Tony Stark's Daughter

We flew to the city Nat and Clint were upfront and I was in the back with Steve.

"You might want to hang on back there," Nat called out to us.

"What is going on?" I look out the window and see flying alien-looking things and look back at Steve.

Nat started to talk to dad and then we were flying towards the tower. Loki was there with Thor and Loki shot at the plane and hit one engine. Steve grabbed me as we started to fly all over the place as they tried to land.

"Hold on."

"Didn't plan on letting go," I told him as we are flung around before we hit the ground hard.

Once we are stopped he lets go of me and looks at me.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, thank you." Clint and Nat walk back and we all walk out. We start to run back to the tower.

"We got to get back up there." We keep running until we are in fount of it and see the portal open. That is when we see a huge worm-looking thing come through.

"It's Galaga," I whispered. Dad starts talking to them and I look around trying to figure out a way to make this work and get people out safe. We were using a car as a shield before Steve took off to help people below.

"I'm going to help get people out."

"Rebekah be safe."

"I know Nat, I got this. You both will be safe as well."

I took off and made my way down the bridge. Telling people to get off the streets and to go to the subway tunnels or basements just to stay off the streets.

Finding my way through I made my way to the others when I heard that Bruce was there and dad was bringing the party to them. Still back a bit I saw them form a circle and it brought a smile to my face.

Even Though Phil was not here to see it he brought them together. He was their reason and I could not help but be proud that they figured out how to work with each other.

Dad told Steve he was in charge and Steve started to tell the others where to go.

"Anyone have eyes on Rebekah?" Dad asked after they all went off.

"I'm fine dad, I should be used to the crazy like this by now."

"Be careful"

"I will, but you should be as well."

"I will work on it."

Continuing to go around and make sure people were out of the way I picked up one of the alien weapons.

"First time for everything," I tell myself as I run to help take as many down as possible.

After shooting the first one the others kept coming my way and I was fighting them off as quickly as possible. Thor came down and helped for a moment when there was a lot.

We worked together to take them down and he was back off.

"Careful Lady Rebekah."

"Thanks, Thor."

Listening to the others talk Clint told us about the bank and I made my way to it. When I got there I saw Steve come flying through the window and land on a car. I ran over to him and helped him down.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, what about you? You're staying safe right?"

"I am don't worried." I saw the people come out and help out where I could.

Looking around I saw more and more coming and we were wearing down fast.

"Steve"

"I know, come on."

I went with him and we continued to fight as much as we could. Thor came and we all worked together. That's when one came behind me and pulled me. At the angle that it grabbed me, I could not get away until Steve and Thor came to help. Once he was down I fell to the ground and Steve helped me up.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, just ready for this to be over."

"I can close it. Can anybody copy? I can shut the portal down."

"Do it."

"No, wait."

"Stark, these things are still coming."

"I got a nuke coming in. It's going to blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it."

"Stark, you know that's a one-way trip."

"Dad Please come back."

"I will do my best."

I watched and then dad flew by with the nuke and went up to the portal before going in and disappearing."
"Daddy"

Then they all started to fall to the ground. We waited but saw nothing.

"Close it." I looked at Steve as a tear fell down my face.

"Come on dad," I whispered to myself as the portal started to close. Once it was closed I saw dad in the sky falling down.

"Son of a gun"

"Daddy" we watch as he keeps falling only for it to look like he was falling faster.

"He's not slowing down." Thor went to get him but Hulk grabbed him first and I watched as they fell to the ground. I ran over to them with the others.

"Is he breathing?" Thor pulls his mask off and we look at dad.

"He's not breathing, Daddy please breathe. Daddy please you have to wake up you promised you would not leave me and that you would always come back. Please daddy don't leave. I still need you. I'm so sorry about our fight, If you wake up I promise I will listen. Just please wake up." Tears were streaming down my face and I fell onto dad's chest. All of the sudden Hulk roared and dad gasped.

"What the hell"

"Daddy, you're alright."

"What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me."

"We won."

"All right, yay. Hurry. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried Shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is but I want to try it."

"We're not finished yet."

"And then shawarma after." I smiled at dad just glad he was alright.

Helping dad up we went to meet the others.

"Are you alright Rebekah? Because you know Pepper will kill me if you're not."

"I'm fine dad. Don't worry about me." We met up with Clint and headed up to the tower where we met Nat.

We were all there watching Loki when he finally got up.

They all went around trying to figure things out with the agents that showed up and I sat on the barstool and watched as it all went down.

