Summary
A teaser of a new drabble I may never finish.  Loki, serving his sentence under SHIELD's supervision after the Chitauri Invasion, is brought into a briefing on account of assumed murders. Instead of condemning him for the unsolved case, he may just have accidentally solved all of the organizations problems by stepping in to meddle.  (basically loki solving true crime cases and fun shit like that bc im a sucker for that kind of stuff)
Note
If you haven't already read the whole summary, this is a teaser for something I just started working and have made exponential progress on in like... a few hours today.I may never update this and turn it into a real fic, but hey, a few crumbs for you to enjoy I guess <3
All Chapters Forward

Chapter One - Teaser

“From what I’ve studied- And I’ve studied a lot,” Stark said, twirling a pencil between his fingers, “Your-” He waggled the pencil at Loki’s face, “Magic emits radiation much like the kind Mr. Eyepatch here talked about. You being held in a containment unit has nothing to do with your magic, does it? Saw that on the helicarrier.” He explained. “After you escaped and all.”

Loki, again, shrugged. “Depends on the kind. Magic is but energy conducted in various ways. The Allfather’s chains I am in now subdue such practices whilst I wear them. Surely Thor explained this before he left, hm?”

Romanoff answered for the group. “He didn’t.”

“Mm. Sounds like him, always forgetting the most important things.” He examined his nails, then the faces around him. “He was never great at magicks, regardless of his power.”

“So, you’re saying this radiation could have something to do with magic, then.” Captain America reiterated. “A magical murderer?”

“That,” Stark sniggered, “Is the worst way you could’ve said that. Magical murderer- You could’ve come up with something better.”

Cap. rolled his eyes. “Not now, Stark.”

“Slaughtering Sorcerer. Congregation Extermination.”

Stark.

He raised his hands in surrender.

Was this what it was like all the time in their little group of misfits? How tiring.

Chapter Two - Teaser

“You said this wouldn’t take all day. It’s been almost two hours already.” Stark said from the intercom. “Aren’t you supposed to be - I don’t know - a professional? Thor said you’re one.”

Loki kept from trailing his hands down his face in exasperation. “I am. Though, this would’ve been faster with a day or two of recovery- without the manacles hindering me for so long.”

Romanoff looked about ready to punch him in the face or fall asleep. He couldn’t quite decide which.

It took another fifteen minutes to finish putting some protection sigils and seals on the walls and to set up the four objects in their places on the circle. Fortunately no one had interrupted him like the last two hours, so now they wouldn’t die if this working went horribly wrong.

“Now what?” Fury murmured. He had been watching the whole ordeal with the thinly veiled gaze of curiosity.

“Now-” Loki clapped his hands together. “You let me move your witless subordinates so the working doesn’t turn them to pewter.”
