=August 18th, 2020=
=Mount Olympus, Empire State, 600th Floor=
KAILEENA EVE 'KAL' POSEIDONIA stood before the Gods of Olympus with her arms folded softly in front of her, an expressionless face stared up at them with hard dark blue eyes that swirled with emotions like a storm reminding them all who she was the daughter of. Years ago, fifteen to be exact, she had stood before them after her first quest and reminded them just who her father was behind that calm facade, he was the very definition of calm before the storm.
Her silver hair streaked with the bright platinum she had before she held the sky was pulled from her face and half tied in her Atlantean braids with curls flowing over her shoulders and down her back. The dragon, her symbol, was shown in a glittering pendant of diamonds atop her long-split overcoat. She was waiting for them to speak, and they had enough respect for her to not keep her waiting, after all, she had been offered Godhood more than thrice and could hold her own against the entire council.
"We have finally found the perfect gift to show our gratitude for all you have done since you declined Godhood." Zeus boomed from his throne and many snickers were hidden as she hadn't been that kind when turning down Godhood. She had stated plainly that while immortality would be accepted, she didn't want the duties that came with full-blooded Ichor.
"Lord Zeus?" She questioned having grown to respect the God she had fought alongside against Gaia. She had grown to respect each council member, including Ares and Athena. There was a mutual respect amongst the fifteen, four of which held the domains she was the Blessed Champion of.
"With the help of Primordial Aether, we will be able to open a portal once to a universe without Godly or Paranormal interference. Should you accept, you would have seven hours to gather your belongings and say your goodbyes." Zeus announced and emotion filled Kal's face. This was all she wished for, a chance to live without monsters, be seen as a human, and to walk down the street without being regarded with wary expressions.
"I accept." Her words echoed through the silence and her father lowered his head in acceptance. She offered them all a soft smile. "I will return to spend my last hour here." She had three places to travel before she returned so she left quickly, stalking out of the room with perfect posture and the grace of a panther.
Atlantis was the furthest and so that was where she ventured first. She went straight to her chambers and pulled out her Circlet, the blue gemstone held a Pocket Dimension, a gift from Aether himself. The Aether held hundreds of storage containers, portable houses, garages, and trunks. Grabbing the silver trunks from her closet, she gripped her Stele between her fingers and began weaving a runic sequence to direct her Cosmic Energy watching as her trunks packed themselves.
Her room was packed in minutes and the glowing circle of golden runes faded as the final trunk clicked shut with an audible sound. A glace around the empty space which held her so many memories left her eyes glassy from the tears which filled her eyes. After the wars, she spent a lot of time here and when waking up from nightmares or breaking down, her father, stepmother, and brothers were there to comfort her and cheer her up. They helped her pick up her pieces and build herself back up better than ever.
Exiting she went and said a short, but emotional goodbye to her stepmother and brother who had heard the news already and had prepared goodbye gifts. From Triton she received a set of blue trunks filled with gemstones, seashells, gold, silver, books, a set of weapons and armor, a set of water vehicles, and Watercrystals.
From Amphitrite she received a set of sea foam green trunks filled with gemstones, gold, and silver like Triton along with thousands of outfits she must have gotten Aphrodite to help design, materials to make more clothing, thousands of pairs of shoes, many sets and singles of jewelry, feminine things like perfume and makeup, magical items, royal treasures, and a set of Powercrystals.
Kal pulled them both into tight hugs, she was happy to go, but she would miss them. "I'm going to talk to Aether, maybe one day a year you all can visit me." She whispered as they pulled her back into a hug.
Amphitrite sniffed primly and chuckled sadly. "We'll be there if we can." She said before letting Kal step back to Vapor Travel to Camp Half-Blood. She was glad everyone was in the dining pavilion so she could do this alone. She stood outside her old cabin, long and short, filled with the scent of the sea and a nice breeze always flowing. She let out a watery chuckle as she remembered all the good times, running her finger across the Minotaur Horn on the wall, she had the original but had faced him more than once. There were many spoils of war on the wall, but this was her first, even if not really.
Straightening and tightening her grip on her emotions, she let them flow slowly as she worked to pack the things she kept in the cabin. Bowls of sand dollars, Drachmae, and blue gemstones her dad would replace. Her clothes, pictures, and other such things went next. She looked at the trident hanging on the wall and a smile came to her face. This was her first home, but it wasn't home anymore, and it was time to wait for another child of Poseidon to take the mantle. Not quite yet though, no God was having children at the moment.
Walking out of the cabin, she came face to face with a sad Chiron who gave her a sad smile. "We will miss you, Kaileena Poseidonia." He stated and Kali gave him a half-hug which he returned before she stepped back. "Never forget where you come from, Khal."
A wink and nod to the man brought a smile to his face as she faded into water vapor. Her trip to Camp Jupiter was much shorter. She packed up her things in the cabin, gave a wave to the training half-bloods, and then faded back to Olympus. She reappeared and stood before the council was Aether himself dressed in a white suit.
"Khal Nerys." He greeted with a bow of his head which she returned with one of her own. "I heard what you had discussed with Amphitrite, and it is doable. You will see them once every year, but remember, time works at different speeds."
He faded away into light and Kal rolled her eyes and looked at the council who seemed awestruck and happy. "To be a God... Such work." She said cheekily making Zeus and Hera grumble while others laughed at her cheek.
"Khal, are you all packed?" Demeter questioned and Kal nodded. She was a Khal, Khal Nerys to be exact, but she didn't like to be so formal all the time. Kahl meant King, but Khal Nerys meant Queen of Kings. It was her title and she loved it as it was strong and proud and showed just who she was.
"I am. Now, let's have some fun." She offered gaining nods. Two hours were spent playing games and saying goodbyes. The entire council gave her different trunks. God, silver, and gemstones were the common factor. She got lots of feminine items from Aphrodite, seed and plants from Demeter, alcohol from Dionysus, etc.
Standing before the council as a ball of light appeared and spread into a swirling mirror-like portal, she waved to the Gods once before walking into the portal with tears in her eyes.
