Chapter 6
..
..
There's an exhaustion inducing pounding inside his head.
He wonders just how many energy drinks he had to have drank to get this level of headache and strung out feeling of exhausted that comes from having way too much caffeine and nowhere near enough food or sleep.
He groans, clenches his eyes back tight shut, his head freaking hurts and he's freaking tired as hell, his eyes burn and throb in time with his head, the back of his head feels like it's going to explode, his neck hurts there just under it.
His ears are ringing.
His mouth is dry
His eyes are gritty.
He's sore everywhere actually now that any small amount of awareness of the rest of his body's existence comes filtering in with increasing levels of wakefulness.
Why can't he just slip back peaceful painless embrace of unconsciousness?
His senses ping, not his senses in the sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch type senses but his other senses..
He's waking up but he isn't alone..
"Aunt May?" He grits out because his brain isn't fully online and while his senses tell him he isn't alone they're not telling him he's in any danger and there isn't a lot of people that could be near him in a State like this without him getting some kind of danger sense vibes and no one else would be in his home unless Ned stayed the night .
Did Ned stay the night?
Oh right ..
There it is.
Good old memory kicking back into order.
May is gone, buried next to Ben and his parents.
Ned no longer remembers him.
Just who the hell is in his apartment?
