Spider-Man is dead
“May Parker thanks our national wide hero once again for saving humanity in the final battle making an ultimate sacrifice, exchanging his life for the sake of the humankind.
Spider-Man was once one of our most faithful vigilante New York had after the blip that erased half of the population. Spider-Man helped rebuild the society after dealing with his own loss.
He explains in one interview in 2025 that he himself feels responsible for the death of the people we lost, precisely his Family, friends, and his mentor Tony Stark.
Tony Stark and Spider-Man were sharing a deep bond they build over the years, teaming up for a lot of avenger level threats.
Tony Stark himself bragged back in 2018 that Spider-Man and him spend time in his personal lab together, and Spider-Man is a genius himself.
“Losing Mr. Stark was hard.” Spider-Man tells them. “He wasn’t just a mentor to me. He was a Friend and my childhood hero too.”
Tony Stark death inspired Spider-Man to find a way to bring everyone back, and he assembles the new generation of Avengers to solve the case.
“I needed to bring him back, everything would have been pointless if I didn’t at least try, and who knows? Maybe Thanos wasn’t done with us after all? It was just a logical response.”
6 Years after everyone blip, the Avengers go to their next and hopefully last mission to defeat Thanos once and for all.
Doctor strange, Captain America, Thor, The Falcon, The Black widow, Wanda, and the Ant man travel in time and space together with Spider-Man to retrieve the Stones.
They succeed, but it came with the great loss of our Captain America, who offered his soul for one infinity stone. The loss hits deep, but may he Rest In peace.
Captain America will never be forgotten.
Spider-Man once again explains that without Tony Stark, he never would have invented Time Travel and risk the life he had built for himself. It is bittersweet that they never fully reunited and Spider-Man died a heroic death, snapping and bringing everyone back and killing Thanos for good this time.
Stark still hasn’t spoken to any press or media’s and refuses to give any Statements at the moment but from insiders we know, Tony Stark has a heart and is still grieving his companion.
Spider-Man’s identity is still a secret, but we know that under that mask, was a true hero.
Even after two years, Spider-Man is in our hearts.
May he rest in peace!
May Parker, formal manager of Spider-Man, reminds us folks once again that she funded a Foundation. A Rehabilitation company to help people find back to life after the Blip. If you got a penny to spare, visit the GoFundMe.
And now on the next page, Doctor Strange fighting Scarlet Witch and getting promoted as the new sorcerer supreme.”
2 Weeks before Peter's arrival , Earth-1610.
“This is bullshit!” He yelled. “Who published this, huh? Bittersweet? What do they know? Nothing!”
Angry, he stomped through the kitchen. He throws the paper on the counter, sitting down on one of the kitchen chairs.
“Are you reading this, Pepper?”
Pepper drinks a sip from her still hot coffee, looking up at him with a raised brow.
“Tony, they are honoring him. They say he is a hero, why is that such a bad thing?”
Pepper shakes her head, walking around the kitchen counter. She sits beside him, rubbing his back.
“Why - Why is it a bad thing? Sprouting nonsense around, saying he did the ultimate sacrifice? Peter deserves better than some shitty articles of being a hero! He should be here with me! He was just a boy! Furthermore, he was, He was my boy…”
Tony’s voice gets smaller, and he holds his head in his hand. He still can’t believe that his boy is gone and would never come back. That the awkward Teenager would never come through those doors again. Tony just refuses to believe that his son is dead, because if that was true, there was nothing to go forward too. And he knows his behavior is selfish, but everything just seemed so incredible pointless. Pepper strokes his back, rubbing circles. She lays her head on his shoulders, and he shudders.
Her present just calms him, making him feel saved and loved, he didn’t know what he would do without her.
“Tony, I know how much you miss him. I understand that this is hard for you, and I’m not telling you to stop grieving, because losing a child… I know how hard that is, but I’m telling you, Peter would have wanted you to at least try to keep going, and you know that.”
Her voice was gentle and the hand on his back gives him the support and warmth he needs right now. Tony lets himself get guided to the couch, laying down with her, under a pile of blankets. Deep down he knows that his wife is right, but he can't accept that.