"How are you doing?" Nat asked as she came up to me.

"Ready for some downtime. I just spent all that time helping get the work done here and now just as we were done. There is so much to fix."

"So in other words you could use a little downtime?" That was code for the farm.

"It sounds kind of nice, to tell the truth, but I still have so much I need to get done. There was something Peggy told me and I couldn't figure it out but I think I know where to find the answer now. I just need to find time to do so."

"Well, sometimes it is good to take a little downtime, wherever it might be. Just make sure you don't wear yourself out."

"I know Nat. How are you?"

"Taking a break after all of this."

"Well, apparently we are going for shawarma after this so that should be fun."

"Your dad's idea?"

"Always." Clint walked up to us.

"You hanging in that little star?"

"I am, I'm pretty tough."

"One of the toughest people we know."

"Don't forget it." Nat wrapped her arm around me while we watched.

After a while, things were dealt with and we all decided to head out.

"Who's ready for shawarma?" Dad asked as we walked out of the tower.

"Dad, you are way too excited about this."

"Come on, it will be fun." He said before putting his arm on my shoulder as we walked to the Shawarma place.

Once there we got our food and were all sitting quietly eating.

Nat had wanted to sit by me so I was in between her and Steve. I was slowly picking at my food when my phone started to ring.

"Hello"

"Please tell me you are alright. Your dad is not answering and I'm freaking out."

"I'm fine Pepper, dad's fine, we are all fine."

"So you are alive."

"Yes, nothing too serious, some cuts and bruises, but that is pretty normal anymore right."

"I told you to be careful."
"I know Pepper and I promise I was as careful as possible. They all watched out for me."

"Will you be home soon?"

"Yes, we will have to go to the apartment. The tower needs some work."

"Of course it does. I will see you soon. I love you, sweetie. Tell your dad we are talking tonight."

"Will do, see you soon. I love you too." I hung up the phone and they were all looking at me.

"You're talking tonight dad. Have fun with that."

"Well, that's just great."

"Maybe she will be only 12% upset."

"She told you about that."

"Of course she did."

"Sometimes it worries me how close you are."
"You should be happy I love your girlfriend and I'm not parent trapping you guys."

"Because you would if you didn't like her."
"You know it."
"What does that mean?" Steve asked.

"It's a movie, I will show you it later."

"How much time do you spend together?" Dad asked.

"Not that much, I'm always busy taking care of things. Plus I think I am capable of picking out who I spent time with."
"So stubborn, just like your mom."

"And just like you." Nat and the others laughed and we continued to eat food before heading out.

We all went to get cleaned up and get some rest. I quickly showered and was out as soon as I laid down.

The next morning we all got ready and met up to send Thor and Loki off. I watched as we were all gathered and they put the Tesseract into a container thing.

"Goodbye Lady Rebekah, until next time."
"Goodbye Thor, always a pleasure." We all watched as they left and we started to say our goodbyes.

"Are you sure you are alright to get home then?" Dad asked me for the millionth time this morning.

"Yes dad, I need to do something and then I will meet you at the tower."

"Alright, just be careful."

"I will love you, daddy." He hugged me and Bruce walked over.

"See you in a little while."

"See you then." I walked over to Clint and Nat.

"You sure you don't want to come with us."

"I might come out in a few days, just a few things I need to take care of here."

"Well if you decide to come let us know. You are always welcome."

"Thanks, Clint, I promise I just really need to do something first."

"Call me tonight then," Nat told me.

"I will drive safe and I will see you both later." I hugged them both and then they got in the car and drove away. Dad and Bruce also had left.

"So are you staying here all day?" Steve asked behind me.

"No, but I probably should have driven separately from dad today. It's alright though I can call Happy and wait."

"Or I could take you where you need to go."

"You don't need to. I'm sure you have plans already."

"To help you, that is all I have."

"If you are sure."

"Yes, Where do you need me to take you?"

"The club."

"Come on" we went over to his bike and got on.

"I have never ridden one of these."

"Hold on." I wrapped my arms around him and he started the bike before taking off.

We got there all too soon and I let go climbing off after we were parked.

"Thank you, Steve."

"Do you need anything else?"

"No, just have something to take care of here. I will be able to get a ride after I'm not sure how long I will be."

"If you are sure."

"I am, thank you. Maybe we can meet tomorrow and I will show you some more, like parent trap."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Alright see you then." I waved as he left and I then went in.
