Tony Stark/Scott Lang (Fluff)

Being snowed in wasn’t always a great thing for some people. But for Tony and Scott, it meant an escape from their work lives and free time to spend together. It had snowed at least 6 feet in the last 12 hours and it was definitely not stopping.

“Yup, its official. We are snowed in,” Tony said in an exasperated tone looking out the window he could barely see out of.

It was around 10 in the morning and, having snowed all night long, there was no way they were getting out of Scotts small bungalow he had bought after his daughter, Cassie, got her own place. The house was small, but it made up for the cramped space in its warmth. Scott and Tony had decorated the place together, including only the warmest colors. They had a couch drowning in soft pillows and colorful throws, the floor was covered in super soft brand new carpet, and the kitchen looked like it came straight out of a fairy cottage. The cliche cozy cottage. The couple wouldn’t have it any other way.

Scott was in the kitchen, cooking pancakes and bacon for breakfast, the smell wafting in the air making it ever so sweet. Tony came up from behind him, kissing his neck and wrapping his arms around his middle, pulling him close.

“Well, it couldn’t be that bad. I get to be with you,” Scott smiled, flipping a pancake and running his hand over Tony’s stubble.

Scott and Tony had been together for over 4 years now. They started dating shortly after the events of the Snap era, and were married a year later. Their wedding was spectacular as one would imagine. All white and ivory, gold and silver. Scott, with a little nagging from Tony, wanted it to be a small ceremony, maybe 20 or less. Tony had hesitantly agreed, but appreciated it in the long run, as they both felt it made the ceremony more meaningful. Photos of their wedding hung all around the house, and one very silly photo on their bedside table.

Blueberries, bananas, and whipped cream had been set out across the island for some very much needed pancake decorating.

"What's all this, Scott?" Tony turned towards the ingredients.

"Oh, I don't know. I thought maybe we could decorate the pancakes." He flipped another pancake.

"I love you so much, honey." Tony turned once more to his love.

Scott had flipped his last pancake, turning the stove-burner off and turning to Tony, kissing him lightly on his lips. Tony's stubble tickled his face as usual. Scott laughed as they both set up plates, decorating them to their fancy. When they were done, they walked over to the couch, setting their plates down on the coffee table.

“So, what’ll it be?” Tony said, gesturing to the projector with the remote as they settled.

“Hm, how about ‘27 Dresses’?” It was Scott’s favorite.

He leaned forward and took a bite from his blueberry whipped cream pancakes.

“Again? We watch it every time?”

“Its amazing every time!”

Tony chuckled, pulling up the movie and playing it. The projector kicked on and sputtered, old from use. Scott cuddled up next to his husband.

They ate their pancakes in peace as they watched the movie, Scott laughing through the comedy bits and crying through the sad.

“So, tell me again. Why is this your favorite movie?” Tony said, wiping a spot of whipped cream off of Scott’s chin and licking his finger.

“Its my favorite because its all about love.”

“But, its also sad?”

“I said it was about love, and love is all about sadness sometimes. Sad from a lost opportunity, sad from not being able to be with someone you love, sad from making mistakes and disappointing someone you really, truly love.”

Scott took a moment to breathe, then continued, “Sometimes, being sad shows us just how much we really love someone. How happy we are when they are around, and that loss of happiness when they aren’t. But knowing you’ll always see them again helps. But, thats just my opinion, and why I love the movie. Its happy, its funny, and its sad. Its genuine.”

Tony took the information in, turning it over in his brain, “I love you so much.”

“I love you too.”

They went back to watching the movie, already close to the end.

When the movie was over, their bellies were full, plates empty, and both were long overdue for a nap.

“Come to bed with me?” Scott was standing, he’d just cleaned their dishes, gesturing to the room.

Tony was drowning in the pillows, “Ugh, just one more minutes.”

The man sighed and slowly stood up, walking with his love to the bedroom, where he promptly flopped over their king-size bed. Scott followed him, tucking himself into the side of his husband, bringing the blanket over them. They quickly warmed up, engrossed in eachother's love and affection.

"I love you so much, Scott. I hope you know that everyday, I don't tell you enough." Tony was right.

He had been very busy with work and trying to keep Stark Enterprises afloat after the Avengers had broken up. Things started to come up that hurt business, and after they stopped selling weapons, their profit almost came close to 0. But, somehow, Tony had done it. He had upped advertisements tremendously and instead put their investments in stock, which helped small businesses in the community and further helped the economy. Tony had addressed the issues that were affecting business, and though it didn't fix public view of the company, some major investors put their trust back into the company.

However, with all the reperations he was doing with the company, he had almost completely left out Scott. But, being snowed in allowed them to actually have some time together.

"I love you too, sweetheart. And you tell me plenty, I know you are a very busy man."

"It's no excuse, I should be spending more time with my wonderful husband," Tony put his hand on Scotts face, brushing away a bit of pancake crumbs from his lip.

Scott placed his hand on the one on his face, rubbing it as they looked at each other in their home, in their bed.

“Honestly, Tony. This is my dream. Having a home with you, growing old with you is all I want. And I understand that you need some time for work too. Its fine.”

“I’ll set some time aside to spend with you,” Tony smiled apologetically.

“As long as it doesn’t affect your work, thats okay with me.” Scott kissed him softly, scooting closer to his man.

Tony pulled him closer by his waist, kissing him back just how he knew Scott loved. Just how he knew Scott loved him. They laid there, in each others arms, together. As one in their attempt at a family. They were each others family, and they would be for the rest of their lives. Growing old together.
