I'm not blushing!
Keith sat with both arms resting on the back of the couch, he was talking to Pidge about their life back on earth. Pidge and Keith had formed a friendship rather quickly and often understood when one another was feeling like an outcast. "Hey, guys... and Pidge. What's poppin'?" Lance asked as he entered the lounge, Lance sat next to Keith and leaned into his torso. Pidge giggled when they saw Keith's eyes widen in surprise but kept the sarcastic comments to themself. "Nothin' much, just talking bout' life." Pidge shrugged, "ugh, it sucks! Doesn't it?" Lance whined and rested his head on Keith's shoulder. "Sometimes. Not all the time though." Keith spoke shyly, Pidge subtly nodded their head to the side. Keith tried to argue with Pidge's head nod. He failed. "So... Any new aliens you have fallen in love with recently?" Pidge instigated as Keith moved and rested his arm around Lance's shoulders and began playing with his hair. If asked Keith would’ve said the actions were a subconscious movement, but it wasn’t. Keith purposely put his arm around Lance and purposely pulled him slightly closer. Pidge giggled again when Lance paused, his mouth hanging open slightly.
"I- I uh yeah, I guess. Not a girl though, I don't think?" Lance stuttered, he was still trying to process the fact that Keith was playing with his hair. While also trying to convince himself he didn’t enjoy it. It wasn’t working. "What do you mean? Why would you flirt with someone if you don't know if they're a guy or a girl?" Pidge questioned, "I'm not bothered what they are, perks of being bisexual. I just flirt with the pretty aliens." Lance spoke casually, "Wait are you saying that you've been flirting with alien males? I thought they were all girls. You know long hair and everything." Keith looked down at Lance who was still leaning against him. "Probably, I don't have time to google the difference between alien males and females. Plus I'm goin' for the handsome girls and the pretty boys. I mean long hair on guys is pretty attractive." Lance spoke casually not realising what he had just admitted. "So... Does Keith classify as having long hair?" Pidge teased, Lance looked up at Keith and reached for the tips of Keith's hair that rested at his shoulders. Keith wanted to believe that his blush wasn’t obvious but Pidge made sure that he knew it wasn’t very subtle.
Toying with Keith's hair a small smile could be seen on Lance's face, "yeah, I'd say he qualifies as having long hair." Lance leaned his head back against Keith's shoulder. "Hey, what are you guys talking-" Shiro froze mid-sentence when he noticed Lance practically cuddling Keith, "What is happening?" Shiro spoke slowly, "What do you mean?" Lance was oblivious. "Your- how do I say this? Cuddling? Yeah, you cuddling Keith..." Shiro spoke slowly again. Lance looked at Keith and finally processed how he was sitting. "Oh! I uh- I'm so sorry! Sorry if I made you uncomfortable!" Lance panicked and scrambled to sit up properly, "Not really, more just shocked than anything." Keith scratched the back of his neck shyly, "I- I'm not bothered if you still wanna sit like that." Keith looked away, his blush remaining on his face. "I- yeah. I guess I just miss my family, I would always sit like that with my sister when we gossiped together."
