the morning after!
The next morning found Andrea sat eating breakfast with Zemo and Andrea (dressed in some more of Zemo’s clothes which seemed to please the other man). Bucky was cooking for them, turns out Bucky was an excellent cook and liked to do so in just his boxers, making the breakfast A+ in Andrea’s book.
“Here you go, your majesty.” Bucky said with a teasing grin as he placed at plate of food in front of Zemo who was just dressed in his robe once again, showing off half of his chest.
Andrea looked at the 2 men confused.
“Why that pet name?” He asked.
“Oh, because I’m a Baron.” Zemo said like it was the most natural thing in the world.
‘What?’
“Seriously?” Andrea asked at which Zemo nodded.
It did explain the expensive house and expensive things but all Andrea could think was that he made out with a Baron.
“Is that a problem?” Zemo asked.
Andrea shook his head.
“Not at all, just a surprise.” Andrea said.
That was the end of that conversation, especially when Bucky set a plate of food down in front of Andrea, sitting down with his own. Andrea dug into his food and that was the end of that. It wasn’t like it changed anything anyway.
At the end of breakfast, there was a knock at the front door
“That’ll be Schmidt.” Bucky explained, answering the unspoken question.
Bucky stood up, leaving the kitchen to answer the door, still in his boxers. Whoever was at the doorway going to get an eyeful.
‘Oops.’
Andrea heard muffle voice chatting before Bucky entered the kitchen again with his guest.
‘Wait a minute.’
“Ernst?” Andrea asked, confused.
“Andrea, thank god. I thought it was your car that was brought to me.” Schmidt said.
“You 2 know each other?” Bucky asked.
Andrea nodded.
“He’s my brothers husband.” Andrea explained.
Something seemed to click inside Bucky’s mind, Zemo could see the cogs turning.
“Hold up, your doctor brother, his husband is Dr Laszlo Kreizler?” Bucky asked at which both men nodded. “Oh god, I’m dating and made out with my therapists baby brother.”
If Andrea didn’t know better he’d say Bucky was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
“Hold up, what?” Schmidt asked.
“Speaking off, don’t you have a session with Dr Kreizler this morning?” Zemo asked which earned him a glare from his husband.
“Not the time, doll.” Bucky pointed out.
Zemo just smile, seeming to love this minor drama that was happening, even if Andrea wasn’t sure it was a big deal.
“Speaking of my husband.” Schmidt said. “He been worried sick about you Andrea, why didn’t you call?”
Andrea looked down, feeling guilty for worrying Laszlo.
“My phone died.” Andrea explained.
“You didn’t think to ask 1 of these assholes for their phone?” Schmidt asked, sounding very much like a mother lecturing a wayward child.
“It didn’t cross my mind.” Andrea said sheepishly, besides he was a bit busy that night.
Schmidt sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket.
“Call your brother.” Schmidt said handing Andrea his phone.
“You can use the parlour, darling.” Zemo said.
Andrea smiled in thanks.
He stood up and left the kitchen, entering the parlour. He really did need to call his brother. He dialled his brothers number, which he noted was under a cutesy pet name, and let it ring.
Laszlo picked up almost immediately.
“Schatz, how are you?” Laszlo asked.
“Um, Las, it’s me.” Andrea said before wincing with how awkward it sounded.
“Andrea, where are you? What happened?” Laszlo asked, tone much more urgent than it was before.
“I’m at Bucky’s and Zemo’s. Schmidt’s here too. My car broke down last night.” Andrea explained, giving the cliff notes version.
“You’re safe?” Laszlo asked.
“I’m safe.” Andrea agreed.
‘A bit more than safe.’
“How did you wind up at the home of 1 of my patients and his husband?” Laszlo asked.
‘That’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it.’
“I bumped into Bucky at the bar and he took me back to his.” Andrea explained.
‘With a few steps in between.’
“So, you weren’t home with strangers?” Laszlo asked making Andrea cringe, it wasn’t his smartest move in the world.