“I just wish it would’ve been me, you know? I’m the father, I’m supposed to protect my son. It’s my duty and I failed him, and now he is 5 feet under the ground because of me. The Child is not supposed to die first.”
His voice is just a whisper, but he knows Pepper heard it, because she shuffles closer to him.
“Tony, I’m here, okay? And I’m not going anywhere, but what Peter did. He would do it all over again. For you, for May, for his friends, don’t let him die for nothing.”
Tony doesn’t know what to respond because she is right. His Son was a selfless Idiot, running into chaos without thinking what could happen to him. The only thought was saving people.
He closes his eyes, hoping it was all just a bad nightmare.
This was a nightmare!
Peter's Thoughts were spiraling. Peter Parker died, snapping in the final battle against Thanos. Spider-Man was dead in this Universe, which definitely answered some of his Question, but it left him with, what else was different here.
The Timeline was messed up, which lead to even more questions.
Peter wasn’t dusted here; it was Tony who turned into a thousand of pieces. Not Tony invented Time travel. No! This Peter Parker was smart enough to make a fucking Time Machine. Things turned out way different from in his Universe. Captain America died in exchange for the Black Widow, and it seems that it took a year longer than expected to bring everyone back.
Peter's head started to hurt. All those newfound information was all he could think off and seemed to make him all dizzy.
What about MJ and Ned? Did this Peter even know them? Or did he have other Friends like Peter 2 and 3?
“This is Insane.” He says slowly, still in shock. “This is absolutely insane, and I’m not supposed to be here!”
What if Peter ruined this Universe too? He must find a way back to his Home, to his Dimension.
“Oi, Boy! Calm down! You’re right, you definitely shouldn’t be on the streets, are your parents searching for you? Did you run away from home?”
That’s why people had been acting weird when they saw Spider-Man.
Things got way more complicated just now.
“Oi! I’m talking to you! Stupid boy.”
“I’m sorry, Sir! Do you perhaps know where Doctor Strange is at the moment?”
Peter didn’t get much information out of him. The Old man (Derick, so he called himself) wasn’t really in the mood to talk about the heroes. He said it made him sad and reminded him how the time changed so quickly.
He only told him that Spider-Man died 3 years ago and that Doctor Strange recently killed the Scarlet Witch and got promoted. Which leads to the fact that he wasn’t in New York at the time, because he was busy at Kamar-Taj helping to rebuild it.
Which also meant, Peter had to start over and make a new plan.
So, Doctor Strange and Peter Park 4? Was out of the picture. The next person that came to his mind was May. Now after seeing that May was still alive and well, it meant that he had a chance to see her again. To go home again, well, other peters home.
Peter yawns and his eyes feel heavy.
First Peter had to get some Sleep.
Derick told him a good spot to sleep, it was a homeless center a few blocks away. It reminded him of the one May work at, and gave him a fuzzy feeling. When he enters the building, he gave a small sigh of relief. The cold vanishes, and he lets himself sink into the warmth. The Guy on the front desk, was not much older than him, and he wondered if he was helping out. He had blonde hair that was long enough to cover half of his eyes and was wearing a shirt that could have come out of his own wardrobe.
“You are in luck, we have one sleeping bag left, go to second floor room 232, they are other Teenagers too. If you hurry, you may get a hot shower, I don’t really recommend showering cold here.”
Peter nodded, thanking Derick secretly once again for bringing him here.
“Here, take those. The towels you can return in the morning, the rest you can keep. And keep your stuff in your sleeping bag, some people are desperate here.”
The Blonde guy hands him a big towel, a Pajama, a toothbrush and some thick socks.
Peter thanks him, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He just wants to lay down and sleep for the rest of his miserable life. His Body feels so heavy and each step he takes up the stairs gets painfuller.
