
The Worst is Yet To Come Chapter Two
Tony sighed. He knew the car wouldn’t stop until it ran out of gas, and sending it away had protected the team, but he also knew that he had just thrown his escape route out the window. His visor slammed down, and he stood erect, causing the thrusters to turn on. He flew over the thing, and he suddenly fell from the air, his arc reactor attaching to a giant chunk of metal, acting like a magnet. Thanos smiled. “Hello.”
“Hi.” Tony said, with a grimace. Thanos smiled to see that Tony was in pain. Tony was hovering about six feet off the ground, with his arc reactor stuck to the metal.
“I see you’re alone this time.” Thanos said.
Tony nodded.
“Where did you send them, Stark?” Thanos said.
“Who?” Tony said, grimacing at his lame response.
“I think you know who I mean.” Thanos said. He clapped twice, and Tony disconnected from the metal, falling to the ground. Outriders surrounded him, and he stood up.
I’ll fight this out if I have to. Tony thought.