“I was alone and it was dark, plus they seemed nice.” Andrea muttered.
Andrea could hear Laszlo sigh on the other side of the phone, a sigh he was all too familiar with. It was a sigh that said that Andrea had done something stupid without realizing it and was making Laszlo feel older than his years.
“All’s well that ends well, I suppose.” Laszlo muttered.
“That’s the spirit.” Andrea said.
“I will be having a chat with Bucky when he shows up for his appointment.” Laszlo said.
“Why do I feel like I need to warn Bucky?” Andrea joked.
“Maybe you do, maybe you don’t.” Laszlo said.
Andrea wasn’t sure if he liked the sound of that or not. Bucky’s therapy appointment should be interesting.
“Now that I know that you’re not dead in a ditch somewhere.” Laszlo said, a pang of guilt shooting through Andrea. “I should get back to work.”
Andrea should’ve expected that knowing how absorbed Laszlo could get into his work. Schmidt often had to drag him out of his office and into the kitchen for some food or to their bedroom to ‘relax.’ Not that Schmidt was much better.
A match made in Heaven.
“Alright, I’ll let you get back to your work.” Andrea said with a small smile.
“Love you Andrea.” Laszlo said.
“Love you too Laszlo.” Andrea said.
With that Laszlo hung up the phone.
Andrea re entered the kitchen finding that some of the tension from earlier had dissipated.
‘Thank god.’
Andrea handed Schmidt his phone back.
“All good?” He asked.
Andrea nodded.
“All good but he wants to talk to Bucky when they have their session.” Andrea said.
“Of course, he does.” Bucky muttered, slumping in the seat next to his husband. The only sympathy Zemo offered him was a pat on his cheek, seeming to enjoy his misery.
“It won’t be so bad.” Andrea said, trying to comfort him, pressing a quick kiss to Bucky’s cheek.
“It might be that bad.” Schmidt said not helping the situation and especially not helping Bucky’s internal panic.
Andrea glared at his brother-in-law who held his hands up in surrender.
“You should have to deal with the doctor.” Bucky muttered petulantly at Zemo.
“I’m not the 1 in therapy my dear.” Zemo said.
“You should be.” Bucky muttered in the same tone.
Zemo shrugged.
“Probably.” He said, the 2 of them delving into conversation, Andrea turning to Schmidt.
That didn’t exactly fill Andrea with confidence and not for the first time he was wondering what he had gotten himself into.
‘Fantastic.’
“You sure these 2 are the ones you want to be with?” Schmidt asked.
“Unfortunately.” Andrea said. “Besides they’re sweet.”
“Sweet?. That grumpy bastard and that cocky son of a bitch?” Schmidt asked.
Andrea nodded.
“They’re sweet to me.” Andrea said.
“I’ll have to take your word for it.” Schmidt said.
Andrea barely concealed his eye roll.
“Oh, before I forget.” Schmidt said.
He dug into his pocket and pulled out Andrea’s car keys and handed them to Andrea.
‘Finally.’
“I’ll pay you back for the work.” Andrea said.
“It’s already been paid for.” Schmidt said.
“By whom?” Andrea asked.
Schmidt nodded his head to Zemo.
‘When did he have the time to do that?’
“Zemo?” Andrea asked, Zemo pausing in his conversation with Bucky.
“Yes, angel?” Zemo asked, Andrea smiling slightly at the pet name.
“Did you paid Schmidt to have my car fixed?” He asked.
“Maybe I did.” Zemo said, pulling Andrea into his lap.
Andrea figured that was Zemo’s way of saying he did.
“Thank you.” Andrea said, pressing a chaste kiss to Zemo’s lips.
“I’ll leave you guys to your domestic bliss.” Schmidt said.
“I’ll walk you out, I should get ready for my appointment.” Bucky sighed.
Bucky and Schmidt left the kitchen.
“I should probably get home too.” Andrea said, reluctantly, not wanting to move from Zemo’s lap.
