nami: Well, Bellemere. We finally made it. It took 8 long years but we’re finally free. The village… and me. It’s just like you told us when we were children. “Be brave and smile, and nothing will be able to stop you.” It’s so true. Arlong’s gone. And now everybody is so happy to be free…
*She hears a noise*
Morbius: Ow fuck!
*Morbius was trying to jump really high. Because he thinks he can fly*
Morbius: I could've sworn that would've worked.
Nami: Huh?
*She opens the door to see a stumbling Morbius*
Morbius: Maybe I'm in over my head.
Nami: Morbius?
Morbius: NOTHING! Huh? Oh there you are.
Nami: Were you looking for me?
Morbius: Uh, yeah, you kinda disappeared on us. Thought you might have partied hard with us or something. But uh, yeah. It's fine.
Nami: So… is that it?
Morbius: … No. Can I come in?
Nami: Um, sure.
*He goes inside*
Morbius: You gotta any more soda?
Nami: Not exactly.
Morbius: Oh. Well that's okay I had plenty back there. It was a lot, never really got to have that much before. And there was a lot.
Nami: Everyone is happy
Morbius: Yeah. Exactly. Celebration was big. But uh, what about you?
Nami: Me?
Morbius: Yeah. I mean, you're coming with us right?
Nami: I haven't decided.
Morbius: What?
Nami: I mean for the first time in years I’m… free.
Morbius: Oh. You've got options then.
Nami: It's just… I don't know
Morbius: Well that's okay, you don't have to know straight away. We're gonna be leaving in the morning pretty soon. So you have that deadline.
Nami: Got it.
Morbius: So you can decide… I mean… well…
Nami: What?
Morbius: You've been with us this whole time and this crew has gotten into a lot of things together. You fit right in. And, it wouldn't be the same without you.
Nami: So you want me to come?
Morbius: … Yeah. I'll miss you if you don't
*Something inside of Nami just starts… to beat*
Nami: Heh, I'm sure you're not the only one who would.
Morbius: But I'd miss you the most since you're practically the only other sane person.
Nami: Look who's talking.
Morbius: I'm serious, you're smart, you've got this talent and spark that's just amazing and whatever you choose to do with it, you'll be great at it.
*Nami then starts feeling a little flustered*
Nami: Hey, come on now, you've only known me for like 3 weeks.
Morbius: Is that not enough time to build strong bonds?
Nami: I… I don't know.
Morbius: Well, you're a big help. And I know it's entirely your choice. You're free to do whatever you want. And if you don't choose to come, we'll respect that. Even if I end up missing you.
Nami: I appreciate that… you know for the longest time now, I've only known some really bad people. I've had to dig into places where people can get very… bad. It was kind of bleak. But you guys, showed up and offered me a place. It was about the nicest things people have done on my crusade. Luffy certainly made a good impression.
Morbius: He sure did.
Nami: … You made a good one too.
Morbius: Oh really? Thanks.
Nami: Yeah… you know I wanted to ask, but why did you set off to sail in the sea?
Morbius: Oh that. You know finding the cure for my blood disease which I found.
Nami: So you can go back right? You've found the cure so why not go back to your home?
Morbius: This cure isn't exactly a good one.
Nami: You look healthy though.
Morbius: Well, I mean it worked on me fine, but for all I know it was just chance. My cure can still be a dangerous a method and more testing is needed. And I won't be able to test it back home, so open international waters is the best place I can do. Travel and get materials I'll need. It's better than a lab that constantly needs funding and delays and such.
Nami: I see. So being a pirate gives you more free time.
Morbius: Yeah… pretty much.
Nami: Hmm. Well, I'm still trying to decide.
Morbius: I hope you do come… you're a good friend. And if you don't come…
*Morbius gets a little closer, and for some reason Nami feels the beat even faster… it's her heart*
Morbius: You've got amazing skills. You go and put them to good use, and be the woman you want to be. Promise?
Nami: *blushing* I- I- uh promise.
*His lips are a little too close*
Nami: uuuhh, I…
*Then Morbius moves away*
Morbius: Great! I'm glad I had this talk with you. Well I'll guess I'll see you in the morning.
*He then exits out the door*
Nami: Hye… hm. Bellemere, you'd probably think he's a man with a lot of issues. A little awkward, references pop culture, kind of a nerd… cute one though… But, I mean that's not all there is to it right? Like he said, I fit right in with everyone else… and that's why I’m finally gonna leave this island. But don’t worry. I’ll be ok. I’m going with good, strong people like you. And this last map is all that I have left to remind me, but none of that really matters anymore, right? Cause now, I’ll start again. And every map I draw will be for me and nobody else. Oh, you see. This time when I see the world it will be with all of my friends. You know that’s what I’ve always wanted. Anyway, I’m just trying to say goodbye cause I don’t know if I’ll be back. I’m going now, ok?
*When Nami is about to walk out the door, she feels a little push behind her. As if the ghost of Bellemere was telling her to go.*

