Chapter 2;Discord Meeting
Willows POV

“I can’t believe that you just spent an hour building a giant chicken egg” was all I heard when I woke up to see a sleep deprived Augustus lying down on the ground, I then notice Augustus quickly pressing something on his phone just before I could look
“Augustus? Did you seriously spend the entire night watching their videos?!” I ask him with a concerned look in my eyes”And are you talking to yourself?!”
“What?! It’s morning already!” ‘He’s clearly avoiding the second question, oh well prob doesn’t matter that much’
“I can’t believe you spent the entire night watching their videos”
“I know but it’s just so addicting” Augustus then starts bring his phone up to my face showing his watch history filled with Minecraft videos by Ot1erw!thaDark3ide
“No way.” I look at him weirdly “You did not just spend the entire night watching one singular YouTubers playlist for a random Minecraft smp”
Augustus looks at me for a moment and then says “I know, I know it’s just” he ponders for a moment looking for the right words “it’s just that they know how to keep their videos entertaining, I’m surprised they don’t have more subs than us”
“Wait, how much subs do they have?”
“Around 50k subs”
“Can I ask you like 2 more questions about them?”
“Sure, but I only know little”
“Okay”
“Do they do face-cam?”
“Sometimes, other times they don’t use it” He then shows a picture of them
I blush a bit at how pretty they are but it quickly fades away ‘calm down you’ve only known them for a couple of hours and plus they don’t even know you’ “How many videos of them did you watch last night?”
“Like 3-something”
“Well that’s all the questions I had for you” ‘I wonder what else they post besides from Minecraft videos’
Then all of a sudden I realize someone has been standing at the door just listening in on the conversation me and Augustus were having
“Can you guys ever stop being geeks?”
“Boscha? What are you doing here”
“…”
“Imeanitsobviouslyyourhousetoobutitstilldoesntmeanyoucanjustcomeinherelikethat”
“Ok what did you just say and why’d you say it so fast?”
“Nothing much, and idk why”
“Anyways amity wants to see you and Augustus, she needs to know why you guys were up all night”
‘Wait, I wasn’t up all night’ “Augustus what does she mean?” I look at him confused
“Uhhhhhh, so I may or may have not have gotten on some certain discord server and talk to some certain YouTuber” ‘now I knew he was lying’

Augustus past POV
‘Oooooooo, they have a discord server! I’m gonna join it’ As I say that I click accept invite and as soon as I join I see that they’re on call
“Heyyyyy!” The voice was very calm but excited at the same time
“Hi, who are you?” I ask them not realizing that their username said it
“Oh uh! I’m Luz, Luz Noceda and I go by ^Ot1erw!thaDark3ide^. What about you stranger?” ‘Oh I didn’t actually expect them to ask for my name but they did give me theirs’
“Augustus Porter! I go by ^guszur^ on YouTube though, WAIT,DID YOUSAYOt1erw!thaDark3ideOMGGGIVEBEENWATCHINGYOUR VIDEOSFORTHEENTIRENIGHTICANTBELIEVEIMTHEONLYONEONWHENYOURON!”
“Woahh, calm down there bud and I’m always happy to meet a fan!” Their voice seemed so reassuring and kind, it was hard not to talk to them

Present Augustus POV

“Look I’m sorry okay, i didn’t intend to keep anyone(Amity and Skara) awake or accidentally get Willow in trouble, it was just they were so coooolllll”
“You should be sorry, me and Skara stayed up all night listening to you talk to some stranger. Do you even know how dangerous that is Augustus?” She said sternly
“I know, but it’s not like they’re going to track me down plus they’re a pretty chill person they even let me be in the video they were making!”
“Augustus.” This time she said it more sweetly
“They could just be using you” she cups her hands around mine “remember last time someone was nice to you and got a video with you” ‘the memories of Matt and his previous relationship come flooding back to him on how he thought someone might actually like him but he just ended up getting used again’
“NO!” I rip my hands away from hers “She isn’t like that, she can’t be” ‘what if it was true, what if she was using him for fame……no she was so nice to him it can’t be true’ I pull out my phone to go check their videos
“If they were using me then they would’ve included me in the title and plus I’m pretty sure they don’t even know who I am I mean my discord name is the same as my YouTube name”
“Ok Augustus, I’ll believe you but remember if they try to pull anything me, Willow, Boscha, and Skara got your back and maybe Masha even though we barely see her anymore since she got that part time job at the museum”
“Yeah” I say looking away, “Anyways what’s the video going to be about today?”
