How did it go from a calm night to a chaotic and unexpected night? It all started when Mj, Harley, Ned, Peter and Morgan had all gone out to walk around the city for a little. Morgan is eight years old while Harley is seventeen and Peter, Mj and Ned are sixteen. It's been a cold Christmas night with snow falling from the sky. Morgan had wanted to go and walk around in the snow, watching it fall so the kids insisted on taking her. Everyone had agreed especially with how much cookies and candy canes they ate so they were on their merrily way.
"Pedrooo" Peter hears a chilled voice whisper in the night sky.
Peter instantly freezes up. The hair on his arms and neck rises. He looks around but can't see anything. Can't see him.
But no, Adrien Toomes is in jail and changed for the better. He told Peter that he never meant for this to happen, he only wanted to support his family but ended up realizing that it just wasn't the right way. He told Peter that he wanted to change for his wife and daughter and that is why he so easily let Peter web him up for Shield to collect him.
But then why is Peter hearing his voice? Is it all in his head or is it real?
"Petey?" Morgan suddenly says as she stops dead in her tracks to turn around making the other three teens do the same.
"You alright?" Harley questions.
"Uhhhhh yeah, I'm alright. Sorry" Peter apologizes.
"Is it tingling?" Ned wonders.
"Oh my god. Please stop calling it that and no, it's not" Peter lies.
"We should probably start heading back soon anyways. They want us back soon for a movie" Mj recalls.
"Pedroooo" the voice whispers again.
Peter looks to the building across the street on his right. He feels like someone is there, watching them. But it can't be him...can it?
"What are you looking at?" Morgan wonders but Peter ignores her as his senses are warning him that somebody is watching them.
And Peter thinks he knows who that somebody is.
"I-I gotta go. I'll see you guys at the tower?" Peter suggests.
"No way we are leaving you. Tell us what you're seeing" Harley protests but it's too late, Peter was ducking into the alleyway and throwing off his clothes to reveal his suit underneath.
In a single blink of eye, he took off swinging to the building across the street but as he lands on the roof, he doesn't see anybody. His senses are warning him. Warning him of a threat.
"Pedroooo" the voice whispers again.
Peter whips around just to see him facing the streets when his senses blares at him. He barely even has a chance to move as a pair of wings had dug its way onto Peters back and the other wing swings around and hits Peter. Peter stumbles off the building but manages to use his stickiness to stick to the side. He hears pedestrians down below shouting. He can hear his friends still across the street but he pushes the thoughts out of the way because Adrien Toomes is here.
The Vulture is here and he's going to kill Peter just like he always wanted too ever since Peter started to get in his way. Now he's back and out of jail. All of his wanting to change, thrown right out the window. He wants revenge.

"The kids are late" Tony states as he looks at the time. They were suppose to be at the tower a few minutes ago but they still never showed up.

"SPIDEY!!!" Harley, Mj, Ned and Morgan all screams as Peter is falling while fighting the Vulture. It's like he's getting thrown around like a rag doll while also getting some good hits on the bird. The fight has been a hell of a thing to watch. Everyone's recording while also getting out of the way. Morgan and the teens have been scared as they watch the fight go on especially Morgan who has never seen anything like this in her eight years of living. She was never allowed to watch the old battles and never tried.

"Maybe they're just having fun" Yelena smirks as she bites into another cookie.
"And they're responsible so I wouldn't worry about it" Kate shrugs.
"Coming from you" Clint scoffs.
"They probably just lost track of time" May guesses because Peter does that a lot.
"Yeah, too busy goofing around" Sam chuckles.

Peter doesn't give up fighting.
He can't.
He's in the Vultures grasp but he doesn't mind because he went for the source. He's hitting the wings as Toomes is flying them higher up in the air. Toomes would swat Peters arms but Peter is stronger. He releases himself from the hold and he free falls. He hears everyone gasp but he pays more attention to Toomes.
Toomes flies back down, towards Peter. Peter is reaching the buildings once again so he shoots out a web. He can hear the wings starting to malfunction as he lets himself swing to another building to go land on a rooftop.
His spidey senses goes off right before his webbing gets cut off and he's grabbed by Adrien again.

"Maybe we should just give them ten more minutes" Pepper suggests.
"Yeah, they could be walking back right now" Happy agrees.
"I think you midguardians worry too much. I think the small mortals are fine" Thor brushes it off.
"Ten more minutes and then we will let you track them down" Rhodey negotiates.
"They're going to be back by then" Nat assumes.
"Yeah, hopefully nothing happened" Steve agrees.
"You weren't supposed to say that buddy" Bucky sighs.
"I think they're fine. They're kids, let them have some fun" Wanda assures.
"Ten minutes. I'll even remind you when the time is up" Vision claims.
"Ten minutes" Tony repeats.
"Don't worry, they'll be busting through the elevator soon" Bruce says as he gives Tony a small and reassuring smile.

