Thor part 7
Fandral: Our dearest friend banished, Loki on the throne, Asgard on the brink of war, yet you've managed to consume four wild boar, six pheasant, a side of beef, and two casks of ale. Shame on you. Don't you care?
Volstagg: Do not mistake my appetite for apathy!
Sif: Stop it, both of you! Stop. We all know what we have to do.
Hogun: We must go. We must find Thor.
Fandral: It's treason.
Volstagg: To hell with treason, it's suicide.
Sif: Thor would do the same for us.
Volstagg: Now shush. Heimdall might be watching.
*A guard walks in.*
Guard: Heimdall demands your presence.
Volstagg: We're doomed.
Heimdall: You would defy the commands of Loki, our king, break every oath you have taken as warriors, and commit treason to bring Thor back?
Sif: Yes.
Heimdall: Good.
Sif: So you'll help us?
Heimdal: I am bound by honor to our king. I cannot open the bridge to you.
*He walks away.*
Fandral: Complicated fellow, isn't he?
Volstagg: Now what do we do?
Sif: Look!
*The bifrost opens, allowing them to go to earth. But Loki sees this and is pissed.*
Agent Coulson: What the hell was that?
Scientist: I don't know, sir. We got massive energy readings out of nowhere and then they just disappeared. Fifteen miles due northwest.
Agent Coulson: Let's go take a look.
*Luffy, Thor and co. eat breakfast.*
Nami: Thanks for making us breakfast.
Jane: It's no problem. You guys are leaving today and you helped us. Least we could do.
*Some agents watch outside.*
Agent: Base to Team 2, we've got activity outside the town.
Agent Coulson: Stay on your target.
*Loki goes to the vault and activates the destroyer.*
Loki: Ensure my brother does not return. Destroy everything.
*Lady Sif and the warriors 3 walk through town.*
Agent 1: Is there a Renaissance Fair in town?
Agent 2: Call it in.
Agent 1: Yeah. Base, we've got Xena, Jackie Chan and Robin Hood.
Erik: It's a beautiful theory, Jane. But you won't be able to convince the scientific community of any of it. Not without hard evidence.
Morbius: Yeah. It’s not like it will come knocking at your door.
*But it does.*
Volstagg: Found you!
Thor: My friends! This is good! This is good.
Erik: I don't believe it.
Morbius: It literally just happened.
Luffy: Who are you guys?
Volstagg: Oh, excuse me. Lady Sif and the Warriors Three.
Zoro: Those are some nice weapons you got there.
Fandral: As do you, mortal.
Thor: My friends, I've never been happier to see anyone. But you should not have come.
Volstagg: We're here to take you home. You know I can't go home.
Thor: My father is dead because of me. And I must remain in exile.
Sif: Thor, your father still lives.
*Loki approaches Heimdall.*
Heimdall: Tell me, Loki, how did you get the Jotuns into Asgard?
Loki: You think the Bifrost is the only way in and out of this realm? There are secret paths between the worlds to which even you, with all your gifts, are blind. But I have need of them no longer, now that I am king. And I say, for your act of treason, you are relieved of your duties as Gatekeeper, and no longer citizen of Asgard.
Heimdall: Then I need no longer obey you.
*Heimdall tries to attack Loki, but he uses the casket of ancient winters to encase Heimdall in ice.*
*Shield investigates the site where lady sif and the warriors 3 arrived.*
Agent Coulson: Get somebody from Linguistics down here.
*but another bifrost portal begins to open.*
*Luffy and the others see it in the distance.*
Darcy: Was somebody else coming?
Luffy: Another one of your friends?
*The Destroyer arrives on earth.*
Agent Sitwell: that one of Stark’s?
Agent Coulson: I don't know. The guy never tells me anything.
*Agent Coulson uses a megaphone.*
Agent Coulson: Hello. You are using unregistered weapons technology. Identify yourself.
Destroyer: …
Agent Coulson: Here we go.
*The agents aim their weapons at it, but the Destroyer uses its heat ray and attacks them.*
Thor: Jane, Luffy, you have to leave.
Jane: What are you gonna do?
Thor: I'm staying here.
Volstagg: Thor's going to fight with us!
Thor: My friends, I'm just a man. I'll only be in the way, or worse, get one of you k*lled. But I can help get these people to safety. Well, if you're staying, then so am I.
Luffy: me too.
Nami: Are you crazy, Luffy?! Who knows what that thing is out there!
Zoro: if he’s staying, then so am I.
Morbius: we’re all gonna die.
Thor: We'll need some time.
Erik: You'll have it!
Darcy: Okay, move it, people!
*They all work together to evacuate the town as the Destroyer makes its way there.*
Sif: Keep it distracted.
*The destroyer uses its heat ray to cause destruction to the town. Fandral and Hogun toss Volstagg towards it.*
Volstagg: For Asgard!
*But it slaps him into a car. Before it can kill him, Sif stabs it from behind. However it didn’t kill it.*
Sif: Fall back!
*It attacks them.*
Luffy: Gum gum pistol!
*Luffy punches it in the head.*
Zoro: Oni giri!
*Zoro crosses his two swords across his chest and places the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them. Zoro then approaches the destroyer and cuts through by swinging the swords across his chest, resulting in a descending diagonal-crossing slash from both swords while the mouth blade performs a horizontal cut.*
Morbius: Take this!
*Morbius runs fast and kicks it in the knee. But none of their attacks work and it flings all three of them like rag dolls.*
Morbius: Ouch…
Luffy: Stupid robot from outer space…
Zoro: What's that thing made out of?
Thor: Sif, you've done all you can.
Sif. No. I will die a warrior's death. Stories will be told of this day.
Thor: Live, and tell those stories yourself.
Now go. You must return to Asgard. You have to stop Loki.
Fandral: What about you?
Thor: Do not worry, my friends. I have a plan.
*Luffy, Zoro, morbius, Sif and the warriors 3 begin to retreat, but Thor walks towards the destroyer.*
Jane: What's he doing?
Nami: He’s going to get himself killed!
Thor. Brother, whatever I have done to wrong you, whatever I have done to lead you to do this, I am truly sorry. But these people are innocent. Taking their lives will gain you nothing. So take mine and end this.
*The Destroyer slaps Thor, gravely injuring him.*
Jane: No.
*Jane runs to him.*
Thor: It's over.
Jane: No. it's not over.
Thor: I mean, you're safe.
Jane: We're safe.
Thor. It's over.
*Thor stops breathing.*
Jane: No…
*But Mjolnir starts flying towards Thor.*
Erik: Jane!
Luffy: Get out of the way, lady!
*Luffy stretches his arm and grabs Jane. Thor wakes up and catches Mjolnir, regaining his powers and armor.*
Jane: Oh. My. God.
*The destroyer attempts to kill Thor, but he uses Mjolnir to destroy the machine.*
Luffy: Awesome!
Jane: So, is this how you normally look?
Thor: More or less.
Jane: It's a good look.
Luffy: That was awesome!
Thor: Thank you.
Morbius: You made that thing into a pile of scraps!
Zoro: Guess that problem is taken care of.
Thor: We must go to the Bifrost site. I would have words with my brother.