*The next morning, Luffy and his crew load supplies into the Going Merry before they depart.*
Usopp: This is the last one, right?
Zoro: Yeah.
Luffy: We got everything?
Usopp: Yup!
Sanji: Alright. We’re stocked up with everything we need. I think we’re good to go.
Usopp: You know we’ve only been on this little island for a few days, but it feels more like a lifetime.
Luffy: Yeah! Hehehehehe!
Morbius: Where’s Johnny and Yosaku?
Yosaku: We can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for us, but we gotta go back to our regular jobs as bounty hunters.
Johnny: So this is goodbye. I hope we get to meet again someday.
Zoro: See ya around.
Johnny and Yosaku: Goodbye!
Usopp: Yeah, now it’s time for us to get going.
Sanji: But we can’t leave yet, we gotta wait for Nami.
Zoro: Well, maybe she’s not coming.
Sanji: What, why not?! If you try to hit on her again, I swear I’ll break your freakin neck! You got it?!
Zoro: Why would I do something like that?
Usopp: She might not even be coming. After all, she has achieved her goal. Nami doesn’t have to be a pirate anymore. She might be better off if she stayed here on this island with all her friends and family.
Morbius: That's true. As long as she's happy, it's great. Right?
Sanji: What about me, damnit?! Without Nami on board I have like 98.72% less reason to stay with you people on this stupid pirate ship!
Luffy: Hey, I’m still upset with you about the raw ham melon!
Morbius: Wait, what’s the other 2.28%?
Townsfolk 1: Why isn’t Nami here?
Townsfolk 2: I don’t know. I haven’t seen her anywhere since this morning.
Genzo: What?! 100 million dollars?! She left all of the money?
Nojiko: She left all of it in our house with a letter.
Doctor: She’s not even gonna take some of it? But she worked so hard to get it.
Nojiko: She’ll steal more. That’s what her letter said. There’s no changing her mind once it’s made up.
Genzo: That girl. She didn’t even give us a chance to thank her.
Morbius: well… I guess she's made her choice. We should probably-
Sanji: There she is!
*Everyone sees her at the exit of the dock.*
All: Nami!
Nami: Set the sails!
*She starts running to the ship.*
Usopp: I don’t get it. Why’s she running?
Morbius: Maybe she's trying to get that cardio?
Luffy: She said to set sail.
Usopp: What?
Genzo: No, she’s planning on leaving without letting any of us thank her or say goodbye.
Luffy: Set sail!
*Luffy and the others raise the anchor and start to leave.*
Townsfolk 3: Hey, they’re leaving!
Townsfolk 4: Don’t go!
Doctor: Stop! At least let us say goodbye!
Genzo: Nami! Come back here, you can’t leave this way!
Sanji: So, you want to let her leave like this?
Luffy: Not my decision. She does what she wants.
*Nami runs past everyone in the village in a zigzag motion.*
Nojiko: Nami!
*She then jumps off the deck of the dock.*
Genzo: Why?!
*Nami lands on the Going Merry as it starts sailing away. When she lifts her shirt up, a bunch of wallets and purses fall out.*
Genzo: Huh?! No way!
Nami: Thanks a bunch!
Genzo: Damn! You little brat!
Usopp: Great, she hasn’t changed a bit.
Morbius: So that’s why she told us to set sail… Hahahaha! Epic!
Zoro: I’d watch my back.
Genzo: You lousy pickpocket! We’ll miss you! Boy! Remember what I told you.
Luffy: Got it.
Nami: Goodbye everybody! I’ll miss you! Take care!

Nojiko: I can’t believe her! My little sister got us good with that one. Be safe, Nami.
Doctor: Take a look at this.
Genzo: What is it, doc, Nami’s bill?
*Genzo is handed a piece of paper.*
Doctor: Not exactly. That girl will never change. That’s her new tattoo.
Genzo: What’s it supposed to be?
Doctor: A tangerine and a pinwheel.
*Nojiko notices the pinwheel on Genzo’s hat is gone.*
Nojiko: Hey, Genzo, where’s your pinwheel?
Genzo: I don’t need it anymore.

*Nami looks at the cliffside where Bellemere’s grave is located.*

*Flashback, a baby Nami cries while Bellemere holds her.*
Bellemere: Genzo, back off. Don’t get so close to Nami.
Genzo: I just wanted to see her smile.
Bellemere: Your face is too scary. It’s making her cry.
Genzo: I can’t change my face. Oh, wait.
*He puts a pinwheel in his hat.*
Genzo: I’ll keep this on my hat to distract her. What do you think, little girl?
Bellemere: You’re joking, right? It’s just a stupid pinwheel. There’s no way it’s going to make her-
*But Nami laughs.*
Bellemere: I can’t believe it, she’s laughing.

*In the present, Genzo’s pinwheel sits besides Bellemere’s grave alongside a tangerine*