“You could stay here for a little while longer, sweetheart. We don’t mind.” Zemo said, brushing strands of Andrea’s hair away from his face.
Andrea sighed.
“I would love nothing more than to do that.” Andrea said before smiling. “But I need to get home and practice. Got to make sure that it’s perfect for when you see me preform.”
“I’m sure you’ll be wonderful no matter what.” Zemo said, pressing a chaste kiss to Andrea’s lips, loving the faint blush that lit up his cheeks.
Reluctantly, Andrea slid off Zemo’s lap, barely concealing his amusement at Zemo’s pout.
“This isn’t the last time you’re going to see me, Zemo.” Andrea said.
“Where’s the puppy going?” Bucky asked as he reappeared in the kitchen, fully dressed this time.
“He has to go home to practice his music.” Zemo explained.
“I thought we were keeping him.” Bucky said.
“I’m not a possession, Bucky.” Andrea pointed out.
“I know that.” Bucky said before muttering. “I just like having you here.”
A wide smile broke out on Andrea’s face at the sweet statement.
“You know you’re awfully sweet for a biker.” Andrea said, leaning up so that he lips were brushing against Bucky’s.
Not allowing the younger man time to tease him, Bucky threaded his fingers through the soft brown hair, pulling him into a bruising kiss. Andrea gasped at the action giving Bucky an opportunity to slip his tongue inside, mapping out every inch of Andrea’s mouth and all Andrea could do was submit to the possessive kiss.
When they broke apart, Andrea said.
“You know, you make a strong case for me to stay.”
“Is it convincing enough?” Bucky asked.
Andrea thought about it for a moment.
“Almost.” He said, kissing away the pout that Bucky would deny until the day he died.
“Maybe I should give you something to make sure that you come back to us.” Bucky teased.
“I’m already wearing Zemo’s clothes.” Andrea said.
“Which I wholly approve of.” Zemo piped up.
“Wait here a second.” Bucky said, disappearing before Andrea could argue with him.
‘Guess I’ll wait here.’
Bucky wasn’t gone long, quickly returning with the leather jacket that Bucky was wearing when they first met.
He handed it to Andrea.
“Take this.” He said.
Andrea opened his mouth to refuse before realizing that he really didn’t want to.
He slipped on the jacket and brought the leather up to his nose, inhaling the scent of leather and something distinctly Bucky.
‘Fuck.’
“How mad do you think Laszlo would be if we kidnapped his brother?” Zemo said, feeling awfully possessive at the sight of Andrea wrapped up in both his and Bucky’s clothes, their mark on his.
Andrea shook his head fondly.
“I’ll be back.” He said. “And to answer your question, Laszlo would be pissed.”
“Shame.” Zemo said.
Andrea rolled his eyes and pulled Bucky into a quick but no less passionate kiss. When they broke apart, he did the same with Zemo. This time when they broke apart, Zemo pulled a pen out of seemingly nowhere and wrote 2 phone numbers on Andrea arms.
“Call us, darling.” Zemo said with a downright filthy smirk.
Andrea felt himself blush which he seems to do a lot in Bucky and Zemo’s presence.
“I’ll see you guys soon.” Andrea said.
Bucky and Zemo said their goodbyes and Andrea finally managed to slip out of the house, only feeling minor disappointment that he couldn’t stay for longer.
Schmidt had left his car in the driveway next to Bucky’s bike.
‘Perfect.’
Andrea got in the car, happy to see that nothing had been stolen in the time it had taken to get some help.
‘Thank god.’
Even his phone was he had left it, out in the open which might’ve not been the smartest move but Andrea wasn’t thinking clearly that night.
‘Oops.’
Andrea dug his keys out of his pocket and slipped them into the ignition.
He drove off, finally make his way home, far later than he was supposed to.
‘Not my fault.’
He wasn’t sure if he was going to get a lecture from his brother when he got there but given how much Laszlo liked giving them the chance was higher than it probably should’ve been. Laszlo did have a talent for lecturing anyone and everyone.
