"Regarding Season 2 + Story"
Hello to those who somehow still follow this story/account/whatever-this-is-that-I-made.
If you are following this in any way, honestly, I applaud you.
Now just to clarify:
NO, I have not given up on this story.....
like, at all......
Especially when considering the fact that as of writing this update, there was quite the content update in regards to Arcane's Second Season.
Between the new poster (that's heavily reminiscent of season one) and short clip of our favorite pink-haired brawler working alongside Caitlyn, things are getting pretty serious with our characters.
Now how will this effect me and my story?
Well, only since it's still months away from this current time, it most likely won't.
Considering where I'm at, things could definitely be worse......and they were worse at one point.
"What do you mean by that."
Well, when I was initially writing a brief segment in Episode 9, I had made a "secret backstory" regarding my character Jack. I'm not gonna say much of it, in case i find a loop around that still makes it work, but i ended up finding a huge "time skip" gap regarding his birth with another set of characters that don't line up quite well. I'm really hoping it works out in the end, cause even if my custom background might flop I'm hoping the concept is at least unique enough for people to enjoy.
Now with all this talk of the story, your probably wondering: "what the heck is taking him so long?"
It's mainly because of the way that I'm writing.
[and the occasional, lovely, unwanted procrastination when i do get to it xD]
Now what I mean by that is i started with taking the scripts from each episode and putting them all on one Google Doc. This is where I'm writing out the story too. Anyways, after i have the spoken dialogue from the show, I'm also rewatching the show at the same time; so i can mark down who says what.
(At the current moment, I'm just wrapping up Episode 5 and about to start Episode 6)
So once i get done with the show and figure out the dialogue, I'll most likely do another "rewatch while writing" so I can give more visual context in my writing too.
As a matter of fact, that also reminded me of my Episode plans:
Given the amount of time that i try to do for this story {cause of a funny event named Life}, i aim to have Episode One done before mid-July; Along with, fingers crossed, Episodes Two and Three released sometime in August. All in all, my goal for the rest of the year is to have Act One and Two completed. It would also give me a chance to not only watch Season Two, but to see if it could be incorporated in what I am doing story wise.