"PETER!!" Harley shouts as him, Morgan, Mj and Ned all races to him on an empty rooftop.
The Vulture had taken off, thinking he had finished the job which had them all worry. Morgan is in tears while the teens are in panic. The civilians down below think Spider-Man had just disappeared somewhere else but he's actually hurt on top of a random rooftop with snow starting to cover it.
When the kids had all rushed to him, they immediately noticed his closed lens which made them rip off his mask to prove their point. He's unconscious.
"Petey, please wake up" Morgan pleads.
"It's ok, he's going to be alright" Mj assures her when Peter moves. It makes everyone jump but they all quickly recover.
"Wh-where is he?" Peter immediately asks.
"Don't worry about it, we need to go to the tower" Ned instructs.
"No, I need to go after him" Peter insists as he sits upwards with a small hiss escaping his lips.
"We're going to have to take you to medbay" Mj claims.
"This isn't how I imagined Christmas to be" Peter sarcastically comments.
"We got your clothes from the alleyway" Ned recalls as he hands Peter his sweatpants, shirt, hoodie and jacket.
"You're bleeding a lot" Morgan points out.
"I'm ok Mo, it's not that much" Peter assures as he slowly gets up and puts his clothes over his suit.
Once he's done, he's leaning onto Harley for support while looking around for the Vulture.
"He's gone" Harley claims only for Peter to nod his head.
"Flash is coming to pick us up" Mj states.
"And we're really past the time they wanted us back" Ned claims with wide eyes.
"Don't be a baby, it's just a time" Morgan comments.
"I'm older than you. I'm not a baby" Ned protests.
"You're scared that my dad or one of the avengers are going to kill us for being late" Morgan points out.
"They could if they wanted too" Ned argues.
"Let's just get off of this rooftop" Mj states.

"Where are they?" Tony questions for the billionth time that night.
"We still have six more minutes before time is up" Vision claims.
"This is ridiculous" Tony mutters but he really is just worried.
"They'll be running through the doors soon" Rhodey exclaims.

"Flash!" Mj shouts making Flash pull over in his car.
"Ugh. First I see a really cool fight with Spider-Man and the Vulture and now I see you dorks and some random six year old" Flash scoffs.
"Can you please just drop us off somewhere?" Harley snaps at him as he holds up Peter to the best of his abilities.
"No" Flash denies.
"My brother is badly injured and if you don't take us, I'll sue you" Morgan threatens.
"Sue me? You're a child" Flash spats.
"I'm eight and I know I'm definitely smarter than you asshole. Now let us get in so my brother doesn't die" Morgan glares at him.
"We're getting in whether you say yes or not" Harley claims as he's already opening the back door to the convertible. "And who the fuck drives a convertible when it's snowing?! Put the roof up."
"No. You are all getting in my car without my permission so I will not be putting the hood up" Flash argues.
"Put the hood up Eugene" Mj tells him in a warning tone which only makes him do so. Mj sits in the passenger seat while Harley, Peter, Ned and Morgan are all in the back. Peter is leaning onto Harley while slowly trying to keep his eyes open.
"You know the hospital is like fifteen minutes away, right? Can he wait that long?" Flash wonders.
"Take us to the avengers tower, no questions asked" Harley tells him.
"I don't think now is the time for Parker's fake internship crap" Flash claims.
"Take us there" Mj demands.
"Fine" Flash rolls his eyes as he starts the drive there which is only seven minutes away. "Mind telling me what happened because I am driving you to the tower just for them to send you to a hospital?"
"No, we're good" Mj shuts down just as Peter lets in a painful breath before coughing.
"Sorry" Peter apologizes in a very quiet voice.
"Even when half dead you're polite unlike this driver" Harley scoffs.
"At least I'm taking you" Flash comments.
"Th-thank you" Peter thanks.
"Can you drive faster?" Morgan complains.
"Not really unless you want us to get in an accident" Flash retorts.
"It's fine, we're almost there" Ned assures as Mj glares at Flash.

"You are all grounded and yes, I can ground you all even if you are not my child. I am Tony Stark, I can do whatever I want" Tony declares.
"Meanie" Morgan pouts.
"You have to beat May in order to ground me" Peter smirks from the hospital bed he's laying on in the medbay.
Flash had dropped them all off in which they ran to the elevators for Friday to take them to medbay while she alerted everyone else of their arrival. Peter had gotten all taken care of when Pepper, Tony and May were allowed in.
"I'm just glad you're ok" May assures as Peter sticks his tongue out at Tony.
"I am double grounding you" Tony claims and yep, this is definitely an unexpected Christmas.
