Wanda, The Scarlet Witch, flips through the pages of the Darkhold using her magic and something catches her eye. Ever since Westview, Wanda was determined to reunite with either Vision or her kids, even if she had to resort to killing to get what she wanted. If no other solution popped up, she would have to gain the powers of a teenage girl who can travel the multiverse. But now, it looks like she won’t have to.
She reads of a being called Eternity, a very powerful being at the center of the universe and that it can grant you only one wish. She read on how to get there and she learned that it required to use the power of the Bifrost, the rainbow bridge that can transport you throughout the Nine Realms. Luckily for her, she knew of a certain someone who could get her there. And if he tries to resist her, she’ll either defeat him and take his weapon to open the gates, or she can chase that tennager. Another thing is, since it was one wish, she would have to wish for one being back and that being was going to be Vision. They could have the kids later on.
New Asgard is on alert as a swarm of dark black clouds begin blocking the light on the small village. The Asgardians grab and prepare their weapons. King Valkyrie arrives with her spear ready to pierce through whatever enemy they were facing. Thor arrives and takes the lead as Valkyrie asks him, “Who’d you piss off now?” Thor looks at her and says, “I’m not sure. But whoever it is will reveal themselves.”
They stand ready as Wanda appears from within the clouds. Thor widens his eyes as he tries to recognize the woman. Red magic and floats. He’s got it! “Everyone stand down! I know who this might be.” Thor commands. Valkyrie asks, “Are you sure?” Thor turns and smiles at her, “Yes. She fought besides the Avengers.”
“Hope you know what you’re doing.” Valkyrie says as Thor goes to confront the woman he recognizes. The dark clouds disappear and the light shines again. “Lady Maximoff! Here to warp my mind again?” Thor asks as Wanda chuckles lightly and she begins levitating down to his level. “No, but truly, what are you doing here?” Thor asks her.
“I want you to do something for me, Thor.” Wanda speaks. Thor nods and asks, “And what is this ‘something’ you want me to do?”
“I’ve been doing some research on how to bring my love, Vis, back to life, and I discovered one thing... a powerful being called Eternity.”
“Eternity?” Thor said baffled as Valkyrie stepped in, “Eternity is a very powerful being at the center of the universe. It grants the desire of the first person who reaches it.” Valkyrie walks off as Thor gives her the 'I already knew that' look. He turns ti look at Wanda, who chuckles slightly at the interaction.
“And I know you have the key.” Wanda said as she pointed at Stormbreaker. “So will you help me get Vis back?”
Thor considers it for a moment and finally says, “No, of course I’ll help you.” Thor cringes. “Sorry, that was bad.. joke.”
“So you’ll help me?” “Of course I will.” Thor smiles as he lifts Stormbreaker and tells it to take them to Eternity. The Bifrost opens as Thor and Wanda are sucked into it and eventually land at Eternity. Thor walks down the hall as Wanda inspects the statues and the surrounding area.
Wanda and Thor walk towards the statue at the end of the hall and notice the engraving imprinted. “You sure about this?” Thor asked her as Wanda said, “I’m very sure.” “Alright.” Thor lifts Stormbreaker and points it at the engraved mark. “Stormbreaker, open the Bifrost!” Thor commands as a rainbow light opens from Stormbreaker appears and begins lighting the mark. Wanda takes note of how beautiful the Bifrost is and looks over at Thor. “This may take a moment.” Thor says as 12% of the engraving was lit up.
Once the engraving lit up all the way, Stormbreaker ceased the Bifrost and the engraving was replaced with a bright light. “It’s open.” Wanda said as Thor nodded. “Go ahead and make your wish.” Wanda nodded at him and ran towards the light.
When she entered the light, both her and Thor were on water. Wanda looked at her surroundings and then she looked at Thor. She turned around and saw it. Eternity. Finally, she sits on her knees and her hand reaches out, closing her eyes, granting her only wish. She thinks of the times with Vision and she feels herself fall flat on the watery ground.
She then feels something familiar touching her. When she awakes, she sees the synthezoid she loved looking right back at her with love in his eyes again.
“Hello darling.” He said.
It was Vision! Wanda gasps in shock and breaks down as Vision comforts her and kisses him. When they break apart, Wanda turns around to face Thor, who smiles happily at her, and mouths to him, “Thank you. Thank you.” Vision stands both of them up as Vision looks over at Thor and nods at him. Thor nods back at him and Wanda.
Vision gave Wanda another kiss. They took a moment and Vision stood Wanda up as she walked up to Thor, "Thank you. Oh, thank you." Wanda breaks down and hugs Thor. Thor hugs her back as Wanda pulls away, wiping her tears away, and gives him a slight nod and the three of them leave the heavenly surrounding. Thor summoned the Bifrost taking them back to Earth.
Once they arrived, Wanda turned to face Thor, "Thank you... for everything."
"You're very welcome, Lady Maximoff." Thor boomed as Wanda rolled her eyes at the 'lady'.
"Please just call me Wanda." Thor nods as Wanda and Vision walk away, holding each other's hands.
