Call of Cthulhu part 3
*The rest get on the island and start to explore it with Luffy. But it seems normal directions are useless there. Left is right. Up is down.*
Luffy: This place is so weird…
Morbius: And wet.
Usopp: All this seaweed is getting on my legs.
Nami: The tide must be bringing it in whenever it rises.
*The group then enters the city and they find a system of caves.*
Luffy: Where do you suppose this cave leads to?
Nami: I hope it leads to treasure!
*They reach the end of the cave and find a giant sarcophagus.*
Zoro: What is that thing?
Morbius: It’s a sarcophagus.
Luffy: A what?
Nami: It’s something that holds mummies.
Luffy: You think there’s one in that thing?
Zoro: If there is, it would have to be a huge ass one.
*Morbius inspects the sarcophagus.*
Morbius: This thing is much bigger up close.
Usopp: This is the biggest thing I’ve ever seen.
Nami: Just how big is it?
Morbius: I'd say it's a good 120-160 feet tall.
Usopp: I say we don’t open this thing.
Nami: I agree, we don’t know what could be inside it.
Luffy: But I want to know what's inside it.
Nami: No way, Luffy. Whatever is inside could be dangerous.
Luffy: Alright…
Morbius: Then let’s leave-
*But Morbius slips and lands on a lever that begins to open the sarcophagus.*
Nami and Usopp: You idiot!
*Once it’s completely open, it seems like nothing is inside but a pitch black void.*
Luffy: There’s nothing inside.
Zoro: How lame is that?
Usopp: Guess we were worried about nothing.
*But they hear a loud breathing noise coming from inside.*
Morbius: That doesn’t sound good.
???: HHHHHHHHHRRRRR…
*A large hand comes out of the sarcophagus.*
Nami: Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!
Morbius: That thing is huge!
Usopp: Run!!!
*They turn around and start running back to the ship as the creature begins to leave the coffin. They manage to exit to caves and keep running.*
Nami: We’ve gotta get out of here!
*But the creature breaks out from the ground, revealing itself to be the entity the statue was based on, Cthulhu.*
Luffy: Holy Moly!
Morbius: He's so big! He's gotta be like miles big!
Zoro: He’s as big as a mountain!
Nami: It’s going to kill us!
Usopp: Not if we make it back to the ship!
*They try to run back to the ship, but they keep getting lost.*
Nami: We’ll never leave this place!
Usopp: We’re all going to die!
*They take a right turn, but end up falling down.*
Luffy: Damn it! This place is so confusing!
Morbius: Let’s just keep going!
*After many wrong turns and being chased by Cthulhu, they see the Going Merry from the bottom of the cliff side.*
Zoro: There’s the ship!
Morbius: Let’s start climbing down!
Nami: We won’t make it in time!
*Luffy grabs onto Zoro, Morbius, Nami and Usopp.*
Nami: What are you doing?!
Luffy: Getting us back to the Merry!
*He then jumps off the cliff.*
Zoro, Morbius, Nami and Usopp: Luffy!
Luffy: Gum gum balloon!
*Luffy inflates himself like a balloon and softens his landing on the Merry.*
Zoro: Don’t ever do that again…
Usopp: Let’s just leave before things get worse!
*They raise the anchor and start to leave the island.*
Morbius: Phew…
Nami: That was close.
*But Cthulhu jumps off the cliff and lands in the water. It then starts swimming towards them.*
Morbius: It can swim?!
Zoro: On top of having wings, it can
also swim!
*Cthulhu tries using its tentacles to sink the ship.*
Nami: It’s going to sink us!
Zoro: 3 sword style: Oni Giri!
*Zoro manages to cut some of the tentacles, ditching Cthulhu to let them go.*
Luffy: We’re free?
Nami: Don’t celebrate just let, Luffy!
*Cthulhu begins to rise out of the water and faces the ship.*
Usopp: How are we supposed to beat this thing?!
Morbius: I think I have an idea! Usopp, Zoro, gather as much gunpowder as you can!
Zoro: Whatever you’re thinking of better work!
Luffy: Nami, steer the ship away from the giant octopus man!
Nami: No need to tell me twice!
*Cthulhu tries to slam his fist into the ship, Nami manages to move the ship away. Zoro and Usopp manage to gather a lot of gunpowder from below deck.*
Usopp: That’s about half of our gunpowder.
Zoro: Just what are you thinking of doing?
Morbius: We’re going to make a bomb.
Nami: How’s a bomb going to help us?
Morbius: If we can somehow make him eat this, it will probably kill him.
Usopp: But who’s crazy enough to get close to it?
Luffy: I’ll make him swallow it.
Zoro: Well, if we don’t have any other ideas.
*They begin to make a large bomb as Nami keeps steering the ship away from Cthulhu.*
Usopp: It’s done!
Morbius: Alright, we’ve got one shot at this. Don’t screw it up Luffy.
Luffy: Just leave it to me.
Usopp: Here it goes.
*Usopp lights the fuse as Cthulhu gets closer to them.*
Luffy: Gum gum rocket!
*Luffy slingshots himself to Cthulhu’s face holding the bomb behind his back.*
Luffy: Gum gum bazooka!
*Luffy performs a double palm strike at Cthulhu’s face, forcing him to open it’s mouth.*
Luffy: Open wide!
*Luffy then throws the bomb into it’s mouth. The bomb goes off, blowing up Cthulhu’s head and sending Luffy flying back to the Merry.*
Nami: Are you ok, Luffy?
Luffy: I’m fine.
Usopp: Is it dead?
*Then its head bits start to land on the ship.*
Morbius: Yup, it’s dead.
Luffy: That was awesome!
Nami: But mostly disgusting.
*The city then begins to sink into the sea as they sail away.*
Morbius: “When the stars align, Cthulhu will
reawaken to cause chaos again.”
Zoro: Does that mean it will come back?
Morbius: I don't know... but judging by
documents, this won't be the last time Cthulhu rises.
Nami: And if it does come back, let's come up with another way to kill it that doesn't involve its guts flying on us. Now you guys get to work cleaning the ship.
Usopp: Why us?!
