Rosie had known for quite a while, honestly, if she and Emily went around the entire campus with a survey, the answer everyone would put would be ‘yes, Otto and Norman are dating’. It was no secret to their friend group. Hell, the girls even helped the boys get together at some points early on “what’s German for ‘actuator’?” Otto groaned, throwing his head back in annoyance “have you got nothing better to do?” Norman smirked, waving a copy of a comic book in his hand “nope, now answer the question” Emily giggled as she watched the pair, exchanging looks between them “stellglied, now leave me alone”
Curt snorted, eyes still on his book. He had been engrossed in it, listening to Norman bother Otto for the past half hour. Ever since he learnt Otto was German and English wasn’t his first language, he had been begging for him to speak some. Otto didn’t understand why Norman was suddenly so interested in his native language, but he would sometimes just humour him “I was thinking…” he looked up to Rosie, who had spoke up “why don’t we go to the club tonight?”
“the one down the street?” She nodded, clarifying Emily’s question “I’m down, Connors?” He shrugged simply, closing the book and adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose “don’t see why not” Otto jumped out of his skin when Rosie slammed her hand down onto the desk, getting an aggressive shush from the librarian “let’s make it interesting, shall we? Norman” he met her eyes, a gleam of mischief in them “heads or tails?” Without knowing the consequences or what exactly he was signing up to, Norman smirked “heads”
Emily passed Rosie a coin and watched as she tossed it up into the air and caught it, slamming it into the back of her hand “tails, you lose” Otto rubbed the bridge of his nose under his glasses, sighing “what’s the price?” Questioned Curt, who was suddenly very interested in this little game of Rosie’s “Norman has to go up on stage in drag” Otto almost choked when the words came out of her mouth as Emily started howling with laughter, the group getting another angry shush. Perhaps the library wasn’t the best place to hang out
“I’ve already got the perfect outfit” Norman thought for a second. It all depended on how he played it. He could back out and save himself from complete and utter embarrassment, or he could give it his all, proving Rosie wrong. Not to mention, if he was lucky, he might be able to get Otto just riled up enough for some fun later than night “I’m in”

the group sat around a table near the stage, crowds were gathering and lights were shining. Curt eyed Otto carefully as he fidgeted with the seam of his hoodie. He and Norman had checked on Otto a couple times, especially Norman, making sure he was ok with everything. The last thing he needed was Otto shutting down or going into a sensory overload “hey” he looked up upon hearing a whisper “you don’t have to do this, dear” he smiled and sipped his drink, staring at the stage “yeah, and lose to Rosie? Fat chance” he took Otto’s hand and squeezed it, smiling softly “we can leave at anytime, just say the word” he reached up and stroked his cheek, watching as Otto closed his eyes “I’m alright, for now”
”ready when you are, lover boy” he looked to Rosie, who was smugly holding out a bag of clothes, makeup and wig that was hanging off her finger. She really had prepared for this. He stood up and snatched the bag, winking at Otto before making his way to the bathrooms. He turned back just enough to see Rosie and Emily fist bumping proudly, he’ll show them. Once he made it to the bathroom, luckily empty, he closed the stall door and pulled out what was in the bag
a black slim fitting dress, heels, clip on earrings and a long, blonde wig were bundled up nicely in the bag. He pulled out the wig, eyeing it. Jesus, how was he going do this? He didn’t exactly think this through. Never mind that, he has a show to put on. It wasn’t 20 minutes later, that he heard a knock on the door. His heart jumped out of his chest but he soon relaxed upon hearing a familiar voice “Norman? It’s just me, can I come in?” He hummed as he peered into the mirror, trying not to stab himself in the eye with this stupid mascara wand
he heard the door opening and turned to see a still Otto, in pure shock. He stared, struggling to find the words “well? Say something, hun” he chuckled, smearing on some lipstick before chucking it into the bag. When Otto failed to say anything, he strode up to him and pressed his hand to his cheek “hey, are you ok?” His eyes widened when Otto pulled him in and pressed his reds lips to his. When he pulled away, he was breathing heavily and his mouth was smudged with red lipstick “you look ravishing” he smirked, kissing him one last time and patting him on the shoulder “get out of here, you, I’ll see you in the crowd”
Rosie smirked as Otto returned and Curt nodded at him knowingly, as Emily smirked downing a shot. This was definitely going to be interesting. Before long, music started and Otto once again, caught himself staring as Norman strutted onto the stage. The dress sparkled in the lights, just adding more beauty to his already beautiful look. He winked at Otto before grabbing the pole and twirling around it, lip syncing to some some Otto was unfamiliar with. He watched in enchantment, almost like he was under a spell, one only Norman Osborn possessed “woooo, get ‘em, tiger!” Emily shouted, her hands coming up to cup her mouth as Rosie cheered, clapping and encouraging him to go on
Curt joined in on the cheering, although not as loud as the girls. Norman danced on the stages, how he was managing to dance in heels was beyond Otto. He knew Norman had never done this before, so it amazed him that his partner was doing this so effortlessly. Maybe he was just good at everything. He could see Norman’s binder through the dress, and the curly blonde hair framed his features far too well. As soon as the show finished, well, at least his part Norman took a microphone and pointed at the table “screw you, Rosalie! You thought I’d back down? Nah, girl, I will slay throughout my entire life! I never back down from a challenge!” Well, that was definitely true. He watched as he left and as soon as he was gone, the three immediately turned to Otto, who was bright red
“Need some water, love?” Emily asked sweetly, giggling at how red her friend was “n…no, I’m good” Rosie chuckled, crossing her arms and leaning back in the chair “ok, I’ll admit, I didn’t expect that” Curt shook his head fondly, stealing one of Emily’s chips, making her gasp “don’t play with Osborn, I guess” Emily punched his arm playfully “those are my chips! Get your own!” Otto jumped when he felt contact with his shoulder and sighed with relief seeing it was just Norman “you were fantastic, Norm!” Cheered Rosie, smirking at him as he sat down “yeah, great, Virge” she mumbled as she went back to hitting Curt. He chuckled as he watched her attack Curt and then turned to his lover, who smiled proudly “I love you so much” he admitted, admiring his partners features “I love you too, you dork”
