First time cuddler
A late rainy Friday night in winter, 10:30 to be exact, great for snuggling.
Akarsha thought so anyways, maybe she should call up and annoy Noelle but its way past the normal time to do that sort of thing. She'll just wait until morning annoy her then. Akarsha wanted to confess her love sooner or later but that thought can wait. As she got ready to sleep, she got a text.
Noelle:
Pls com to rhe door
albret einstong:
Woah you r making typos, how much of a rush r u in
Noelle:
Please
Akarsha was understandably confused , why would she want Akarsha to come to her door, its very rainy and late, theres no way Noelle is in front of the do-
Akarsha opened her door and there she was. Noelle was in front of her door, wet and hyper ventilating. She must have ran here as fast as she could. Upon looking closer she was also holding a travelling bag?
Akarsha gestured Noelle to get in.
"Uhh soo why are you in such a rush this late......."
Upon getting inside and the rain getting quieter, Akarsha noticed that Noelle wasn't wet from just the rain, she was crying.
"You don't have to answer now, uhh take a shower, get dressed, and we can talk then." Akarsha suggested.
Noelle gave a nod and Akarsha guided her to the shower.
Many thoughts were rushing through Akarsha.
Why would she be here this late?
Why is she crying?
Why did she bring a bag with her?
Just why?
"Hey..." Noelle softly said, interrupting her thoughts.
Akarsha's attention was on Noelle, who was now in her pajamas.
"Did you bring your own clothes?"
"Yeah i packed them in the bag, along with text books and other essentials."
"Why did you pack them?"
Noelle looked visibly sad to hear that
"Oh sorry, uhh we don't have to discuss that right now"
"Yeah but we should" "I'm sorry, I'm just *sob* not very good with this sort of stuff and-"
Noelle felt warm things going around her, warm hands.
Warm and cozy. Akarsha was hugging her. It was the coziest feeling she ever felt.
"Akarsha, can we go to your room"
Akarsha looked a bit nervous but ultimately, she guided Noelle way to her room. And onto her bed. She dimmed the lights and their conversation begins.
"Welcome to my lair, Misuer Robot" Akarsha cracked a little joke, expecting Noelle to crack something back or be slightly in a better mood.
Noelle laughed, not a little chuckle. A full giggle set from just that. After a solid 20 seconds. Noelle clarified
"That particular joke, it was okay. But that laugh was all for everytime I would've laughed at every joke you have made."
"Hehe, if that were true I'm sure you'll die of laughter, Frenchman"
The mood was lighter but there was something inevitable they have to discuss. And the person first grit their teeth and bring up was....
"So as to why I'm here, well. I had a discussion with my mother, which turned into an arguement, which I am fairly accustomed to by this point but." Noelle's voice started getting softer. Akarsha held Noelle's hand.
Noelle flashed a small smile at Akarsha.
"She started to say that *deep breath* my relationships should be kept at a minimum. Which she says a lot so i just ignored most of it, but then she said that she won't
let me *sob* its so stupid, I shouldn't have gotten so mad but." Akarsha had wrapped her hand around her.
"She had heard from somewhere that you were bi, maybe from that post on your mom's facebook page
And well, in summary, she wouldn't let me be around you anymore. I just, I just couldn't, I shouted and screamed and it was childish. I don't know why I was so defensive of you. But, you. Akarsha, you are incredibly kind, funny and I, I don't think I'm ready to leave y-t-that." After a bit of silence , Noelle started to regret her wording. God does Akarsha think I'm a creep? I didn't want this exact thing , to be in an Akarshaless world, what if she-
*Squeeze* Akarsha was hugging Noelle, this time very tightly. Warm, very warm. Noelle hugged right back tears started flooding out of Noelle's eye.
Noelle was crying on Noelle's shoulder.
After quite a bit, Noelle backed up.
"Thank you so so much for that" Noelle said.
"Yeah, no problem, but so like..... You gonna stay here or something?"
"I do hope so, though thats up to your parents"
"I think you could sleep in my sister's room, she went to college recently"
"Yeah, sounds good. Just thank you so much, Akarsha. I don't think I can ever pay you back."
"Its fine, really. Just really glad that you're okay through that."
"Oh yeah, for the time being i have an extra blanket in the closet, use it like mattress, it also comes with a pillow." Akarsha pointed out.
Noelle set up her blanket mattress and prepared for bed as she took a glance at the clock : 0:21
Very late, luckily. Tomorrow was a Saturday. She could discuss things later. Time for bed.
"Okay, I'm turning off the lights!" Akarsha exclaimed.
Noelle gave an Okay sign and tried to sleep.
Akarsha was on her bed going side-to-side, trying to sleep when she heard some sort of noise coming from
close to Noelle. Matter of fact, it was from Noelle, she was sobbing a bit.
"You can come sleep on my bed if you'd like" Akarsha meekly suggested.
Noelle turn to Akarsha "Oh uh, its fine really, sorry if I disturbed you."
After a good 30 seconds later. Noelle was still sobbing, albeit this time a bit quieter.
*Squeeze* from behind was Akarsha, cuddling her.
"A-akarsha- what are you-" "Aw c'mon, you know you would've been too stubborn to admit you were feeling lonely" "You don't even need to acknowledge it, just enjoy the moment!"
Noelle's brain was fuzzy but she felt a ton of feelings.
Just, just so so comfy. Warmth, love, many feelings she never felt from her mother.
Noelle turned to face Akarsha and whispered a quick thank you, then cuddled Akarsha back. The warmth on the stormy late night.
Akarsha and Noelle's thoughts were summed up as pretty much " I love you"
