Arlong Park part 7
Kuroobi: This suspiciously looks like a treasure map. And it looks like it points to Cocoyoshi Village.
Nami: I can’t believe you have the nerve to go through my personal belongings! That’s my map and it has nothing to do-
Kuroobi: So angry. Something on your mind?
*Hatchan returns to Arlong Park.*
Hatchan: Hey! What’s all the hubbub?! Oh, you’re back, Arlong! Welcome home, sir!
*But he sees the unconscious bodies of the pirates left to guard the base.*
Hatchan: What happened here?! Why are all of these guys not moving?!
Arlong: The pirate hunter Zoro did it. Why weren’t you here, Hachi? This could have been prevented if you had been here.
Hatchan: Of course it could have! If only I had been here! It’s unforgivable!
Kuroobi: Alright, we get it. You weren’t here. So you don’t know where he is, is that right?
Hatchan: Well, let me think about it. I saw one guy. Yeah, that’s right. He was a slightly suspicious swordsman type… Oh, that was him!
Arlong Pirates:…
Kuroobi: So you did see him, you idiot! So where did he go?
Hatchan: He said he wanted to see Arlong, so I gave him a ride to Cocoyoshi Village.
Kuroobi: You gave him a ride?!
Hatchan: But he said he was Arlong’s guest! So I took him there! I didn’t think you guys would be back so soon!
Arlong: Excellent. That means we don’t have any need to hurry. He’s gonna come straight for me.
Hatchan: Sorry about that, Arlong. Had I known you’d be back so soon I would have kept him here longer. So who’s that?
Arlong: Zoro’s crewmember. He thinks a human can defy the glorious fishmen.
Usopp: Zoro, huh? Which means if I can buy a little more time…
*Usopp’s about to pull out his slingshot, but Nami notices him.*
Nami: Why do you keep getting in the way?! Everything’s so close to working out!
*She hits Usopp with her bo staff.*
Usopp: Damn you, Nami! You wanna fight, don’t ya?!
Nami: This is your fault, Usopp. You’re the one getting in the way. This is what you get for messing with Arlong.
Usopp: You really disappointed me, Nami. Even after you stole our ship and ran off, Luffy had complete faith in you! He trusted you completely! And you didn’t show an ounce of guilt! How can you betray someone like that?! Are you really that cold hearted?!
Nami: The only thing I trust is money. Those dumb enough to be fooled deserve it.
Usopp: How can you say that?!
Nami: You idiots, it was going according to plan. I’m not going to let you or your friends ruin 8 long years of hard work. So long, Usopp. It’s just business. You understand.
Arlong: Well I’ll be damned. Looks like you became a pirate while you were gone.
Usopp: “So long”…? Hahahaha! Like what, you’re gonna kill me?! Hahahaha!
Nami: That’s right. I wouldn’t underestimate me.
Usopp: Oh crap. If I stay here, I’m a dead man. Special attack! Smoke star!
*Usopp fires a small pellet that releases a thick fog of smoke, blind Arlong and his men.*
Usopp: This is my chance!
*He starts running away. But Nami catches him.*
Nami: This is something you’d think of.
*She then pulls out a knife and stabs Usopp.*
Usopp: Don’t do this…
Nami: It’s for my business.
Arlong: Shashasha.
Nami: This was my only choice.
Usopp: Nami, how could you…?
Nami: Now go and die.
*Usopp falls into the water and the Arlong Pirates cheer. Johnny has seen everything that has happened from a safe distance.*
Johnny: I can’t believe it! Big sis Nami killed big bro Usopp!
Nami: You got your wish, Usopp. You died at sea.
Kuroobi: Nami, I’m sorry I doubted you. Without question you’re our friend.
Nami: Friend, huh? I joined this crew for one reason. To buy Cocoyoshi Village from you. You got that? Just business, not friends.
*She takes the map back from him.*
Nami: Keep your end of the deal and I’ll have the money.
Arlong: Yes, of course. I’d rather cut my stomach open and die than break a promise concerning money. That’s the kind of man I am.
Nami: Glad to hear that.
*She walks away.*
Kuroobi: She gives me the creeps.
Arlong: Shashashasha! Oh what a great woman she’s become! Shashasha!
Johnny: He’s dead! She killed him! That witch killed him!
*Johnny runs away.*
Johnny: I gotta tell big bro Zoro!
*With Luffy’s group.*
Luffy: There it is! Arlong park! Keep up the pace, cow!
Yosaku: I feel sorry for it. Sanji’s kicks must have really taken their toll.
Morbius: At least it’s got us here faster than expected.
*Momoo steers off into the wall surrounding Arlong Park.*
Luffy: Not that way! Go to the other left! Towards the building! Stupid cow!
Yosaku: We’re gonna crash into the shore!
*Nami enters a room in Arlong Park full of maps and charts.*
Nami: It’s strange. I made it all this way. Endured 8 whole years since that day. For 8 years I’ve persevered. I had no choice but to endure it.
*She hears a rumbling outside and sees something crash into the shore.*
*Momoo crashes into the shore and sends the ship flying in the sky.*
Luffy: Wohooo!
Morbius: Holy shit!
Luffy: It’s almost like we’re flying!
Yosaku: Almost?!
Sanji: We are flying you moron!
Yosaku: And now we’re falling!
*The ship descends but keeps going.*
Luffy: We’re on the ground!
Morbius: Except we’re still moving!
*Zoro keeps running to find Arlong Park.*
Zoro: What a racket. Did a bomb go off on the island? But that doesn’t matter now. If I don’t hurry, Usopp’s gonna get killed!
*The ship continues moving fast and Luffy’s group sees Zoro.*
Luffy: Hey, it’s Zoro!
*The ship rams into Zoro and finally stops when it crashes into a hill.*
Luffy: Awesome. We’re here guys.
Morbius: What gave you your first clue Sherlock…?
Zoro: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING?!
Luffy: What do you mean? We’re here to pick up Nami. How come you haven’t found her yet? Oh yeah, what about Usopp and Johnny?
Sanji: You ok?
*Yosaku is buried head deep in the ground.*
Morbius: I got him.
*He pulls Yosaku out of the ground.*
Zoro: Usopp! Oh, no! We gotta hurry!
Luffy: Why?
Zoro: Because that dumbass has been caught by Arlong! We gotta hurry before they kill him!
Johnny: He’s already dead…
Morbius: It’s that Johnny guy. Wait, what did he say?
Johnny: You're too late. Big bro Usopp is dead! Nami murdered him!
