*In the village*
Townsfolk 1: Arlong’s coming!
Townsfolk 2: He is? We just paid him this month’s tribute, didn’t we?
???: It’s probably about my weapons cash they found. Everyone, go home.
Townsfolk 1: Genzo…
Townsfolk 3: They’re here!
*Arlong and his men enter the village and confront the villager with the weapons, Genzo.*
Arlong: So you’re the fool with weapons on my island?
Genzo: That’s me. I’m a collector. Is there a new law that forbids us from having hobbies now as well? Next you’ll be tell us we can’t read books or play with our children anymore.
Arlong: No, hobbies are fine. It would be weapons that I have forbidden. They make it difficult for me and my men to keep the peace.
*Usopp and Nojiko watch from behind a building.*
Usopp: That’s him?! Arlong’s gigantic!! He’s not even human!
Nojiko: Nope. He’s a fishman.
Usopp: I don’t see Nami with them.
Nojiko: She’s probably back at Arlong Park.
Arlong: I’m responsible for 20 towns and villages, including this one. And as your leader I cannot tolerate even a little bit of rebellion. Wiping out Gosa was just a small example of what can happen if you do not do as you’re told. Tribute money must be paid no matter what.
Usopp: Tribute money?
Nojiko: It’s just as it sounds like. Money we pay once a month to stay alive. Adults and children. If there is even a single who can’t pay, then what happened to Gosa will happen to everyone in this village as well. Our town and the people in it will be wiped from existence.
Usopp: He destroyed an entire town because of one person?!
Nojiko: That’s how Arlong rules. To him we’re nothing but a subspecies. Killing us has always been easy.
Arlong: You pathetic humans need to stop it with all this thinking you’re up to. It’s your greatest weakness. I’m allowing you to contribute to greatness here! Soon, fishmen will conquer the human race and your tributes will be a small part of the beginning of the glorious Arlong empire!
Usopp: Arlong empire?! They’re planning on taking over the entire eastern sea!
*Nami sneaks into Zoro’s cell and frees him.*
Nami: Run away quickly. Arlong’s gonna be back soon.
*She also leaves behind his remaining sword.*
Usopp: Do they seriously want to turn the entire eastern sea into fish-mania?! What will happen to my village?!
Nojiko: Who knows. All we can do now is endure in silence for now.
Usopp: For now?
*Arlong beats Genzo up and holds him by the collar.*
Nojiko: Genzo!
Arlong: The possession of weapons is a clear violation of my authority. As an example of any would-be rebels in this town, I’m going to kill you right now! So that they will see the fate that awaits them!
Usopp: No way, that guy’s insane! He’s killing someone just for having a weapon!
Nojiko: I won’t let him!
Usopp: Wait!
*Nojiko runs out into the open.*
Nojiko: You have absolutely no right to do this, Arlong! We’ve paid your tribute without fail for 8 years! Why would we rebel against you now?! Just think about it! It makes no sense! Now take your hands of Genzo!
Townsfolk 4: Yeah, let him go!
Townsfolk 5: It’s not like he used the weapons!
Arlong: Hoarding weapons shows that he was planning a rebellion against me. But on the other hand, I could destroy you all. Please protect your friend so you don’t give me an excuse to do that. Either way is fine. But rebellions will not be tolerated.
Genzo: Everybody, just go home. Do you want to waste all of our hard work over the past 8 years? For what? The time to give your lives to fight for this village was given when they first came. Now we must continue to be patient. The most important thing is that we continue to live. We swore that we would not let them defeat us as long as we were alive.
Nojiko: Genzo…
Arlong: Well said. I agree with you. It’s good to know that disgusting insects like you know the joy of being alive!
*He slams Genzo’s face on the side of a house.*
Arlong: There is no way any of you will come close to the perfection of fishman! Shashashasha!
Townsfolk 6: Why you-
Genzo: Stop! He wants you to attack.
Townsfolk 7: But we can’t just stand here!
Genzo: Your deaths will mean nothing! You must continue to be patient! Even if I die.
Arlong: That’s a good ending for you.
*He lifts Genzo in the air.*
Arlong: Pay close attention, humans! This is what to those who defy me! Even a hint of sedition from you all!
Usopp: Exploding star!
*Usopp fires a small pellet of gunpowder at Arlong’s face.*
Fishman Pirate 1: What was that?! Hey, look up there!
*They see Usopp standing on the roof of a building.*
Fishman Pirate 2: Who’s that guy?
Usopp: I am the great warrior of the sea, Captain Usopp!
*He tries to act brave, but his legs are shaking.*
Usopp: Also known as the “Demon King” Usopp! Feared throughout the world! I command thousands of men! Loyal and vicious men!
Fishman Pirate 3: That’s the guy I told you about! The long nose who got away!
Arlong: Bring on your thousands of men. I’ll crush them one by one…
Usopp: The exploding star did nothing and now he’s pissed!
Arlong: Repulsive human… What kind of puny creature could do to me?!
*Arlong lifts the entire building with his bare hands.*
Usopp: Aaaaahhh!!!
Fishman Pirate 4: Arlong, hang on just a second!
Fishman Pirate 5: After losing Gosa, we can’t afford to lose anymore tribute money!
Fishman Pirate 6: I know they’re fun to destiny, but ruling over them gives us money!
Arlong: If we lose it we can also get more! Fishmen reign supreme!
*He throws it into another building.*
Townsfolk 1: He’ll wreck the village!
Nojiko: Usopp!
*But Usopp is still alive.*
Usopp: Am I dead yet?
Fishman Pirate 4: He’s not dead yet!

*Usopp runs away.*
Fishman Pirate 5: After him!
Arlong: Catch him and tear him apart!
*Some of his men hold him back.*
Fishman Pirate 6: Let’s go back to Arlong Park before he destroys everything!
Fishman Pirate 7: Yeah, I agree!
Arlong: Don’t let him get away!
*They start to carry him away.*
???: Don’t worry. We’ll be back. You can all live. For now.
Fishman pirate 2: Let’s go, Kuroobi! He’s getting away!
*The rest of them chase after Usopp.*
Genzo: I’m sorry, everybody. This has all been my fault.
Townsfolk 8: What are you talking about? You’re not a fishman, are you?
Townsfolk 4: But who was that guy who attacked Arlong?
Townsfolk 6: A friend of yours, Genzo?
Genzo: I’ve never seen him before.
Nami: Hello, everyone. It’s good to be home.
*They see Nami with some flowers.*
Nojiko: Nami?
*Everyone but Nojiko and Genzo go back to their homes.*
Nojiko: What’s wrong? You never come walking into Cocoyoshi anymore.
Nami: I heard quite a commotion. Arlong, huh?
*Later, Nami sits next to a grave on the sea side.*
Nami: I only have to get $7 million.
Nojiko: Your already bad reputation just keeps getting worse.
Nami: That’s fine. I am a pirate. Arlong can be a very reasonable guy when he wants to. I just need a little bit more money to finish our agreement. Just 7 million shy of the 100 million goal. You know, it’s really not that high a price considering it’s gonna buy back our village.
*At Arlong park, Zoro sits in Arlong’s throne with unconscious pirates surrounding him.*
Zoro: She tells me to run, but I’ve got nowhere else to go but here. Besides, I promised Luffy I’d bring her back with me. Man, what’s he up to? Cause things are getting messy.
*Luffy, Sanji, Morbius and Yosaku have the sea beast tow their ship.*
Luffy: Yeah, faster!
Morbius: I think I see it up ahead!
Yosaku: Yup, that’s it! That’s Arlong park, dead ahead!