When he enters the shower, he hangs his stuff over the cabin, undressing. The hot water against him feels like heaven, and he gives out a small moan. In Peter's old Apartment, hot water was a luxury he couldn't afford. He rubs his skin with the soap till red marks appear. His greasy hair from all the sweet and blood from the fight, feels much better after 2 sessions of shampoo, and he gives out a cry of relief when he doesn’t smell his own vomit anymore.
The Room he was sleeping tonight was already dark when he entered, and some mumbled or swore at him after opening the door and letting the light in. He apologized, taking the empty spot in the corner.
The floor was hard and cold, and he could hear at least 20-30 people breathing next to him. Peter shifts in his sleeping bag, pressing himself closer with his bag. It didn't take long before his eyes closed and exhaustion took over.
Somewhere in Queens, a cup falls to the ground.
"Spider-Man sighted in Queens, injured and disoriented. Is Spider-Man back? Find more information and photos in the Daily Bugle!"
“Peter?”
1 Week before Peter's Arrival, Earth-1610.
"Honey? Are you sure, you feel up to it?"
Pepper's Voice is full of worry and Tony almost feels bad, but he knows he needs to do this. For May. For Peter. Tony looks at her through the mirror. Her blonde hair was tied back and low ponytail. The black dress she was wearing reached her knees and wrapped around her waist perfectly. She looked beautiful, like she always does.
"I need to do this, Pep. You know that."
She sighs, wrapping her arms around him, from behind. She leans over the chair.
"I'm going to be there and if you don't want to talk about anymore, you can stop."
Tony smiles at her, nodding. He stands up, going through his hair once more. Pepper turns him around, checking his tie for the third time in a raw. She gave him a sad small, before leaning in to give him a quick kiss.
"Alright, let's go." he suddenly hears Happy behind him. "They're waiting."
Tony takes a deep breath, ignoring that he suddenly was sweating buckets. This would be the first time that Tony would talk about Peter, well Spider-Man, since he came back to this stupid earth where Peter wasn't with him.
"And now Welcome; Tony Stark!"
Tony steps forward, a fake smile plastered on his lips, waving at everyone. Each step he takes feels like he is trying to walk through thick sand keeping him in place, not letting him move, but he somehow makes it to one of the red chairs and sits down.
"Welcome, welcome! Tony Stark everyone!"
The People cheer loudly, and it feels like his ears are blown away by all the claps and screams. He feels overwhelmed with all the people, the lights and he regrets coming here, the second he sits, looking in the face of the bald man, that is going to ask Question he tried to avoid the last year. His heart is racing and the only grounding thing is, knowing that Pepper was waiting for him in the back. He clears is throat, giving everyone a fake smile.
"How are you doing Today, Mr. Stark?" The interviewer ask.
The man is wearing an old suit and a green tie, that dosen't fit the whole concept.
"Oh, just Tony please!" He grins. "And i'm doing alright."
"Well I'm glad to hear that, really. It's your first time back infront of a camera after the blip. We are really honoured to have you here, Tony."
Tony just waves his Hand.
"Duty calls you know? We have been busy with rebuilding the Stark Towers, helping out with the Blip foundation. It all took a while to get back to life."
It did took him a while to get back to life.
"Oh yeah i get that, me and my wife got blipped as well. But coming back to the Blip Foundation, I heard you and Pepper Potts are investing in the Parker Foundation."
Tony just smiles. Sadness overwhelms him, he even failed May. Couldn't even protect her nephew. His son.
"Oh yes, certainly. May Parker was always a close friend of mine, supporting her, was just a obvious thing to do."
"After all, I heard she was close too Spider-Man too, if i'm correct."
"You are. May and Spider-Man knew each other for a long time. She ended up being his Manager."
"Tony, Spider-Man and you were pretty close too, how did you handle his death? It must’ve been hard.”
Tony shivers. Of course, his son’s death was “hard”.
“It was a difficult Time. Spider-Man and me were really close, getting to know him and seeing him grow as a hero, was something I will never forget.”
“So, you would say…”
But Tony wasn’t listening anymore. He hoped he would feel better talking about it, letting people know he was hurting too, but right now he couldn’t feel more than Pain.
He just wants his son back.
